    It's been around two years since the nation lost a talented star like Sushant Singh Rajput. On June 14, 2020, the actor passed away, leaving a void in the hearts of his fans. Sushant had many interests and his love for astronomy was well-known among his fans. In the late actor's honour, Luna Society International has announced that January 21, 2023, would be dedicated to him. 
    For the unversed, January 21 marks the first new moon of 2023 along with Sushant's birth anniversary. Hence, America's Luna Society has shared that SSR's birth anniversary will be celebrated as Sushant Moon next year. Yes, you read that right!

    The announcement has been made on the official website of America's Luna Society that January 21, 2023, will be the first observance of Sushant Moon. According to the society, Sushant Moon may become an annual event, although not always falling on the first New Moon of the year.

    Earlier this month, Yash Raj Films finally announced the much-awaited Pathaan starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham and broke the internet.

    Ever since Pathaan was announced, Ranveer Singh has been fanboying over it. 

    Recently, the cast of the film flew to Spain to reportedly shoot for the final schedule and now we have an update about it courtesy of Ranveer Singh. 
    A video has been making the rounds of social media and has gone viral where Ranveer talks about the film, its star cast and more. 
    He starts off the video by saying, “My wife’s out of town, she is in Spain shooting for Pathaan, big ol actioner with the King Shah Rukh Khan and sexy sexy John Abraham. She was telling me, ‘My god baby you gotta look at John’s body’ and I was like, ‘Ya, baby I know he’s got one hot bod on him’.“
    He continued, “She is in Mallorca shooting a very glamorous song for Pathaan. I've heard the song. It's amazing. It's Sid Anand and Vishal-Shekhar. You get the vibe. I think Vaibhavi (Merchant) ma'am is shooting the song. So, she is now with Deepika in Spain.”

    He further talked about Deepika’s look in the film and said, “It's exciting because I have the privilege of being her husband so she gives me a sneak peek of how she's looking (rolls his eyes) my god. You guys will have to wait for it man. She's just scorching it. Super fit and super glamorous. Shaleena (Nathani) is styling her. I have seen a sneak peek and it looks like aag lag jayegi screen pe. So that's the wifey update!”

    Directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathaan marks Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback to the big screen after over four years.

    The film will also feature a cameo by Salman Khan as Tiger. It is said to be a part of Yash Raj Films’ Spy Universe also featuring Hrithik Roshan’s Kabir from War.   

    Pathaan is slated for a January 25, 2023 release.

    Back in the ‘60s and ‘70s in the Hindi film industry, there used to be a series of films featuring IS Johar and Mehmood. The two starred together in Johar Mehmood in Goa (1965) & Johar Mehmood in Hong Kong (1971). 
    Besides that, there were two more films in the series titled Johar in Kashmir (1966) & Johar in Bombay (1967).
    Except for the similar-sounding titles and their leads, the films weren’t connected to each other in any way. But, IS Johar and Mehmood used to play themselves in each one of them even though their characters were different. 
    I know it’s a weird analogy but that’s how I equate most of Ryan Reynolds’ filmography especially post Deadpool. Not in terms of the content, of course.

    Irrespective of any character that he portrays, Ryan Reynolds simply plays himself in all his films and interestingly, he somehow still makes it work. 

    Director Shawn Levy’s time travel based sci-fi comedy is no different. It joins the long list of Ryan Reynolds movies like Red Notice, Free Guy, Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard, 6 Underground, Hobbs & Shaw, Detective Pikachu, Deadpool 2, The Hitman’s Bodyguard, Deadpool, RIPD, The Change-Up, Green Lantern, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Blade: Trinity and National Lampoon's Van Wilder… phew.

    I wasn’t a big fan of Shawn Levy and Ryan Reynolds’ previous collaboration, Free Guy, so I went into this movie with low expectations and came out mildly entertained.  

    The film offers nothing new that hasn’t been seen before in the time travel genre but Shawn Levy has packed it with enough punchlines, fast-paced screenplay and a tinge of emotional quotient that makes The Adam Project a decent one-time watch.  
    Even though the script has enough loopholes, the shorter runtime makes up for it.  
    However, the best thing about the film is its star cast and the performances. 
    Ryan Reynolds can ace this character even in his sleep to be honest. His comic timing is perfect and he shines in emotional scenes as well.  
    His chemistry with child actor Walker Scobell is the highlight of the film.

    Mark Ruffalo plays Ryan Reynolds’ father and has minimal screen time but man how good an actor he is. He shows a range of emotions and delivers a heart-warming performance.  

    There is a scene between him and Ryan Reynolds towards the end that is funny as well as emotional.  
    Jennifer Garner and Zoe Saldana get limited screen time and they make the most of it. 
    Despite being a forgettable affair that is inconsistent and is filled with loopholes, The Adam Project is a mediocre entertainer.

    P.S.: I know this urge of film studios to turn everything into a franchise. Neither The Adam Project demands a sequel nor is it worthy of it. So, please don’t, in case you are thinking about it.

