Pakistan Cricket Captain Babar Azam scored an unbeaten century in the ongoing Test match between Pakistan and Australia at the National Stadium, Karachi. Indian spin great Ravichandran Ashwin has praised Babar for his fighting ton.
This is Babar’s 6th Test century and has come at a crucial moment when Pakistan is facing a huge target of 506 runs in the second innings of the 2nd Test.

The home team fell into a precarious situation when they lost 2 wickets at a paltry total of 21 and were staring at an impending defeat. Babar along with his younger colleague Abdullah Shafique decided to fight back. Both the batters kept their nerves and stitched a super comeback. Both remained unbeaten till the end of day 4 when the score showed 192/2. Stylish Babar Azam completed his 6th Test ton and will continue his onwards journey on the last day of the match.
Ravichandran Ashwin who after finishing a complete whitewash against Sri Lanka, is relaxing and closely following the Pakistan vs Australia match, found Babar’s show highly impressive and hailed the stylish right-hander for his fighting hundred. As a result of his performance,  Ashwin now thinks that the match would have an interesting Day 5 with all three results possible. “Babar Azam, going to be an exciting finish tomorrow. #PAKVAUS” tweeted Ashwin.
Babar Azam , going to be an exciting finish tomorrow. #PAKvAUS

Cricket fans from both sides of the India-Pakistan border reacted to Ashwin’s tweet with warmth and affection:
4th innings Mai century always special hota hai

    — Shah (@shezanmangopapi) March 16, 2022Reacting to Ashwin’s tweet, the former Pakistan captain and ace wicket-keeper Rashid Lateef expressed on his YouTube channel the gratitude he felt for Ashwin for showing his honest appreciation for another cricketer of the rival team. Rashid said “I always find Ashwin opening his heart and genuinely appreciating players from other teams too. That makes him so lovable even in Pakistan.”
Rashid lauded the fighting performance put up by Babar. He termed Babar’s this hundred as the most valuable Test knock as it came under severe pressure. Rashid felt that this time Babar really played a captain’s knock. He had complete composure and controlled and timed his shots superbly. He patiently waited for the ball to soften up before going for big hits. Rashid also hailed Abdullah who supported Babar with equal patience and build an unbeaten partnership of 171 runs.

After stumps, Babar spoke about his mindset of entering the field with a big target on board. “This knock means a lot to me, the team needed it. Fortunately, I have managed to good partnership with Shafique. The match is not over yet, so we need to continue playing in the same way, and other batters also need to step up.” Said Babar.
Pakistan batters will resume their innings on the last day with a goal of reaching the remaining 314 runs in the 90 overs with 8 wickets in hand. Australia bowling attack would like to take advantage of the cracks of the Day 5 pitch. Whatever the end result may be, this is going to be a sure shot entertainer.

With the passage of time, cricket has progressed beyond the boundary ropes, with the communication gap between players and fans virtually disappearing. People can contact the athletes personally and have wonderful, meaningful talks with them, which can lead to a greater relationship between the two parties.
Unfortunately, the inverse is also true, and individuals can be exceedingly cruel to players for no apparent reason, all in an attempt to embarrass them and cast them in a bad light in front of the rest of the world.

However, if you have the sense of humour and straightforwardness of New Zealand all-rounder James alias Jimmy Neesham, you can get yourself out of sticky circumstances while leaving the rest of your fans smiling.
Recently ESPNcricInfo asked their Twitter followers for their thoughts on the new rule that the Indian Premier League has decided to set in motion ahead of the 2022 edition of the league. This new regulation suggests that the new man will be facing the first ball, even if the catch was taken after the batters crossed each other on the pitch.
I don’t really understand the point of this. Has this rule ever been a problem? Also rewards batsmen who don’t stay aware of the match situation.

    Don’t like it. https://t.co/6yPsHjFNSk
    — Jimmy Neesham (@JimmyNeesh) March 16, 2022
Neesham responded to the tweet expressing how he felt about the new rule and suggested that he was not a fan of it. He asked if the old rule was ever a problem or a cause of concern for the players or the officials of the game in any shape or form and that it also rewards batters who aren’t aware of the situation of the match.
Despite a completely rational way of thinking and clearly explaining his thoughts when specifically asked to, an Indian cricket fan, on Wednesday, told Neesham that no one cared about his views, regardless of whether the Kiwi liked it or not.
Like it or not, nobody cares ur opinion
    — Pujari (@malappapujari44) March 16, 2022
Neesham, who has 336.2k followers on the micro-blogging platform, ended up responding to him. The cricketer exposed the hater's complete idiocy by revealing that he was following him on Twitter and ended up posting something unpleasant just to get some attention from the international player.
You follow me… you actively seek out my opinion. https://t.co/HiBDDYGWvp
    — Jimmy Neesham (@JimmyNeesh) March 16, 2022
Ever since the New Zealand cricketer responded to the hater’s comments, other Indian cricket fans have also gotten on top of his case and are letting him know exactly how much Neesham’s opinions, especially on cricketing issues matter to them.
This isn’t the first time Neesham has had to deal with a rude Indian cricket fan. A couple of years ago, for instance, the Kiwi cricketer was asked why he had “so few followers” on his Twitter handle (Neesham had 236.2k followers at the time) and the cricketer had responded with nothing but class and common sense.

