The Kashmir Files, the latest release at the box office, has managed to take everyone by a storm with not just the numbers it has been raking up at the box office, but also with what has been shown to the audience, making them weep at the sight of the atrocities that the Kashmiri Pandits had to face back in the 1990s.

Taking us painfully through the turn of events that preceded the exodus of Kashmiri Hindus from the state by ravaging Islamic gangs who murdered, raped and simply chased away nearly half a million Kashmiri Pandits, Vivek Agnihotri opened what seems like a can of tears, as audiences dissolve in heart-break and hard-hitting facts while still in their seats at the theatres.

With an overwhelming response from people, who have claimed to have come back home feeling shook, several people who had witnessed the tragedy with their own eyes, took to Twitter to share their first-hand accounts of watching the movie.

    — Samay Raina (@ReheSamay) March 13, 2022Samaybhai, feel really sorry to see what you people had to go through in your own country. I hope kashmiri pandits gets justice.
    — Vivek (@Topredd) March 13, 2022 A user shared a screenshot of a text message he received from his father, where he wrote, “Abhi film dekh ke aagaye..It was painful for sweety and me to see all this again..we were sobbing and crying..last scene is of vandhama massacre..i was the first journalist to reach there that morning..i saw 23 dead bodies there..wahi scene last wala hai”.
Your father must have gone through very much! I am right now in the cinema hall, writing this in the intermission! First part was haunting, I don't know how the people who have suffered must have felt! But to portray all this in this manner! Kudos to the whole team
    — Swayam (@SwayamSah) March 13, 2022Unfortunately, nothing happened to people who lost everything, till date. Politicians across parties just exploited the same people again & again till date.
    — Nilabja Dey (@Feluda71) March 13, 2022No offense, but exactly what justice mean to you.

Personally I think, whenever these kind of things happen, the best we can do after 30 years is to make sure this never get repeated and people should always remember what can happen when extremists forces are not stopped.
    — Shakil Alam (@itxshakil) March 13, 2022 With almost 8 thousand retweets, several people on Twitter have responded to the tweet saying how it was truly ‘heartbreaking’.
One user wrote, “Your father must have gone through very much! I am right now in the cinema hall, writing this in the intermission! First part was haunting, I don't know how the people who have suffered must have felt! But to portray all this in this manner! Kudos to the whole team.”
As a kasshmiri pandit please adress that not one is promoting that film
Well it does not need any promotion but why no is promoting it
    — Nikunj Jain (@NikunjJ35725500) March 13, 2022
Another Kashmiri Pandit replied to the tweet as he wrote “As a Kashmiri pandit please adress that not one is promoting that film. Well, it does not need any promotion but why no is promoting it.” A question that quite a lot of people wondered.
Infact, in a movie review by Koimoi from a Kashmiri Pandit himself, the writer claims that when he took his mother along to watch the movie, she couldn’t help but relate to the gut-wrenching scenes in the movie that are being called as close as cinema could have come to reality.
Last scene are from Wandhama massacre in 1998. I have watched movie a day back and its not going from my head. All scenes are flashing up, I wonder what our fellow citizens from Kashmir who left their soul and moved must be going through.
    — Roshni Gandhi (@roshshah89) March 13, 2022Samay. I sincerely pray for strength to your family. I am so sorry your family had to go through this. At the same time your previous tweets prove that you are confused and want to fit in circles. I humbly request you to take stance be strong headed in these matters.
    — Adishesh (@Adishesh2) March 13, 2022 Wishing immense support and strength to Kashmiri Pandits out there who have witnessed the monstrosity first hand, users are dropping comments saying, “Last scene are from Wandhama massacre in 1998. I have watched movie a day back and its not going from my head. All scenes are flashing up, I wonder what our fellow citizens from Kashmir who left their soul and moved must be going through.”
I love it that you're speaking your heart out man. **** the cancel culture and the leftist ecosystem pressure. More power to you and your family! God bless, and #JusticeToKPs
    — Prateek Chachra (@ThatReactDev) March 13, 2022
Guess, if simply watching a movie can rock people to their core with such a hard-hitting portrayal of what happened, we can only imagine what those who actually witnessed the genocide actually felt like.

