Russia is in a lot of trouble these days.
I mean, one can start from the zillion sanctions that have been imposed on them by so many global nations. Not just that, President Vladimir Putin remains the undesirable number one person in the world at the moment for waging war on Ukraine.
© Reuters
There have been so many lives lost due to Putin's decision to attack Ukraine that Russia has literally been left isolated by everyone.
This includes international companies and organizations.
This also includes Hollywood as well, which has gone ahead with the decision to limit film sales in the country. As per reports, leading Hollywood studios announced the suspension of new releases in the country, with Russian cinema networks now choosing to show Bollywood blockbusters and movies from other Asian, Latin American countries.
Now, it is said that Bollywood films are already popular in the region and according to Olga Zinyakova, president of the Karo cinema chain, people in the country have lined up to watch Bollywood movies.
© Netflix
"People used to line up to see Bollywood in cinemas, so there is interest in these movies,” said Zinyakova.
Now, there is one Indian movie that is really being appreciated in the country, and it stars a very famous South Indian superstar actor.
The movie is none other than the recently-released film Radhe Shyam featuring Baahubali star Prabhas.
© AA Films
As you know, Prabhas is one of the highest-paid actors in India, and his movies are watched religiously by fans.
Now, according to reports, the screening of his Radhe Shyaam was such a big success that it brought sold-out houses. That's quite a feat if we are to take into consideration the popularity of Indian movies outside the country.
Starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde in lead roles, Radhe Shyam involves Prabhas playing the role of a palm reader with the movie revolving around the mystery of time and a war between love and destiny.
Well, while the movie has gotten mixed reactions in the country, especially during the time of the release of Kashmir Files, it's good to know that the movie is doing so well in Russia.

Emraan Hashmi, who was last seen in Dybbuk, is known as a hardworking actor who shines in whatever movie he stars in.
Besides delivering strong performances, he also got the tag of Bollywood's 'serial kisser' due to the multiple kissing scenes in his films. He got this tag post the release of Murder in 2004.
Featuring Mallika Sherawat as the female lead, the erotic thriller was a huge hit and is considered a turning point in the actor's career.

However, did you know that his wife Praveen got angry after watching Murder?
Well, she wasn't aware of Emraan's intimate scenes in the film and watched it directly at the premiere. After seeing his hot scenes with Mallika, she blasted the actor for not informing her in advance.
Revealing the incident on Koffee With Karan a few years ago, the Dirty Picture star said, "In the first seat my wife digging her nails into my hand like ‘what the hell have you done and you haven’t prepared me for this and what are you doing because this is not Bollywood’. When the hands came off, there were four jabs… I was injured…I was bleeding".
On the chat show, Emraan also admitted that his wife hasn't fully accepted this aspect of his professional life, but they've come to an agreement.
"She hasn't accepted it. We have hit a common ground. Right now there is a deal that we have…The deal is I take her shopping and she probably swipes the card close to seven-digit numbers," he added.
Well, that's interesting!

On the career front, the actor will next be seen playing the main antagonist in Tiger 3.
Featuring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles, the third instalment in the Tiger franchise is among the most-awaited Bollywood films. It is slated to hit the theatres on the occasion of Eid, next year.
Besides Tiger 3, Emraan also has Selfiee in his kitty alongside Akshay Kumar.
Backed by Karan Johar, it is the official Hindi remake of the Malayalam movie Driving Licence and will be helmed by Good Newwz fame Raj Mehta. Nushrratt Bharuccha and Diana Penty are the film's leading ladies.

Director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri is currently basking in the historic success of his latest release, The Kashmiri Files.
Based on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits during the Kashmir insurgency in 1990, the film is getting appreciation from all quarters.
It is getting praises for the heart-wrenching storyline and strong performances of Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Darshan Kumar among other cast members.

Besides all the love pouring in, The Kashmir Files is also making headlines due to a slew of controversies.
Well, Agnihotri has now courted another controversy with his remarks on Bhopalis (people from Bhopal).
A video has now surfaced on the internet in which the director can be heard saying that Bhopalis are assumed to be homosexuals. Yes, you read that right!
View this post on Instagram
In the interview clip, he says, "I am from Bhopal, but I do not call myself a Bhopali because that carries a certain connotation. If someone calls himself a Bhopali, it generally means that person is a homosexual.. someone with 'nawabi' fantasies".
Watch it below:
Interestingly, the clip went viral on social media just before his visit to Bhopal to participate in a film festival organised by RSS associate Chitra Bharti.
For obvious reasons, Bhopalis have raised objections over the director's statement.
Digvijaya Singh, the senior Congress leader, has called out Agnihotri for his controversial remarks.
(Vivek Agnihotri ji, this could be your experience, but not that of the Bhopal citizens. I have been in Bhopal and with the people of people since 77, but I never had this experience. Wherever you stay, there's always an influence of the company you keep)".

A scene from Anil Kapoor’s hit movie, Nayak, was recreated recently on the streets of Delhi when an AAP corporator, Hasib Al Hassan took a milk bath after he got drenched in gutter water.
The backstory is that he jumped into an overflowing sewage drain in Shastri Park, East Delhi, and was chest-deep in the gutter to clean it.
© Twitter/Prashant Kumar
This is a normal day in the lives of all sewage cleaners that clean the drains on a regular basis but no one offers to pour water on them, let alone milk.
However, buckets of milk were poured on Hassan by his supporters to clean him up right there on the road.
The whole incident was recorded and shared on social media. The video has been going viral.
Watch the video here.
Drama peaks as #MCDElections2022 come closer, #AAP corporator turns Anil Kapoor from Bollywood movie Nayak.

People on social media aren’t happy with this ‘filmy’ act and are rather calling it ‘a drama’ or election gimmick. They also mentioned how they wasted litres and litres of milk which they could have donated to poor families and kids instead.

See the reactions from people who are furious over this irresponsible act.
Seriously, what is wrong with our politicians? Kaam karo na, bhai. Itna drama karne ka kya zaroorat hain.
— RamBharose (@EkChamat) March 23, 2022Please stop copying movies. Nobody cares if hero does it in movies as it would not been real milk. In reality he wasted milk in country like India. We all appreciate his work in his constituency. But milk bath is ridiculous. In India 20% people are sleeping with empty stomach.
— CSK Fan (@bostoniancskfan) March 23, 2022this milk would have fed so many poor children. why waste on an actor, oops, politician. he could have taken a bath with water. https://t.co/1xdjelFLd8
— Boycott Bollywood & Cricket (@Deepa_Sinha06) March 23, 2022Nautanki ke chakkar me itna sara doodh waste kar diya.
— Pinky (@pinkythename) March 22, 2022What kind of nonsense is this https://t.co/mdZ3oq38mN
— Madhu Thukral (@thukral_madhu) March 23, 2022 While jumping in the drain (a publicity stunt or not) was commendable since at least the AAP councillor took the matter into his own hands and cleaned it himself, wasting milk like this is not justified, especially for a leader.
What was wrong with taking a bath with water? Why waste so much milk when so many people in India sleep in hunger?
© Twitter
We hope this doesn’t become a trend for the politicians to take a milk bath whenever they are on a mission clean-up. This needs to be discouraged.
