Col Needham, IMDb Founder, and CEO said, “In fact, our #1 user-rated Indian web series of this year, Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story, has been so popular that it landed a top spot on the IMDb list of the Top 250 TV Series of all-time.” With 9.5 ratings, the show has also landed a spot in IMDb’s Top 250 TV series of all time on the 18th spot. It’s an achievement to be celebrated.

In an interview with MensXP, Pratik opened up about the character and if he had any inhibitions about taking up the role of a controversial figure. To which he replied, “No, I was, in fact, very intrigued by his character. It’s not about playing a hero or villain. It’s about creating a character that people think it’s happening right in front of them. My job was to create that experience so that people even after knowing the end want to know what happens next and there’s a sense of curiosity in them. Well, that’s the fun of biopics. I have already played such biographical characters on stage and I genuinely find them interesting. I always love portraying the complexities of human emotions.”
