    Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao, who exchanged wedding vows with each other in 2005, shocked everyone by announcing their separation in 2021 after 15 years of marriage. The duo announced the news in July last year in a joint statement citing that they're ending their relationship as husband and wife and will remain co-parents.

    Since then, both Aamir and Kiran have never talked about their divorce. However, months after their separation, the superstar has finally broken his silence and has revealed the reason behind parting ways with Kiran. 
    In an interview with News18, Aamir finally revealed what actually triggered their divorce. He said, "Kiran and I love each other so much. We have a lot of respect and love for one another. But people don’t get this and I accept it because we don’t see it usually. Actually, Kiran and I realised that we like each other so much and consider one another family in the truest sense. Kiran and I are actually families. But our relationship of husband and wife experienced a certain change and we wanted to respect the institution of marriage. However, we are always going to be by each other’s side. We are working together. We live close by. But we are no longer husband and wife and that’s why we decided to call it quits".

    For the unversed, before Kiran, the Lagaan actor was married to Reena Dutta but they ended their relationship in 2002. In the latest interview, Aamir also clarified that he didn't parted ways with Reena because of Kiran. He said, "When Reena and I got separated, there was no one in my life. A lot of people think that Kiran and I met before my divorce from Reena but it’s not true. Kiran and I had met but we didn’t really know each other and we became friends much later".
    Post Aamir's separation from Kiran too, there were speculations that the duo ended their marriage due to the actor's alleged affair with his Dangal co-star Fatima Sana Shaikh. Rumours also suggested that the superstar might announce his third marriage post the release of Laal Singh Chaddha. 
    On being asked if any other relationship was the reason behind his divorce with Kiran, Aamir denied it and added, "No. There was no one back then, there is no one now".

    On the career front, Aamir will next be seen in the official Hindi remake of Tom Hanks' Forrest Gump, titled Laal Singh Chaddha. Directed by Advait Chandan, the much-awaited movie stars Kareena Kapoor Khan as the leading lady. It is slated to hit the theatres on August 11.

    After joining the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) his life changed completely. Not only did he impress in the world’s biggest T20 league but had a dream start to his international career, winning a player of the match award in his debut T20I game.
    Harshal was clearly one of the standout performers for the RCB last season and after a season like that one would expect to get retained by the franchise but the auction dynamics were such that the management couldn’t retain him.

    But they knew what a phenomenal impact he had on the team in the previous edition and they went all out to sign him, splashing a whopping Rs 10.75 crore. Such was his rise that people were not surprised with the crazy amount he got.

    From the huge price tag pressure to how he dealt with the difficult phases in his career when things were not going his way, last year’s Purple Cap winner discussed various things in this exclusive interview with MensXP.

    The 31-year-old also revealed who was the biggest prankster in the RCB dressing room last season and why they are on the lookout for a new character inside the locker room this year.

    They had told me that they will try their best to bring me back into the team.     The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 is less than two weeks away and all the teams have finalised their skippers, with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) being the latest to announce Faf du Plessis as their captain for the upcoming season. Apart from captaincy, another thing that has been catching a lot of attention on social media is the teams' jerseys. 

    Unlike the previous season, this year, a total of 10 teams will participate in IPL. Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants are the two new franchises that will be debuting in the 15th edition of the tournament.

    The shade of turquoise blue did not impress fans much as they brutally trolled the franchise for not working enough on their jersey. 
    Jerseys aside, the form of Gujarat Kings skipper Hardik will be in focus in the 15th edition of the franchise-based league as his return to form will be crucial for India in the upcoming T20 World Cup which is scheduled to be played in Australia later this year.

    After the success of Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa: The Rise, many expected South Indian films to take over Bollywood and soon, a number of pan-Indian films from Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam & Kannada films were announced.
    After the disastrous results of Telugu film Khiladi starring Ravi Teja & Tamil film Valimai starring Ajith Kumar in Hindi, all hopes were pinned on the superstar who started this fad of pan-Indian films and pan-India stardom, Prabhas.

    Post Baahubali films and Saaho, Prabhas returned with the period romantic drama Radhe Shyam. The big-budget love story was released on March 11 and was expected to make a flying start at the box office in its Hindi version as well. 