    Last week, filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri took to Twitter and claimed that Kapil Sharma refused to invite him and his team of The Kashmir Files for promotions on The Kapil Sharma Show saying the film lacked big stars. 
    Soon after Vivek’s accusation, a section of social media users started calling out Kapil Sharma on Twitter. A few requested him to invite the team, while there were others who demanded the boycott of his show. 
    That’s not all, soon, Salman Khan, who is the producer of the show was also dragged into the controversy and was blamed for Kapil’s alleged refusal.

    Now, days after The Kashmir Files got free publicity on Kapil Sharma’s name, the ace comedian has finally broken his silence. 

    It so happened that singer Palash Sen of Euphoria band took to Twitter to thank Kapil for inviting him to his show. Kapil responded to the tweet and wrote, “Thank you for coming Palash sir I’ve always been your great fan since your first album. it was really pleasure hosting a man with a beautiful voice n golden heart love n regards always #Euphoria”. 
    A social media user dropped a comment under Kapil’s tweet asking him why he didn’t invite The Kashmir Files team on his show and threatened to boycott him.
    The tweet read, “#KashmirFiles को प्रोमोट करने से क्यों घबरा गए कपिल? किस बात का डर था जो #VivekRanjanAgnihotri और उनकी फिल्म की सुप्रतिष्ठित स्टारकास्ट को अपने शो पर आने का न्योता नही दिया?? I used to be a big fan of yours bro, but you have disappointed me and millions of #TKSS fans.Boycotting U”.

    Kapil who had kept his silence all this while finally responded and denied all the allegations levelled against him. He also stated that people shouldn’t believe “one sided story”. 

    The comedian wrote, “यह सच नहीं है rathore साहब आपने पूछा इसलिए बता दिया, बाक़ी जिन्होंने सच मान ही लिया उनको explanation देने का क्या फ़ायदा. Just a suggestion as a experienced social media user:- never believe in one sided story in today’s social media world dhanyawaad. (This isn’t true. Since you asked I responded to you otherwise there is no point in explaining to those who already believe the accusation to be true)”.

    Ever since fast bowler S Sreesanth has announced his retirement from “Indian domestic cricket”, fans have been flocking his social media handles, thanking him for giving them some special memories to cherish for the rest of their lives.
    Whether it was his iconic celebration after dispatching South Africa’s Andre Nel into the stands during the 2006 tour or that famous catch of Misbah-ul-Haq that made India the inaugural T20 world champions in 2007.

    The speedster entertained the fans not only with his incredible seam and swing but also his mannerism, his aggression and his passion for the game.
    However, it was definitely not the end the 39-year-old pacer from Kerala wanted. Having made his comeback after a long ban, he would have definitely loved to play for the national team one last time and retire in India colours. But that wasn’t to be.

    It was not an ideal end to his controversy-laden career but still he and his family members would be mighty pleased with whatever he was able to achieve on the field. Afterall, not many Indian cricketers have won the World Cup twice.
    Sreesanth achieved so many great things on the field but he still left a lot to be desired. But on his retirement, the fans forgot all that and praised him for a wonderful career.

    The Kerala pacer who made his first-class comeback this season after completing his seven-year ban had expressed his desire to make a comeback for the country and complete his century of Test wickets before hanging up his boots.
    Somewhere deep down even he knew that given India’s impressive bench strength in the fast-bowling department, getting the India call-up would be next to impossible for him but still he worked hard on his fitness and was able to return to competitive cricket.
    For the next generation of cricketers..I have chosen to end my first class cricket career. This decision is mine alone, and although I know this will not bring me happiness, it is the right and honorable action to take at this time in my life. I ve cherished every moment .

    While his wish of donning the India jersey didn’t materialise, the supporters were in awe of the veteran pacer’s never-die attitude and lauded him for at least trying from his end.
    In his tweet, Sreesanth said he didn’t want to eat up the place of a deserving youngster in the state team and it was perhaps the main reason why he decided to call it quits.
    His reasoning impressed the supporters a lot and they lavished praise on him for not being selfish and putting the team ahead of himself.

    From hearing interesting pitches to getting to know more about the entrepreneurs on the panel, there was a lot to talk about while the show was going on, and it seems like there is plenty to talk about even now.

    Especially in terms of memes that serenaded social media and gave trolls meme-fodder for life. 

    From taking famous dialogues and criticism of sharks like Ashneer Grover whose “bhai Kya kar raha hai tu”, went viral, or Pehush Bansal’s fixation on taking up projects that reinstated our faith in humanity, every panellist got to be known for some or the other catchphrase. And one such shark was Namita Thapar, Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals.

    A user on Twitter recently took out time to make an entire flowchart of her most famous and funny catchphrases that obviously started with our favourite, ‘Meri isme expertise nahi hai’. 
    With a flowchart that user Akash Tiwari had seemed to make on a whiteboard, the chart had every possible reason and explanation that Namita had given on the show to contestants, starting with “Chunki main pharma se hun”, and ended at “Isiliye I’m out.”

    And you have to give brownie points to Akash for getting it absolutely right and also for almost cracking us up with his post on Twitter. 

    With almost 3 thousand likes and several hundred comments on the thread, Akash’s tweet has gone viral and we don’t wonder why.
