We speak for everyone when we say our whole day is spent scrolling social media apps like Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. It has been our only saviour in the lockdown.

Apart from staying connected to our loved ones, keeping up with what’s happening in the world and voicing your opinions, these apps are the ultimate way to pass time post work and unwind.

We are the generation that cannot survive without the internet and absolutely cannot spend a day without using these apps.

So obviously, when the central government announced that these platforms may face a ban if they don’t comply to the revised intermediary guidelines, netizens used memes to show their apprehension.

Some believed that now without Twitter and Facebook, the youth will move to other social media apps like Telegram, Snapchat and KOO (Indian version of Twitter), which are often ignored by us. KOO has reportedly agreed to the new IT rules, BTW.
