Katrina Kaif, who is currently among the most successful Bollywood actresses, made her acting debut with Kaizad Gustad's Boom in 2003.
While the film flopped at the box office, she continued working hard and Namastey London (2007) proved to be a turning point in her career.
Starring Akshay Kumar as the male lead, the film turned out to be a huge success and Katrina too received positive reviews for her performance in it.

However, did you know that the actress was ready to quit acting before the release of Namastey London? Yes, you read that right! Reportedly, she watched the film before its release and felt that it would be a disaster.
Recalling the same on Koffee With Karan a few years ago, the Race star had said, "When I saw the film, I was terrified. Vipul (Amrutlal Shah, director) showed it to me and said, ‘What do you think?’ I didn’t call him back. You know, when a director shows the actress a film, you have to give him feedback. I took off home, shut the door and didn’t give him a call".
Vipul's assistant later called her, saying the filmmaker was upset that she had not given her feedback. "I called him and I said, ‘Hi Vipul.’ He asked, ‘What do you think?’ I said, 'Nice, very nice film. Okay, bye'," she added.
Katrina thought Namastey London would be the end of her acting career. She stated, "I just saw too much of me in the film and you start believing what people say. I was like, 'No, no, no, people can’t see me in a film, they won’t watch the film, it’s a disaster. This is over, my life is over.' I was like, 'I am packing my bags and I am going to find a new career'".
But, fate had other plans and the film gave Katrina's career a new lease of life.
After its release, Namastey London got critical as well as commercial success. Talking about the positive response, she further said, "That was really nice, it was really important for me because I think it did change people’s perception. It was the first time I got so many calls even from the industry, from directors saying, ‘I think you did pretty well in the movie".
After Namastey London, Katrina went on to deliver consecutive hits like Apne, Partner, Welcome, Race, and Singh Is Kinng. Initially, she was considered just a pretty face, however, with films like New York, Rajneeti, and Zero, the actress proved that she can act too.
On the career front, Katrina was last seen in Rohit Shetty's Sooryavanshi which turned out to be the first big Bollywood hit after the theatres reopened amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Her current lineup includes Phone Bhoot, Merry Christmas, Tiger 3, and Jee Le Zara.

Bollywood's self-proclaimed critic Kamaal R Khan AKA KRK has lauded SS Rajamouli's latest film 'RRR' by calling it the worst film in Indian history.

As you might know, KRK has a habit of doing movie reviews that span almost all films that are made inside India.

Well, the former actor doesn't have nice things to say about most of the movies and uses his review space to take digs at a lot of the movie stars.

Not only that, the phrases that he uses are often considered nasty when you hear them, making you wonder whether KRK really is scared of something in the world or not.
The Deshdrohi actor has already come up against Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in the past, but that hasn't stopped him from going ahead with his reviews, with RRR being the latest victim.

While carrying out the review on his Youtube channel, KRK called the movie a "full-time south Masala film without head and feet".

Here are some of his tweets about the movie that stars Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Jr. NTR, and Ram Charan.

“Film #RRR is a full time south Masala film without head and feet. It’s interval of #RRR! Raja Mauli Sahab, Kuch Zyada Hi Chutiyapa Nahi Ho Gaya? Kuch Toh Limit Honi Chahiye Sir. Matlab Aap Toh unlimited Par Utar Aaye Sir.” he wrote in his tweet.

Well, this was just the beginning of a series of tweets.
Sir @ssrajamouli your film #RRR has become a disaster in South also. So how are you feeling now? Do you accept that #RRR is the most Wahiyat film in the history of Indian cinema? Pls note, You can’t become great by buying Taran Adarsh 4*. You can become great by your work only.

From my point of view, Director Association of Telugu film directors should revoke the membership card of @ssrajamouli for making the most Wahiyat film like #RRR and wasting Rs.600 crore of the producer.

Not just this, KRK even attacked Ajay Devgn in his tweet.
Dear @ajaydevgn you should feel ashamed for doing 2 scenes in such a Waahiyat film like #RRR while you are pride of Hindi films. By doing this, you have insulted Bollywood and Hindi films. @ssrajamouli

After watching film #Baahubali2 and #RRR I can say that when logic finishes, then @ssrajamouli logic starts. Means he is simply the worst director in India.

While KRK sure didn't like RRR, there are a lot of people who did, with many labeling the movie as a cinematic spectacle.

Shane Warne passed away earlier this month (March 4) due to a suspected heart attack while on vacation in Thailand. The former Australian spinner broke many records on the field in international cricket and he is the second-highest wicket-taker in Test cricket with 708 wickets. The spin wizard is only behind Sri Lanka's Muttiah Muralitharan who has 800 Test wickets next to his name.
While Warne was a match-winner in international cricket, he tasted success in his first stint as captain of a franchise. In 2008, Warne led Rajasthan Royals to glory in the inaugural edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Warne did not have any big names like other franchises in his first stint with Rajasthan Royals but he turned youngsters like Ravindra Jadeja and Yusuf Pathan into match winners.
Recently, former members of RR's IPL-winning squad paid their tributes to the legendary bowler and shared some interesting anecdotes.
Recalling an incident, Pakistan wicket-keeper batter Kamran Akmal revealed how captain Warne 'punished' tardy Ravindra Jadeja and Yusuf Pathan for arriving late at the team bus.

"Yusuf Pathan and Ravindra Jadeja arrived a bit late for the team bus. He (Warne) didn't say anything (at that time). Even I was a bit late, he didn't say anything to me because I joined the team a little late," the Pakistan keeper said on 'Tribute to Shane Warne IPL Documentary'.
Akmal further added that after the practice, Warne asked the driver to stop the bus and asked both players to walk back to the team hotel.
"So, we were done with practice and we left the stadium. When we were returning, he asked the driver to stop the bus. Then he turned towards the two and said 'come on foot'," Akmal added.
Whenever Ravindra Jadeja's skill sets were questioned he upped his game, be it proving he does not need turners to win matches to showing he can bat against the best in seaming conditions.#RavindraJadeja

Warne lived his life king size off the field but whenever he stepped foot on the field, he went about his business professionally and his records speaks volumes about his professionalism and passion towards the game.
It was Warne who first spotted the potential in Jadeja and labelled him as 'rockstar'. The all-rounder repaid Warne's faith as he is currently the number one all-rounder in Test cricket.
