Former adult industry star Mia Khalifa recently tweeted in support of the protesting farmers in India. She called out the government on suspending the internet services at the protest sites as a human right violation and said that she stands with the farmers.

In her tweet she wrote, "What in the human rights violations is going on?! They cut the internet around New Delhi?! #FarmersProtest"

Not only this, she also called out those who accused the protestors of being paid actors and not real people who were actually concerned about the cause.

She wrote, "Paid actors," huh? Quite the casting director, I hope they're not overlooked during awards season. I stand with the farmers. #FarmersProtest.”

In the video you can hear, Arnab Goswami asking the panelists who is Mia Khalifa, and then he continues to ask that if anyone knows who she is.

Then suddenly one of the panelists says, “Mia Khalifa ek bohot badi Kisaan hai. Inki saari kheti internet pe chalti hai. Toh jab yahan internet kata toh inhein dard hua ki inki kheti kaise chalegi.”
