Aastha Gill worked a regular desk job before she was roped in by singers Badshah and Raftaar for a song called ‘Dhup Chik’ for the movie Fugly in 2014. 

It was her first break in the music industry when she got to sing along with the biggest rapper and music composer at the time.

Gill worked with Badshah several times after that for songs like ‘DJ Wale Babu’ and ‘Buzz’ but it’s evident that they are not just colleagues but share a very special bond.

However, Aastha Gill admitted recently that the bond is that of a brother and sister. 

She confessed to having bro zoned Badshah and Raftaar and says she still regrets it. 

In a radio interview, she said, “Uss time main chhoti thi, mujhe realise nahi hua. Main aaj tak regret karti hoon. (I was young at that time, I didn't realise. I regret it till today.

Gill is currently in Cape Town as one of the contestants of Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 11, competing against Arjun Bijlani, Shweta Tiwari and Nikki Tamboli, Rahul Vaidya, Varun Sood and others. 

She said that she will not repeat the same mistake in KKK and has already a new rule in place, that is she is not making any more brothers on the show. 

“Toh maine Khatron Ke Khiladi mein aake ek bhi bhai nahi banaya. Bohot ho gaya. (So I made sure I did not make anyone in Khatron Ke Khiladi my brother. Enough is enough now),” she said.

When asked if there is any romance brewing between her and any of her co-contestants on the sets of KKK11, she said, “Honestly, I am so bad at this romance-vomance. Kyunki humesha aise bhai wale zone mein reh gayi yaar. Mereko romance karna aata hi nahi hai, flirt karna aata hi nahi hai (Because I always remained this brozone thing with guys. I don't know how to romance, I don't know how to flirt).

However, she is having fun and making memories. She said, “But I have made so many memories. Sabke saath dance-vance khoob kiya maine. Chalo, dance hi kare. Baaki toh mere bas ka kuch bhi nahi hai (I danced a lot with everyone. I thought, ‘Let me at least dance since I am clearly not good at flirting’).
