Shirtless Navdeep Saini’s Video Of Doing A Harley Davidson Burnout Gets Eco-Warrior-Backlash

Indian cricketer Navdeep Saini recently shared a video of him sitting on a Harley Davidson while doing a 1990’s classic burnout with the bike’s rear tyre, while pulling a 1990’s classic rockstar attire - going shirtless.

In the video, the Team India pacer could be seen bare-chested and in the middle of field, covered in a cloud of dust within seconds of throttling on his ride’s engine and letting the machine create all the mess around him.

And regardless of the fact that the 28-year old has one of the best athletic bodies among the Men in Blue, he ended up receiving some negative and outright brutal comments on the micro-blogging website as the trolls had themselves a field day.

Harley Davidson ki izzat khatam kar di. Harley chalane ke liye personality chahiye, kabootar nahi.

Then there were the ‘eco-friendly warriors’ who slammed him for polluting the environment by suspending dust in the air just to get a randy video for the social media. It was also a sarcastic dig at how a few of the Indian cricketers show their protest against fire-crackers during festivals like Diwali but when it comes to being environmentally conscious, they simply forget their own ‘values’.

Itna dust and pollution 🤲

Yes we expose every bollywood celebrity because they have problem with diwali and firecrackers. Maybe this year diwali he will also tweet just like @imVkohli.
This issue is not related to their commitment towards indian cricket. Both issues are different.

Saini has had a love-hate relationship with the fans of the Indian cricket team for a while now. While his performance and consistency remains a huge topic of discussion in terms of whether a fan likes him or not, his Test cricket debut against the Australians and that too on foreign soil, was received positively by his critics.

The fact that the pacer continued to bowl for his side during the fourth and final match of the Border Gavaskar trophy at the Gabba, despite getting injured on the very first day, also added to his character as a professional cricketer who loved to represent his country at such a grand platform, especially during such a historic cricketing campaign for India.

"Ajinkya bhaiya asked me If I would be able to bowl with the injury, I just had to say yes," Saini told news agency PTI.

"I was fine and suddenly I got injured. I was wondering 'why it is happening in such a crucial game and have got the opportunity to play after a long time'.

"I just wished if could keep going with that injury and support my team. I knew I might not get a stage like that again. Captain asked me if I could do it. I was in pain but said I would do with whatever I could," he added.
