Gauahar Khan and dancer beau Zaid Darbar are set to tie the knot today. The duo, who got engaged last month, will have an intimate ceremony in the wake of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

"It gives us immense joy to announce that we are tying the knot and embarking on a journey of forever! Keeping the current scenario in mind, we will be celebrating the big day with our family in an intimate ceremony," Khan said in a statement.

Today is her big day but before that, let’s take a look at her journey through these years.

1. Gauahar Khan has been in the glamour field since 2009. Before starting her acting career, Gauahar was modelling for designers like Manish Malhotra and Neeta Lulla.

2. In 2009, she participated in the celebrity dance show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (season 3) where she showed that she is more than just a pretty face.

3. After modelling, she decided to foray into acting and she made her debut with critically acclaimed movie Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year.

4. In 2013, Gauahar participated in India’s most controversial game reality show Bigg Boss Season 7 and emerged as the winner.

5. She gained immense popularity after her song Jhallah Wallah from Ishaqzaade in 2014. She was appreciated for her role as Chand Bibi.

6. In 2014, she was at the peak of her career and was even invited as a contestant in the show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 5 and she was appreciated for her fearless attitude to certain tasks.

7. In June 2019, Khan appeared in the Indian version of The Office, an adaptation of the hit BBC series of the same name.

8. In 2020, she has decided to take her personal life a level ahead by getting married.
