In recent times, Bollywood has been obsessed with bringing back hit songs of the 90s and the 2000s, remixing them, and incorporating them in the new-age movies.

Take Dus Bahane from Dus in the Tiger Shroff film or Tip Tip Barsa from Mohra used in Akshay Kumar's Sooryavanshi, the songs are actually working with the audiences as well.
Now, having seen some success with that, it looks like Bollywood is remaking older films as well. We're already getting a remake of Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda's comedy-drama film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan with Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff starring in what will be an action remake of the same title.
    © Bade Miyan
It's not just that. Bollywood is also remaking films from the South Indian film industry in order to attain more success.

While this may be a good idea to garner more eyeballs, Bollywood actor Zeeshan Ayyub is of a different opinion.
    © BCCL
Zeeshan, who is known to act in many content-driven films and is someone who doesn't shy away from speaking on things, has revealed how the current trend is a sign of Bollywood lacking creativity.

“It is okay, though for South Indian films - I feel one can dub them and people can watch them. Rather than giving writers opportunities, and running after an already successful formula, it shows a lack of creativity, and I don’t appreciate it.
“It is fine if you have something to add to a story that has been already told. Then, I don’t think there is a problem in remaking or adaptations. But, if you are going to copy exactly frame by frame, then I don’t think it can go a long way. In the current times, when everything is dubbed, especially on the OTT platform, for example, you can watch a German show with subtitles and a Korean show with subtitles. But if one is saying something new with a story, then you should do it.” he said while speaking to News18.
Zeeshan, who has worked in films like No One Killed Jessica, Raanjhana, and Tanu Weds Manu, said that Bollywood should rather focus on newer ideas.
“If you think that there is potential in taking something forward, then you should definitely do it. Not just for business. Sometimes, you can see they name it two or three without any reason so that you get viewership. I think that isn’t a very good idea. One should be confident enough to have new concepts, write something new, and experiment and explore,” he said.
Zeeshan will be seen in an upcoming web show with Paatal Lok actor Jaideep Ahlawat.

Speaking out of experience, social media has infinite potential and power to be tapped into.

Anyone (and everyone at this point) is potentially just a click away from fame, and that has been made possible solely with the impact and kind of reach that social media has offered to the ‘common man’.
Once reserved simply for stars and celebrities, stardom is now more attainable than ever. And proof of it is not just Instagram influencers who started with an idea, but also raw talent that people find scrolling on their feed in the wee hours of the night.

The latest example of such fame is a Kerala girl who made her livelihood selling balloons, but caught the eye of a wedding photographer and had her life turned around, thanks to social media.
Arjun Krishnan, who is a wedding photographer, was attending the Andalur Kavu festival in Kerala when he came across a girl selling balloons. Fascinated, he clicked a few pictures of the girl and happened to show it to her and her mother, both of whom looked pretty happy with his work.
    View this post on Instagram
Soon after, Arjun shared those pictures on his social media and was surprised to receive an overwhelming response from people.
Kisbu (the young girl) was not just lauded, she was suddenly everywhere.
    View this post on Instagram
That’s when she was approached for a makeover and was styled by makeup artist Remya Prajul who started working on a complete makeover for the teenager. The process started at 4 am with a manicure, pedicure and a facial.
    View this post on Instagram
It was followed by an entire low-down to Kisbu about how the shoot was going to proceed, and much to her surprise, it turned out extremely well. Dressed in a traditional kasavu saree with gold jewellery, pictures from the shoot speak for themselves.
With thousands of likes and hundreds of comments, Kisbu is going viral on social media, and just like that, might have a shot at being more than a balloon-seller.

This is also not the first time that something like this has transpired. Months ago, a girl became an overnight sensation after a video of her making rotis in a village, dressed in a suit, went viral.

It’s not a secret that men who are shorter than average are always conscious about their height. Some have even confessed to facing struggles in their daily life when it comes to romantic relationships or how people perceive them.
While you basically cannot do anything about your stature (nor that you should try), there are ways to make yourself look an inch or two taller with the way you dress. Similarly, there are some styling mistakes that can make you look shorter than you really are.
    © Instagram/Varun Dhawan
This applies to men of all heights, BTW. Ever seen a guy who claims he’s 5’9 but looks no taller than 5’7? Well, it could be the fault of the clothes he picked.

If you are one of those people who don’t give a second thought to what you are putting on, you might want to from now on after reading what could be working against your height and making you look shorter.
    © Instagram/Shahid Kapoor
Here are some mistakes men tend to make that make them look shorter in height. Avoid them to dress smart and look taller or just as tall as you are, no less:

    1. Not Wearing Jeans Of Appropriate Length © Instagram/Kunal Kemmu
If the excess fabric of your jeans sits on the bottom in layers, you need to get it altered, hemmed in or folded up till ankles because it is no friend to short heighted guys. Get jeans of apt length that fit you right and fold the cuffs (not too much) to avoid stacking.

    2. Oversized Jackets © Instagram/Rajkummar Rao
Whether it’s a winter jacket or the one with your suit, wearing long and baggy outerwear is a complete no-no. This gives an illusion of shorter legs and a longer torso which makes you look shorter in height.

