When you have someone as crazy as Venom as your protagonist, it only makes sense to get someone even crazier to be the antagonist, right? Well, that's Carnage for you. He's sort of like Venom, but much worse.

The only previous outing for Venom on the big screen was in the forgettable Spider-man 3 which came out in 2007. While Topher Grace is in no way a bad actor, there were too many problems in that movie and we're counting on Tom Hardy to right all the wrongs. And when you have someone as formidable as Tom Hardy playing Venom you can only imagine how crazy the actor you get for Carnage would have to be. Leave your picks in the comments.

While there is no news yet of whether Tom Holland will be making an appearance in this movie or not (Sony and Marvel need to get their shit together!) we now know that Carnage will be in the movie as confirmed by Hollywood Reporter.

Carnage is easily one of Spider-man's most formidable foes and it won't be right if Venom puts him down singlehandedly. That's why we believe Spider-man should make an appearance here. Or at least some other superheroes should.

'Venom' is set for a big screen release on the 5th of October 2018 while 'Spiderman: Homecoming' will be in theatres on the 7th of July 2017. Keep an eye out for any mentions of Venom or Carnage in there.
