The year 2020 has been a rollercoaster ride for most of us and this isn’t a secret for anyone that the one thing which we have done the most while sitting at home is googling all kinds of random stuff.

But, remember when the lockdown was initially imposed and the dismally rising Coronavirus cases used to scare all of us and Kanika Kapoor became the talk of the town. She had gotten back from London to Mumbai and then went to Lucknow for a few events and didn’t follow the social distancing and quarantine norms.

At that time, she became the first celebrity to test positive for COVID-19 and received a lot of flak.

This majorly happened as her negligence put President Ram Nath Kovind at the risk of contracting the virus.  However, this incident increased her name in the Google search so much that she became the most searched personality of 2020. Her name was in the list of the most searched personalities of 2020 after US President-elect Joe Biden and Journalist Arnab Goswami.

Not only this, but the supreme leader of North Korea Kim Jong-un was also in fourth spot on the list, followed by Amitabh Bachchan on the fifth spot. Amitabh Bachchan along with his other family members also tested positive for Coronavirus earlier.

Rhea Chakraborty was also on the list at the seven spot as she has been in the news since Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely demise. Sushant’s ex- girlfriend Ankita Lokhande and twitter queen Kangana Ranaut were also on the list of Google’s most searched personality list 2020.
