The Congress Toolkit controversy is now really becoming an issue of serious conflict between the Indian government and the social media giants Twitter.

The Indian government defended the move and said that it was the third notice that had been sent to Twitter.

"Instead of cooperating with law enforcement, Twitter has tried to play the victim by mischievously overplaying a routine procedure this time," said government sources.

Soon after the incident, the internet was flooded with messages of "Ban Twitter In India", with many people calling for the ban of the microblogging site on the site itself.

Soon, the "Ban Twitter In India" hashtag was the most trending thing on Twitter with around 45,000 tweets. However, with people calling for the ban of the site on the platform itself, the other side of social media responded with a meme fest.
