When it comes to watches in general, men tend to prefer smartwatches that not only look good but offers a luxurious feel. That is why Armani, a brand that has been synonymous with luxury, has now come out with a smartwatch device that runs on Android Wear 2.0.

The smartwatch is called the Emporio Armani Connected and its the company’s first smartwatch which will go on sale this coming September. The device is being manufactured by Fossil, a company that has been designing smartwatches for companies like Diesel, Michael Kors, Skagen and Marc Jacobs. The Emporio Armani Connected will have exclusive watch-faces and will also have eight different straps to compliment the luxurious design of the smartwatch. The smartwatch currently looks like a typical round-faced smartwatch and in terms of specs has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor under the hood.

However, when it comes to fashion brands flirting with the smartwatch segment, one cannot expect a product with high specs, as these brands rely highly on their name alone. The pricing for the Emporio Armani Connected has not even been revealed yet, but we can expect the smartwatch to cost more than other Android Wear products due to the brand’s luxury image.
