In a viral video that has been doing the rounds of the internet today, UP CM Yogi Adityanath appears to abuse the cameraperson of news agency ANI. The video ends abruptly as soon as the CM is seen blurting an expletive.
As soon as the video went up, Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav was the first one to take a dig at the CM. Without sharing the video, he tweeted a verse in hindi which loosely translates to "Please hear the sweet words from 'manyavar' to journalists. But use headphones and away from children."
Listen to 'Manyavar' discourses given to journalists, put headphones on Madhur
and 'Keep away from children!' < / p> & mdash; Akhilesh Yadav (@yadavakhilesh) April 5, 2021
As soon as the video started getting traction, UP CM Yogi Adityanath's media advisor shared a 'fact-check' report from Breaking Tube , claiming that the viral video was fake. The report claims that the last three seconds of the video where the CM is seen using a swear word is doctored.
BT Fact Check: edited video of CM Yogi, words added in last 3 seconds of video.

Retracting the old video, news agency ANI tweeted a fresh new video, stating "Editors note: previously issued Live Sound byte is retracted". In the video, UP CM Yogi Adityanath can be seen speaking right after taking his first shot of the COVID-19 vaccine

The video was originally tweeted by retired IAS officer Surya Pratap Singh. Here it is:
This is the real face of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
The cameraman of ANI got a bit of a 'fucker somewhere' "We are addressing this by saying.
Well this should be the case with ANI, it is bound to happen when the country's largest agency starts to do more sycophancy than a government spokesperson.

The officer has ever since been trying to take down claims that the video was fake, with his own reasoning:
Let the IT cell prove itself to be a surreal video. There are two questions -
1. In both the videos, Yogi ji is saying different things, listen after the 'scientists of the country', the video is completely different, so how was it edited?
2. Edited Video How did ANI tweet and then delete? https://t.co/Z0gw3G6qTz