In his young international career, Rishabh Pant has already played some memorable knocks in different parts of the world. The 24-year-old has already become a part of an elite list of Indian batters who have scored a Test century in Australia, England, and South Africa.
It was not long back when he used to get booed by Indian fans for throwing aways his wicket by playing a reckless shot and now those very people shout his name on top of their voice whenever he walks into bat.
    Onwards and upwards! #TeamIndia #INDVsSL#RP17 pic.twitter.com/zfc56u86cl
    — Rishabh Pant (@RishabhPant17) March 14, 2022
Such has been his transformation in the last couple of years that people have already started making tall claims about the southpaw, describing him as the finest Indian wicketkeeper-batter of all-time.

    Rishabh Pant - Night Changes.
So proud of you, @RishabhPant17. pic.twitter.com/ZjQ9s9Nihs
    — Rishabh Daily (@rishabhdaily) March 15, 2022
Some might argue that it’s too early to call him the best Indian wicket-keeper of all-time but given the progress this powerful-hitter has made in the last couple of seasons, even they know that he could very well surpass MS Dhoni’s achievement and etch his name in the record books if he continued on the same path.
The frequency with which @RishabhPant17 produces such knocks is just incredible. Usually if a batter is mercurial he's not consistent. But in Pant we've a mercurial batter who's consistent. World beater! #INDvSL pic.twitter.com/qse2dY0zOz
    — Wasim Jaffer (@WasimJaffer14) March 13, 2022
Former India Test opener Wasim Jaffer is among several people who believe Pant has everything to become the greatest wicketkeeper-batter in the history of Indian cricket.

During an interaction with ESPNCricinfo, the former opener lavished praise on the youngster and said he would only get better from here on. When asked if he could surpass Dhoni’s achievements in the times to come, he answered in affirmation and placed his bet on the left-handed batter to break former Indian skipper’s batting records by the time he retires.

“Yes, he can definitely become a better wicketkeeper-batter than Dhoni. At such a young age, he has already played some of the most incredible knocks so in the coming 8-10 years, I feel he'll be more mature and with more experience he can definitely be a better than Dhoni,” said Jaffer during a Q&A session with.
Not just Jaffer, even the current Indian skipper Rohit Sharma was effusive in his praise of the Delhi Capitals captain’s striking ability. Speaking after the match, the ‘Hitman’ said that Pant was someone who could take the game away from the opposition in just 40 minutes.
    Just Rishabh Pant things pic.twitter.com/LGyh7cgQgR
    — ESPNcricinfo (@ESPNcricinfo) March 13, 2022
“His batting is his batting. We know how he bats and as a team we just want to give him that freedom to bat in the way that he wants to bat. But also keeping in mind certain situations of the game, where the game is going, we have also conveyed that to him, but we want to stick with his game plan as a team. It just seems to get better and get better - his game plans,” Rohit said at the post match presentation.

Is Rishabh Pant the most entertaining batter currently in world cricket?
    — ESPNcricinfo (@ESPNcricinfo) March 15, 2022 “There will be times when you will smash your head and say 'why did he play that shot' but again we need to be ready to accept that with him when he bats. And he is somebody who can change the game in 40 minutes,” said the Indian skipper after guiding India to their first Test series win under his command.

    — Cricbuzz (@cricbuzz) March 14, 2022 Pant might have a long road ahead till he leaves Dhoni behind but in the recent Test series against Sri Lanka he definitely took a step in that direction. On Monday, he became the first Indian wicket-keeper to be adjudged the Player of the Series.
Dhoni, who retired after playing 90 Tests, never got this award in the longest format of the game but his successor managed to do that in just 30 matches.
Although he has just started but looks like he is on the right on path to achieving greatness.

Rohit Sharma made a dream start to his captaincy stint across formats as he won 14 games on the trot since he was announced as Team India captain in all three formats. Rohit replaced Virat Kohli as the skipper and has clean swept New Zealand, the West Indies and Sri Lanka at home.
At home, Rohit's record as captain is astonishing. The opening batter has given youngsters a chance but even the constant changing and chopping has not affected the outcome of the match.

