The internet can sometimes be a cruel place for anybody who is a celebrity and lives in the public eye. The latest celebrity to become prey to internet trolls and bullies on social media is none other than Dangal actress Fatima Sana Sheikh. She is currently trending on Twitter and one look at the hashtag and the tweets that follow will make you question the sanity of people who are basically keyboard fighters pelting out nonsense on literally anything. As we all are well aware that earlier today, actor Aamir Khan and his director wife Kiran Rao announced their divorce with mutual consent and issued a joint statement regarding the same. Soon after, Fatima’s name is being dragged in this matter and people are mocking her for it.

The idea of pointing out this toxic internet culture is simple. We are a part of the generation that can use this internet to be heard and to make a change. While there is no dearth of trolling and for every positive person, there are a million negative people waiting to shoot down that positively, let's just not stop advocating maturity. Lets try and shut down people who go beyond an expected line of humour to attack a person’s image , simply because they are a celebrity.  Fatima and Aamir have been linked-up in the past and she has often spoken about the baseless nature of this claim. Let's be more sensible and not demark someone’s name in the name of entertainment.