Suresh Raina and Ravi Shastri will serve as commentators for the Indian Premier League (IPL) this season. Raina will not be playing in the cash-rich league for the first time after going unsold in the mega auction held earlier this year in February.
Despite several of the overseas players withdrawing or being ruled out of the tournament for various reasons way before they were supposed to enter the bio-bubble, the ‘Chinna Thala’ has not been named as a substitute by any of the teams.

During the playoff round of the 2021 edition of the IPL, Raina was dropped from the Playing XI of the Chennai Super Kings ahead of their match against Rishabh Pant’s Delhi Capitals and skipper MS Dhoni had said that Raina was removed from the squad because of a “niggle”.

Ravi Shastri, on the other hand, did not stay on as India's head coach following the T20 World Cup last year. One of the two new teams apparently sought him for a coaching position ahead of the IPL, but it appears that things did not go as planned.
Ravi Shastri and Suresh Raina will be commentating in IPL 2022. (Reported by Dainik Jagran).
    — Mufaddal Vohra (@mufaddal_vohra) March 15, 2022
However, Shastri will make his first appearance as a commentator since being named India's head coach in 2017. Suresh Raina and Ravi Shastri will both be part of the lucrative league's Hindi commentary crew. Interestingly, this will be a new job for the latter, who spent his post-cricketing career largely commentating on the game in English.
While everyone knew Raina wouldn't be playing in the IPL this year, an IPL source informed Dainik Jagran that the league still wanted to associate him with the competition. He has a sizable fan base, and there's a reason he's dubbed "Mr IPL."
After the T20 world cup, knew that Ravi Shastri will be joining the commentary box soon but didn't knew that Suresh Raina too will. Been unsold for the very first time Mr. IPL will be seen in the commentary box this time.

Shastri was a member of the Star Sports English commentary team. However, after becoming India's head coach in 2017, he stopped commentating following the Champions Trophy final in 2017.
The fans of Indian cricket and the Indian Premier League had mixed feelings about Raina becoming the voice of the league this season and aren’t too sure about how well would the southpaw do with the microphone:
Shastri, a surprise.. Didn't expect Raina..
    Miss him on the field..

    — AN (@ajith27) March 15, 2022Furthermore, it has been claimed that Ravi Shastri is receiving Hindi lessons from an expert on Zoom and has been practising commentary ahead of the season. His return to commentary, albeit in a different language, will undoubtedly be invigorating for IPL 2022 viewers.

Pictures from the sets of Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film Pathaan have been leaked. Currently being shot in Spain, these pictures give a clear look into the nearly unbelievable transformation that SRK has managed to achieve.
It’s not just the excitement of the upcoming film that has fans excited. Shah Rukh Khan’s enviable 8-pack abs, as seen in the leaked images, are also sending users on social media into excitement.

From looking at the picture, one can also see that Shah Rukh’s choice of hairstyle for the film would be longer. Happily shirtless (and why shouldn’t he be?), Khan, can be seen holding a beam over his head.

Some of the fans have been waxing lyrical over these leaked images, with compliments ranging from sheer disbelief to appreciation for his natural-non-CGI abs.
One wrote, “Damnnnn,” while another admitted, “At least this man's got natural abs, no CGI.”
This particular fan expressed his admiration for the man called King Khan, by saying, “That’s why he is the king. huge respect for the man," and finally another echoed a similar sentiment, "King is back...srk."

This wouldn’t be the first time that Shah Rukh Khan has gone the extra mile when it comes to a body transformation.

Despite being one of his most forgettable films, 2014’s Happy New Year, had sent the public into a collective meltdown after promotional material for the film showed a shirtless Khan show off his absolutely shredded 8-pack abs.
Deepika Padukone was also seen in one of the leaked images, wrapped in an orange jacket, with mid-length hair that was styled wavily.
According to a report by India Today, Shah Rukh Khan has been documenting his overall drastic physical transformation for Pathaan in a behind-the-scenes video series. A source claims, "Shah Rukh has been documenting his physical transition and how he has put on muscles for his role in Pathaan in a behind-the-scenes video series. In Pathaan, you will see him in a well-chiselled look and he will be releasing the BTS series closer to the film's release."
The Pathaan teaser, released earlier this month, showed Deepika Padukone and John Abraham introducing Shah Rukh's character in the film as a man on a mission. He walks out of the shadows in a white shirt and long hair and talks about his love for the country.
With its release scheduled for February 25, 2023, Pathaan is turning out to be one of the hotly anticipated films to come out of Bollywood in recent years.
The movie’s teaser was released earlier last month, with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham SRK’s character as a man on a mission.
What do you think? Are you excited for Pathaan? Do let us know in the comments below.
