Pratik Gandhi, who gave a praiseworthy performance in Scam 1992, has bagged another Bollywood film and is all set to entice his fans with one more breakthrough role. He is all set to collaborate with Taapsee Pannu in Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan, which is being produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur.

According to the reports available, the movie is an investigative comedy set in central India and it will be directed by Arshad Syed. In an interview with Mid-Day, Pannu said, “It is exciting to partner with a producer as prolific as Sid, as well as Pratik, whose performance in Scam 1992 left a lasting impression on me.”

Siddharth was also overjoyed about the project and told the leading tabloid, “When Arshad narrated his charming screenplay to us, we instantly knew we had to produce the film. We are excited to work with Taapsee, who brings so much energy to the screen."

Reportedly, Pannu will play a feisty cop in the movie while Gandhi essays the role of a chauvinistic brat. They will be forced to take a journey that they are unwilling to and their personalities will clash, resulting in the much-needed humour.

People, however, aren’t particularly happy with their collaboration as they aren’t okay with Taapsee being in the same frame as Pratik. 

Would have seen yiur movie for sure Prateek... but you have poor co actor.

Meanwhile, Taapsee has her kitty full with upcoming projects like Rashmi Rocket, Looop Lapeta, Haseen Dillruba, Dobaaraa, and Shabaash Mithu.

Pratik, on the other hand, has started shooting for his upcoming romantic comedy film Atithi Bhooto Bhava in Mathura. The film also features Jackie Shroff in a pivotal role and actress Sharmin Segal in the female lead. Helmed by Hardik Gajjar, the film is slated to release later this year.
