Vikrant Massey may be considered a renegade and understated when we talk about style and fashion, but the man actually has quite a few nifty little tricks up his sleeves. 

While we may not see him in something blinged up or wearing sneakers that cost almost as a new iPhone, the man knows style.

What we love about Vikrant’s sartorial sensibilities, is the simplicity and the regality with which he carries his outfits. Whether it is an uber-hip street outfit or a very elegantly tailored suit, the man oozes charm.

For his fans, he is nothing short of a style icon.

Recently, he was spotted at the Mumbai Airport in a very basic but elegant looking outfit. Considering that he was taking a flight, under these unsavoury conditions, comfort had to be the number one priority.

Vikrant is wearing a rather dope looking saffron kurta, and a pair of relaxed fit blue coloured chinos. The outfit is simplistic and yet elegant. In other words, it is a quintessentially Vikrant. 

The earthy tone of the kurta sits quite harmoniously with his trousers.

We love the informal manner in which Vikrant has folded his sleeves up, and is keeping things casual. Along with kurta and the chinos, he has paired a very basic pair of slippers. 

If you ask us, it is a little too basic, for our taste.

A pair of leather mojaris or a pair of tanned kolhapuri chappals would have been so much better. With that being said, the overall outfit actually works quite well for him.

The only thing we would have changed in Vikrant’s outfit is his accessories. Vikrant just has a smartwatch on his wrist. We would have loved to see some bracelets on his other wrist.

Given that the kurta is very simple, a contrasting scarf, or a stole would also have added a different character to it, which would have elevated the entire ensemble to a whole new level.

All in all, it is a pretty neat and suave outfit here, and something that regular folks like us can aspire to. Kudos, Vikrant, take a bow!
