The ongoing protest by the farmers around the Delhi border is only getting stronger with each passing day as more and more people come in support of the farmers. The farmers have been protesting sitting in the chilling winters of the national capital.

The protest has been receiving support from artists like Diljit Dosanjh and Swara Bhasker amongst others. Now Pakistani artist Jawad Ahmad has created a song for farmers across the world. The song is named ‘Kisana’ and was released in December 2020.  The video has now been viewed thousands of times on YouTube. Many reaction videos of the songs have also been released.

According to TOI, expressing his thoughts about the song he said that a right’s movements of farmers are necessary all across the world. He also shared that the situation of the peasants in Pakistan is equally miserable.

He said, “ I made the video after seeing how the farmers' movement in India is getting recognized by farmers across the world. The lyrics of the song say, 'Uth Utaan Nu Kisana Hunn Tu Jeena Aay, Polia Tu Jag Da Ann Data Teri Sohni Tarti Maata Tu Jag Da Tu Jag Da Palan Haar Hunn Tu Jeena Aay, which roughly translates to peasants need to rise and that they are the providers of the world.”
