We have seen many actors do various things to get into their characters properly. From gaining weight to losing weight to shaving their heads, actors leave no stone unturned to get into the skin of the role. 

The latest actor to join the bandwagon is Ayushmann Khurrana, who will soon be seen essaying the role of a cross-functional athlete in the film Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, directed by Abhishek Kapoor. 

The actor will be seen dabbling with freestyle weightlifting and freestyle wrestling, and to ace the role even more, the actor learned the nuances of both activities. 

Ayushmann also bulked up for his role to get the perfect physique in order to portray the role accurately. He also gained around 10kgs muscle weight, which is no easy feat.

Ayushmann followed CrossFit and Olympic weightlifting as he worked on his body, as he will also be seen donning six-pack abs in the film. 

According to reports, many national-level players of wrestling and weightlifting were hired and are a part of the cast, as the two games form the backdrop of the narrative.

The film was shot in October last year over a couple of months in a start to end schedule.
