The porn case involving Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra seems to be getting murkier by the day. The actor is in custody until tomorrow and is undergoing rigorous interrogation. He has been arrested for being involved in making pornographic content and selling it on paid apps.

The latest details consolidated after his Whatsapp chats were revealed explain how he had a backup plan for selling porn films after the apps made by his company were taken off by Apple and Google. The crime branch raided one of his properties and retrieved the server and over 70 porn films which were shot by his PA.

His bank accounts with money worth Rs 7.5 crores have been seized and the server has been sent to forensics to determine whether this server was used to upload porn content on his UK-based company’s site.

As per reports, the information found in the agreement papers, subscription details, emails, WhatsApp chats, etc. infer a backup plan of launching a private OTT type channel for uploading porn.

This plan also included launching a new app for continuing this illegal business. Once the hearing concludes, things would probably get clearer. Till then, with the proof that the crime branch has gathered, this looks like it's more complicated than we thought.
