‘Left Wives & Kids, In Search Of 3rd Wife’: BJP MP Attacks Aamir Khan & Fans Are Fuming

Whether it was Anushka Sharma being blamed for Team India's loss, Rhea Chakraborty for allegedly being involved in actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death or Bollywood films being blamed for promoting ‘rape culture’ in the country, seems like one thing that the people are mighty great at, is blaming just about anybody for anything wrong that happens in the country.

And we say this after yet another instance where a political leader has decided to point fingers at actor Aamir Khan and his personal choice to separate from his wife, as the reason for 'population imbalance' in India.

Apparently, the two are connected...

This statement came from BJP MP Sudhir Gupta from Mandsaur who went ahead to blame ‘people like Aamir Khan’ for the disparity in the growing population of our country.

He was quoted saying, “Talking in Indian perspective, it is Aamir Khan, whose first wife Reena with two kids and second wife Kiran Rao with one kid, has been left to wander around by him who is unbothered and has started the search for the third wife.”

He went on to question, “Is this India's message to the world?” As he said, “It’s unfortunate that people like Aamir Khan have a role to play behind population imbalance in the country.”

Once again, it is baffling to see just how conveniently the very leaders of our country are willing to play the blame-game, by not just promoting stereotypes but also looking down upon people who choose to live life on their own terms. Especially celebrities who are often in the limelight and have to bear the brunt of being accused of things they didn’t do.

The BJP MP's comments have come in after the announcement of the Population Control Bill in UP by CM Yogi Adityanath who plans on controlling the growth rate of population in the state.

Meanwhile, here is how the netizens are reacting to Sudhir Gupta’s comments on Twitter -

BJP MP and side actor Ravi Kishan can have 4 children but, how dare Aamir khan has 4 children? Doesn't Aamir know that, this is New India 2.0?🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️