Cricket fans and former cricketers praised Rohit for his leadership skills as India hammered Sri Lanka to sweep the Test series 2-0. However, former India batter Mohammad Kaif's praise for Rohit and head coach Rahul Dravid raised a few eyebrows.
While praising Rohit and Dravid, Kaif downplayed the work done over the years by former skipper Virat Kohli and ex-India coach Ravi Shastri.
How many wins as Test captain, you ask?

Fans did not like the open display of favouritism by a former international cricketer and fumed at Kaif on social media.

    — Aznan Khan (@khan_aznan) March 15, 2022While Rohit has been exceptional as a captain, he has not been challenged much. The 34-year-old is yet to captain the team in overseas conditions and it will be unfair to judge him based on the recent series.
On the other hand, Kohli changed the way India went about their business on foreign shores, especially in Test cricket. Under Kohli, India won its first Test series in Australia and are also 2-1 up against England in a postponed series which will conclude later this year.

Apart from that postponed Test, Rohit's biggest test will be the upcoming T20 World Cup, scheduled to be held in Australia, starting October.
If Rohit can manage to clinch the title, maybe then we can compare his leadership skills with that of Kohli.

Dating in the modern-day age is nothing short of a minefield. With the boom of modern-day dating apps, one really doesn’t know what or who to expect, once you’ve made your interest known.
Alyssa Hodges, 20, and Max Silvy, 25, met up last September for what was supposed to be their fourth date post-matching on Tinder, however, things took a turn for the unexpected as she went into labour.
For many men in the dating pool, seeing someone with a child from a former partner becomes a sticking point. But Max was unfettered about being there for Alyssa, which is why he is being hailed as the ‘Man Of The Year’ by the people of the internet after he supported his Tinder date as she went through with delivering her new-born child.
    © Kennedy News and Media
Max explained why he swiped right on Alyssa, “There was something that caught my eye about Alyssa. Normally I wouldn't swipe right on a pregnant girl, but there was just something about her.

On being there for Alyssa through her pregnancy, he shared, "I wouldn't say the experience was overwhelming but I was anxious. I hadn't prepared mentally the way Alyssa had, so coming in late [like I did] was a rapid process. Anxiety was the biggest thing. There were so many unknowns, so many things that I didn't know about becoming a dad. There's a lot of learning that comes with being a new dad, but me and Ollie are bonding quite well."
Alyssa, opened up about her dating experiences as she said, "I was about six and a half months pregnant when I went on Tinder, and I clearly stated that on my bio. I didn't want to lead anyone on, so I was being open and honest. I wanted them to know what they were getting into right off the bat.”

Then eight-months pregnant, Alyssa had planned to pick up Max from the airport, but she hadn’t accounted for her water breaking so soon, thus she was immediately rushed to the closest hospital. Her Tinder date ended up joining her directly at the hospital, instead of ghosting or abandoning her at such a crucial moment in her life.

Alyssa waxes lyrical about Max, “He hopped into a taxi when he got off the plane and came to the hospital and was there for me. I was contracting for those days and Max was with me the whole time. The birth itself was about seven hours."
    © Kennedy News and Media
She continued, "I felt alone and Max carried me through that week. Every time I couldn't do something, Max picked me up. He's set me up to succeed in motherhood.”

Furthermore, Alyssa opened up about the realities of being a single mother to a child in this world, “These days, there are a lot of unfortunate stories about men who take off when the woman becomes pregnant. Then here's someone who comes in whilst you're pregnant and is very actively involved in raising the child. It's unheard of. I'm very lucky."
Strange times have the power to bring people together in the most unexpected of ways, and that seems to be the case with this couple as well, with Max stepping up and supporting Alyssa through her transition into becoming a mother.
    © Kennedy News and Media
The new mother confessed her feelings for Max, as she said, "Even though I knew I liked him at the time, anything could have happened. I'd just been in a relationship where I thought it would last, and it didn't. So I did think 'What if this doesn't work out?', but it has and it was the best decision. I don't regret it."

The obvious evidence of their incredible bond is the fact the duo are planning to move in together. This gives them more time together as they raise Ollie.
Seemingly impressed by Max, Alyssa added how the people of the internet have been hailing him as the collective’s prince charming, "On TikTok, everybody is asking if Max has a brother, calling him 'man of the year' and saying we were the cutest little family. It was a great reaction.”

