It's another sad day in the entertainment world, as actress Mandira Bedi’s Husband Raj Kaushal passed away on Wednesday morning as he suffered a heart attack. 

By the time the family could get help, he had already passed away. 

Raj Kaushal helmed three movies in his career - Pyaar Mein Kabhie Kabhie, Shaadi Ka Ladoo, and Anthony Kaun Hai. 

Kaushal and Mandira Bedi tied the knot in February 1999. The couple welcomed their first child Vir in 2011. Last year, they adopted a daughter, Tara Bedi Kaushal.

Director Onir, who worked with Kaushal on My Brother Nikhil, confirmed his death on his official Twitter account. 

He took to Twitter to inform fans about the tragic news and pay his condolences. He wrote, "Gone too soon. We lost Filmmaker and Producer @rajkaushal1 this morning. Very Sad. He was one of the producers of my first film #MyBrotherNikhil. One of those few who believed in our vision and supported us. Prayers for his soul.”

His family friend and actor Rohit Roy also confirmed it to news agency PTI. “He passed away today morning, at around 4.30 am at his home. He had a heart attack," Roy said. 

Roy also penned a long and emotional message for Raj. “He’s gone without saying goodbye... too numb with grief and shock to react... See you on the other side, my bro... Rest In Peace.”

TV and film personality Roshan Abbas wrote, “Heard the terrible news about @rajkaushal1. May your Jar of Hope always be filled in the afterlife as it was here. I will miss you terribly. Strength to the family and friends.”
