Kartik Aaryan may not come across as a petrolhead, but boy, does he know how to pick his cars. Earlier, he could be seen driving around Mumbai in a sick looking BMW, and then a green coloured Mini Cooper. Now, he’s the proud owner of one of the fastest SUVs money can buy.

Kartik Aaryan recently took delivery of a dope-looking, Nero-Noctis, black coloured Lamborghini Urus. The black SUV seems to be the top variant of the Urus line-up and looks rather sick. That and the sporty red interiors give it an awe-inducing appeal.

The Lamborghini Urus is one of the fastest SUVs in the world, with a top speed of 305 kmph. Those figures may seem normal for a regular supercar, but then, given Urus’ weight, and tall build, the fact that this is a 5 seater SUV, this is anything but “normal.”

The Urus is powered by a 4.0 litre V8 with twin turbos, which allows it to hit that 300 kmph top speed. This same engine, coupled with a state of the art twin-clutch automatic gearbox, allows the Urus to speed up to 100 kmph from a standstill, in under 3 seconds.

To put that into perspective, many aircrafts that pilots train in, and often fly commercially, don’t have that sort of acceleration.

Saying that the Urus is a beast of a machine would be an understatement. We just wish Kartik gets to enjoy the potential of his latest purchase someday, in a safe and sound environment.

The Urus is actually a hot favourite among movie folks. Earlier last year, Rajinikanth was seen driving around in a purple coloured Urus. Film Director Rohit Shetty, who also happens to be one of the highest-paid directors in Bollywood, also has bright yellow Urus.

Other celebrities who have a Lamborghini Urus of their own include, the likes of Ranveer Singh and Kannada star Puneeth Rajkumar.

The top-end Urus costs Rs 3.43 Crores (ex-showroom Mumbai). Add up all the registration and insurance costs, and you’re looking at a cool Rs 4.03 price tag.

All in all, that’s a seriously dope car that Kartik has gone for.