The Bollywood film industry is the centre of glamour, money, and a whole lot of other things. This means, that if you're a Bollywood star, you enjoy a lot of insane luxuries there are in the world.
However, in order for one to get that delicious slice of pie, you have to beat the competition as Bollywood truly is one of the most competitive industries in the world.
We already know that there is a lot of competition between top actors and actresses, with many rivalries brewing in the industry.
    © Disney+ Hotstar
However, there is one feud, in particular, that may have slipped under the radar. According to reports, Bollywood actresses Anushka Sharma and Deepika Padukone had one in the past, with Anushka even talking about it.

    © BCCL
As per reports, both of them made news after it was reported that Anushka had slashed her endorsement fee in order to get a deal that had been offered to Deepika.

Well, speaking about it, Anushka had said in an interview:
"There is no comparison between Deepika and me. Nothing links us. We do different kinds of films. In fact, she has done more films. I've been choosy. I have not picked up just about any role that came my way. I don't need to do that (slash my endorsement fee). I have enough brands. And each one of them has renewed the contract, some of them for the third time. I don't think that's happening with other heroines. I must be doing something right." she said.
It was reported that Anushka also revealed the time when Deepika's camp tried to bring her down.
    © Instagram/Deepika Padukone
"A friend of Deepika had called up to say that she is doing Yeh Jawaani Hai Diwani and not Anushka. My ‘friends' don't call, do they? I am Kashyap's and Hirani's choice. She is Ayan's and whosoever's. I never pull anybody down. That makes me nice, right? Stop throwing garbage at me since I don't throw garbage at you. We call ourselves cool but we are actually not. I'm not saying I'm better or worse than X. I am in a damn good position myself. Nobody can take it away from me by deriding me." said Anushka.

Well, it was all in the past, and now, the two megastars seem to maintain a cordial relationship, having progressed in their careers even further.
Deepika was last seen in Gehraiyaan, with the movie getting mixed reviews from fans and critics and Anushka is gearing up for her upcoming sports biopic Chakda Express.

Virat Kohli ended the Test series against Sri Lanka without scoring a half-century in three innings and the former India captain has now played 73 innings without scoring a hundred in international cricket.
Kohli only managed to score 86 runs in three innings in the two-match series that saw his Test batting average dip below 50 for the first time in nearly five years.
The 33-year-old batter last touched the 100-run mark back in 2019 in a day-night Test against Bangladesh in Kolkata.
While new India captain Rohit Sharma and head coach Rahul Dravid are not too bothered with the lack of runs from Kohli's blade, his fans are getting anxious waiting for his 71st century.

Kohli is getting starts but has failed to convert them into a big score. Except for the last Test, where on a dry M Chinnaswamy pitch the ball kept low and turned square, Kohli has got out playing the wrong line and length.
To improve his confidence, Kohli's childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma has asked the India batter to come back to the cricket academy and gain some confidence back.
"Virat will need to come back to his basics. I would definitely want him to come back to the academy. I was thinking about this from yesterday and I am going to talk to him. The kind of confidence that he gets batting in the academy, he needs it,” Rajkumar Sharma said on the Khelneeti podcast.
Kohli's fans who have been waiting with bated breath for him to score a century, too urged his childhood coach to do some magic and help the batter get back to his dominant best.
Yeah sir sure, this is what we want from our ex-Cricketer or Coach to talk to him....but they all are busy somewhere else...Thanks to you Sir https://t.co/MdcjxsO8uA

    — Muzamil (@MuzamilUnique) March 15, 2022 Kohli will be next seen in action in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022, starting in less than two weeks. It will be the first time in nine years that Kohli will play only as a batter in the cash-rich league.
He stepped down from captaincy last year after failing to win the title for the Bengaluru-based franchise. RCB recently appointed Faf du Plessis as their skipper as they look to clinch their maiden IPL title.

After the IPL, the Indian team will travel to Edgbaston to play the postponed fifth Test from the five-match series last year that was postponed due to the Covid outbreak in the Indian camp.
It will be fitting to see Kohli scoring a ton and help India win the Test series in England, a place where he witnessed his worst phase as a batter back in 2014.