    3. Wearing Heeled Or Heavy Soled Shoes © Instagram/Shahid Kapoor
You might think that heeled shoes make you look taller but it’s quite the other way.

Heels work for women but not as much for men as they come in the form of heightened soles. Not only do they make your legs look shorter but also pretty unflattering. Go for heeled insoles if you must or simply wear normal shoes.
    4. Big & Bulky Accessories © Instagram/Varun Dhawan
While anything baggy and bulky will make you look short and stout, narrow and small add-ons to your outfit will make you look taller.

Go for narrow and thin ties, belts and narrow strap watches, instead of heavy and broader ones.
    5. Getting The Layering Wrong © Instagram/Ranveer Singh
If your outfit consists of different colours with each layer of clothing you wear, it’s gonna end up going wrong for you.

Layering can work wonders for you but only if you stick to one colour palette, go for solids instead of prints and don’t forget the fit.

Now, a video of her has gone viral on social media where she is seen interacting with paparazzi as she claims to be friends with some of the biggest Hollywood stars.

Remember him? I'm sure anyone who followed Bollywood movies in the late 90s and the early 2000s knows how Fardeen Khan was a prominent part of movies.
    © BCCL
The actor, who is the son of late actor Feroz Khan, starred in some decent films that included No Entry (2005), Fida (2004), Om Jai Jagadish (2002), Heyy Babby (2007), and others.

However, while many looked for a bright future ahead of him, the actor completely vanished from the limelight.
Yep! Fardeen was last seen in the 2010 film Dulha Mil Gaya that had starred Sushmita Sen, with the movie getting some great reviews, especially for the performance put in by Fardeen.
    © YouTube
However, it seemed like Fardeen had other plans in life and completely left Bollywood in joining many popular actors who fans would love to see, but just cannot anymore.

While we thought we may have seen the last of the actor, it looks like he's making his Bollywood comeback after 12 years.
Yes. According to reports, Fardeen will be seen in the upcoming horror film Visfot. This is clearly music to the ears of Bollywood aficionados who would love to see him act again.
Well, it looks like ahead of the project, Fardeen has come back to the public eye and was seen speaking to Bollywood Hungama regarding films and his life.
The actor even revealed how he felt that he didn't deserve a Filmfare Best debut award for his first Bollywood film.
Fardeen had made his debut with Prem Aggan back in 1998, after which he received the award for the Best Male Debut.
    © YouTube
However, as per him, it was something that he didn't deserve. "I don't think I deserve that award. It was a culture and stuff back then, that people got awards like that. I look at my work, I definitely didn't deserve that. The film didn't work, I didn't work, I looked back and I thought I was horrible. I sat at home for a whole year. I had no work, the films I had signed before that, people took their money back. I had spent some of the money that I had been given, so I had to return that money." he said.

Wow! That's honestly quite refreshing to hear from the actor.
He will also be seen in Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's upcoming No Entry Me Entry film.
The film, which is a sequel to the 2005 comedy film No Entry, will see Fardeen reprise his role along with Salman and Anil Kapoor.

Bengali beauty Bipasha Basu, who made her Bollywood debut with Ajnabee in 2001, played the role of a seductress in 2003 hit Jism and won rave reviews for her performance. She even got the title of "*** symbol" post the success of the film, starring John Abraham as the male lead. However, did you know that a catfight broke out between Bipasha and Ameesha Patel over the latter's comment on the erotic thriller?
    View this post on Instagram
Back then, in an interview, the Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai actress had commented that she can never do a film like Jism as her grandmother wouldn't approve of it. Ameesha's statement reportedly irked Bipasha, who gave it back to her on Koffee With Karan in 2005. She had appeared on the show along with Lara Dutta.
Over the years, Karan Johar's chat show Koffee With Karan has been grabbing eyeballs for celebrities spilling the beans on several controversies related to them. Well, that's what had happened when Bipasha reacted to Ameesha's remark on the show. The Raaz actress stated that she didn't feel Ameesha can pull off a film like Jism as she didn't have the required "physical attribution".
    View this post on Instagram
She said, "Ameesha doesn't have the physical attributes to carry out a Jism, to be very honest. (Lara laughs). You need a woman, a full package for the role. She's too petite, too small. Her whole frame is wrong, she would not fit a Jism".
    View this post on Instagram
Well, that's an interesting reply and as expected, made headlines back in 2005.
On the career front, Bipasha was last seen in Alone in 2015. Since then, she has been on a break from films and her fans are waiting for her big Bollywood comeback.
Ameesha, on the other hand, is currently busy shooting for the sequel to her 2001 blockbuster Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. In Gadar 2, she will be seen reprising the role of Sakeena alongside Sunny Deol and Utkarsh Sharma.

