Arvind Kejriwal Mocked Brutally For Asking For Oxygen Supply Support From PM Narendra Modi

With the rising cases of COVID in Delhi, itโ€™s getting hard for people to organize oxygen cylinders and many are losing their lives because of the lack of it. Today, the Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal raised the issue in a meeting PM Modi held on Friday with chief ministers of 10 states with the most number of Covid-19 cases.

โ€œThere is a huge shortage of oxygen in Delhi. Will people of Delhi not get oxygen if there is no oxygen-producing plant here?" Kejriwal said, reported news agency ANI. He also added that Delhi is also facing issues when it comes to the transportation of Oxygen cylinders. Kejriwal said, "Please suggest whom should I speak to when a patient at a hospital in Delhi is about to die due to lack of oxygen supply? We can't let people die. I appeal to you to take strict action, else there will be a tragedy in Delhi."

He also accused other states of blocking oxygen supplies to Delhi. He asked PM Modi to "call the chief ministers of the states where the trucks are being stopped.โ€ He went on to add, โ€œI am not able to do anything despite being the chief minister. I'm not able to sleep throughout the night. Please pardon me if there's any untoward incident."

After he shared the ordeal, people on Twitter started to bash him for not planting an oxygen plant in all these years.

Hereโ€™s how people bashed him:

All that money spent on ads can be used to make oxygen plants.

Make a plant dumb morons. Many states are doing it. But all you've to do is cheap politics.

This guy provided every possible amenities to protesting "farmers" despite knowing it's dangerous but he didn't put an effort to set up Oxygen plants in his state despite knowing second wave imminent and Delhi is very vulnerable as it was clear from first wave.

If a CM is incapable in handling its affairs then President Rule should be imposed, this incompetence cannot be tolerated...!!!

Delhi & Maharashtra should be brought under President Rule to effectively contain COVID.....@HMOIndia @PMOIndia

Then, there were people who told these haters that Delhi canโ€™t have the oxygen plant as itโ€™s mentioned in the NGT guidelines.

No one can set up oxygen plant in delhi it's clearly mentioned in NGT guidelines, because of high pollution

Delhi can't have oxygen plants bcoz of National Green Tribunal ruling.
Existing oxygen plants hatwa diye the is rule k wajah se to ab Delhi produce nahi karta.
Har state ko Oxygen supply karne ka responsibility center ka hai.

Itโ€™s sad that people have been mocking the entire situation. Itโ€™s not the time to blame and point fingers at anyone because the entire system failed not just any state government for that matter.

Itโ€™s high time that all the state governments should keep their political vendettas aside and focus on how to deal with the pandemic thatโ€™s crushing everyone in the country.
