NCB Raids Shah Rukh Khan’s Home ‘Mannat’ Right After He Visits Son Aryan In Jail

In a development that no one saw coming, NCB officials on Thursday decided to raid Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's home Mannar, with the incident taking place right after the actor was spotted visiting his son Aryan in jail.

As per reports, multiple teams of the Narcotics Control Bureau reached SRK's Bandra residence after apparently receiving some fresh information in the Aryan Khan cruise ship drug case.

It is reported that even Bollywood actress Ananya Pandey's Mumbai house was raided in connection with the case.

Earlier on Thursday, Shah Rukh was spotted visiting Aryan at the Arthur Road Jail following the bail denial a day prior in the cruise ship drugs case.

SRK, who has for a long time cemented his status as one of Bollywood's biggest actors, has, in a way, been brought down to his knees by the case developed by the NCB against his son Aryan for the consumption of drugs.

So far, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all physical meetings at the jail had been prohibited, however, just after the curbs ended on Wednesday, SRK made sure to visit the jail in order to meet his eldest son, who has been behind bars since October 8.

As per reports, SRK's meeting with Aryan lasted for about 16 to 18 minutes in the visitation section.

The duo met while being separated by a glass partition between them with the conversation being over the intercom available at the jail.

At the time of the meeting, the prison authorities were said to present around them.

The meeting between SRK and his 23-year-old in jail is said to be the first meeting since he was arrested by NCB on October 2.

Aryan was denied bail yet again on Wednesday following which the star kid has now approached the Bombay High Court to seek bail in the case.

At the time the application for bail was rejected by the court, Judge VV Patil held that prima facie there is evidence against him.

He wrote as to how even though Aryan was not found in possession of the drugs, he was good friends with Arbaaz Merchant and that they had both travelled together to the International Cruise Terminal on the day of the raid.

Patil said both friends spoke about drugs, meaning that Aryan knew about the contraband.

All eyes are now on the result of the raid by the NCB at Mannat.
