Two very important members of the Indian cricket team who are currently a part of the squad for the Australian tour, Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav celebrated their birthdays together despite having dates of birth a week apart.

In a video recently shared by the Twitter account of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the duo could be seen cutting a cake alongside the team’s bowling coach Bharathi Arun who shared his date of birth with the Chinaman spinner.

Some of the other big names of red-ball cricket for India including Cheteshwar Pujara, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ajinkya Rahane were also seen in the video applauding as the birthday-men cut the cake.

Ravindra Jadeja had pulled his hamstring and suffered a concussion during the 1st T20I against Australia and did not play in the second and third T20I matches. It is also being speculated that the all-rounder might have to sit out during the first Test in Adelaide as well. 

Meanwhile Kuldeep Yadav who only played in the irrelevant third ODI after Australia’s win in the first two matches, is expected to start in the pink-ball match that will begin from December 17, 2020.
