Rohit Sharma may not be a horophile, but boy does he know how to pick his watches.  

Like all cricketers, he too has a taste for some wonderful timepieces.

Virat Kohli has an amazing collection of Rolexes. KL Rahul, seems to be a fan of Audemars Piguet. 

Rohit, who is a massive fan of pieces from Hublot, actually seems to love classics, across all brands.

Very recently, Rohit Sharma was spotted in Mumbai wearing a timepiece from Rolex that will surely go down as a classic, simply because how difficult it is to get one’s hands on it right now.

But first, let’s have a look at his outfit.

Rohit was seen wearing a rather understated outfit, with a very basic T-shirt, and a pair of steel-grey coloured shorts. 

The pair of Adidas originals sneakers that he paired with his ensemble actually sits harmoniously.

We also like the fact that he chose to go for a light coloured mask, and a cool baseball cap to tie it all together.

His watch though had to be the highlight of his ensemble. He is seen here with a Sky-Dweller from Rolex. However, the piece that he is wearing is not just any regular Sky-Dweller.

The one the Rohit is wearing has the optional black dial, called the Bright Black. 

Normally, the Sky-Dweller comes with a blue or a white face. Given that Rohit’s watch has this neat little customisation, it already is a rarity.

Then there is the fact that the Sky-Dweller is an extremely collectable piece, that horophiles across the world are desperately trying to get their hands on. 

Like most Rolex pieces with a perpetual movement, this watch too has an insane waiting list.

Although the watch retails for Rs 10.67 Lakhs, including the fluted bezel and the oyster bracelet, getting your hands on one with a black dial is pretty tough. 

If you are a fan of Rolex, you will find it much easier to get your hands on a Sky-Dweller with a blue face.

All in all, that’s a really great piece that Rohit has there. It certainly is a future classic.