    Unfortunately, for the makers of Radhe Shyam, the unexpected happened. 
    Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files starring Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher & Darshan Kumar not only received positive reviews but also turned out to be a box office hit. 
    Compared to Radhe Shyam, The Kashmir Files had a small release in just 630 screens and collected well on its opening day, in the same range as the Prabhas starrer. 
    From its second day onwards, it was a one-horse race as the Prabhas starrer was left far behind by the Anupam Kher film. 
    In the first two days of its release, Radhe Shyam failed to grow and collected Rs 9 crore whereas The Kashmir Files earned Rs 12.05 crore. 
    On day 3, The Kashmir Files went into overdrive and collected Rs 15.10 crore taking its three day total to Rs 27.15 crore.

    In comparison, Vivek Agnihotri’s previous release The Tashkent Files, which had turned out to be a surprise hit, collected Rs 17.21 crore in its entire run. The Kashmir Files went past that in less than three days.

    Over its first weekend, it maintained the perfect 10 score, however, earlier today, the rating took a dip and it was alleged that IMDb has reduced it due to “unusual voting activity”. 
    A user pointed it out as he tweeted, “The @IMDb page of #TheKashmirFiles says: "Our rating mechanism has detected unusual voting activity on this title. To preserve the reliability of our rating system, an alternate weighting calculation has been applied". They have themselves dipped the ratings @vivekagnihotri”.

    For years, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) were known as Virat Kohli’s team but come the IPL 2022, it’s gonna change.
    Ahead of the 15th edition of the tournament, the Bengaluru-based franchise has named former CSK star and an IPL veteran Faf du Plessis as their new captain. The announcement was made amid great pomp at the ‘RCB Unbox’ event in Bengaluru.

    Despite having multiple leadership experiences under his belt, including a stint with the South African national team, this would be the first time the Proteas superstar will be leading an IPL franchise.
    And it’s a huge opportunity to showcase his leadership qualities, especially for a player who joined the squad only last month. Given that there are not many overseas captains in the league, he would hope to make the most of the opportunity in the upcoming season, which gets underway on March 26.

    The 37-year-old has taken the leadership baton from Kohli but he still has a major regret going into the season. It has nothing to do with his new role at the franchise but the reason is several years old.
    Actually, du Plessis’ entry in RCB has coincided with the departure of his dear friend AB de Villiers, who hung up his boots last year, depriving a fellow countryman a chance to share the locker room with him in the world’s biggest T20 league.

    Speaking at the press conference at the ‘RCB Bar & Cafe’ this weekend, the new skipper of the Bengaluru-based outfit lamented the fact that he couldn't be a part of the franchise earlier. He further revealed that he and de Villiers always used to speak about playing together for RCB but their wish couldn’t see the light of day.
    “Myself and AB always spoke about it. He said throughout his career it would be nice if I could join him at RCB. So, the timing is obviously not great (because) now that I am here, he has decided to retire. And, also retired three years ago from international cricket,” du Plessis said at the press conference, responding to a question by MensXP.

    “Unfortunately we won’t be playing together. But it’s nice that one friend replaces another one and there’s something nice to that story,” he added.
    Widely regarded as one of the greats of the game, de Villiers’ departure has left a huge void in the RCB middle-order and replacing a player of his quality won’t be easy because he was one-of-a-kind.

    On being probed how they would look to replace someone like ABD, the former South Africa skipper acknowledged that there is no cricketer in the world who can fill in AB’s shoes.

    The right-handed batter even joked that he also has a large shoe size but that's not good enough to match de Villiers’ feet. The RCB skipper said that he is well aware that those shoes are too big to fill and he’s not even gonna try to do that.

    “AB is huge. There is not a cricketer in the world that we are even trying to fill in AB’s shoes. Those shoes are too big. I’ve got big feet but they are never ever gonna match AB’s feet and as I said I won’t try. He’s an absolute great of the game,” he said, speaking lavishing praise on the RCB legend.

    Like Faf said, finding a like-for-like replacement would be asking too much but it also doesn’t mean they can sit tight and wait for things to happen all by itself.

    Among other things, sorting out that middle order gap would be their biggest priority this season. If they can find an answer to that, they will give themselves a strong chance of going deep into the tournament and perhaps even win the trophy that has eluded them for years.