Released in 2011, Tanu Weds Manu starred R Madhavan, Kangana Ranaut, Deepak Dobriyal, Jimmy Sheirgill in the lead roles and turned out to be a success at the box office. This was also filmmaker Aanand L Rai first hit as a director, R Madhavan’s first hit post the all-time blockbuster 3 Idiots & resurrected Kangana’s career, in a way.
Four years later, its sequel was released and turned out to be a blockbuster as well at the box office. Besides Madhavan, Kangana, Deepak & Jimmy, the film also featured Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub in a prominent role.
    © Colour Yellow Productions
It’s been 7 years since the film was released and there have been several reports about its sequel.

Now, we hear that there is an idea in place for Tanu Weds Manu 3, however, it may not appeal to the fans of Madhavan and even the franchise.
According to Bollywood Life, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub revealed that writer Himanshu Sharma has an idea for the third part where he is planning to pair Kangana’s character with Zeeshan Ayyub’s as the film will revolve around them.
He further added that Himanshu has been floating this idea around in jest for years now and there is nothing concrete about it yet.
    © Colour Yellow Productions
When prodded further about the film, Zeeshan Ayyub said that he will ask the writer to actually write the script keeping his and Kangana’s characters as the central leads.

While Kangana played the character of Tanu in the film, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub played Advocate Arun aka Chintu Kumar Singh. The two characters share a special bond in the film that turns toxic towards the end.
While Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub said this all in jest, it will be interesting to see if the makers actually go ahead with this idea.

Meanwhile, Deepak Dobriyal who plays the character of Pappi in the film has stated time and again that he is no longer willing to return to the character that he has portrayed and immortalised twice.

Delhi Capitals is one franchise that has performed beyond everybody’s expectations in the last couple of seasons of the Indian Premier League (IPL) and earned countless fans.
Last year, the Delhi-based outfit finished on top of the points table after the league stage and the year before that they had reached the final, only to be pipped by Mumbai Indians in the summit clash.
    © Twitter/IPL
Their resurgence in the last few editions has made them one of the most exciting teams to watch in the whole league, and having assembled a solid squad they were expected to continue on the same path in the upcoming edition as well. Some had even hoped that they would perhaps challenge for the coveted trophy that has eluded them all these years.

But it seems like they might have to wait a little longer to lay their hands on the IPL trophy. It’s because their pace spearched Anrich Nortje hasn’t yet recovered from his injury and is in a race to be fit for the lucrative league, which gets underway in less than three weeks from now.
    © Reuters
The speedster, who hasn't been out of action since last year’s T20 World Cup, hasn’t been named in the Proteas squad for the upcoming ODI series against Bangladesh.

Looking at his injury issues, Cricket South Africa’s selection convenor Victor Mpitsang doesn’t see him recovering for the world’s biggest cricket league, which begins on March 26.
    © Twitter/IPL
Speaking to ESPNCricinfo, Mpitsang said: “It’s probably going to be difficult [for Nortje to go to the IPL]. He has not really been bowling much since November. We don’t have any timeframe on his return. It’s been a long one. The medical team will give advice on whether he will be cleared for the IPL.”

Highlighting the issues that are troubling the pacer the most, CSA’s chief medical officer Dr. Shuaib Manjra said that they have identified three different problems between his back and hip but have no idea which one is the primary cause of concern.
    © Twitter/IPL
“He is currently being investigated. He has been seen by three different orthopedic surgeons. He is struggling with loading and doing most of the other rehab work. He is not ready for the Bangladesh series. We don’t know about the IPL. I guess it’s frustrating. He keeps fit, he works extremely hard. All goes fine, except for when he picks up his bowling loads. He has got discomfort. We have identified three different problems between back and hip and we don’t know which is primary,” Munjra said.

    © Twitter/IPL
Owing to his performances in the last couple of years, Nortje had become a key part of the DC set-up. The fact that the franchise retained him ahead of the mega auction over Kagiso Rabada is enough to tell you how much the DC ownership valued his services.

While he has still not been officially ruled out of IPL 2022 but the statements from the CSA officials have already created a huge panic among the Delhi Capitals supporters.
Having lost Rabada already, missing Nortje was the last thing the DC supporters wanted and their reactions on the micro-blogging site reflected their disappointment.

Last year ur bowling attack consists of avesh, rabada, nortje.
But without these guys u have lord, lungi, khaleel which is gonna be difficult.

    Hope nortje recovers
    — Faded Jani (@FadedJani) March 8, 2022Rabada gone
    Nortje Doubt
    Avesh gone
    ...................wow DC!
    — मंगलू (@imArpanP) March 8, 2022DC waale Archer ko leke has rhe the ki he'll not play, abhi Nortje ka bhi wohi haal hai
    — ° (@anubhav__tweets) March 8, 2022we're so screwed....... probably gonna have to pick up one of Tye or Richardson as a replacement ffs
    — L. (@lakshcfc) March 8, 2022Already depleted pace attack compared to last 2/3 years for DC

It might be a body blow for them
    — jayanth avula (@jayanthavula) March 8, 2022No doubt, losing Nortje would be a huge setback to the Rishabh Pant-led side but it would open up a window of opportunity for other overseas pacers like Lungi Ngidi and Mutafizur Rahman to rise and shine. For the sake of an exciting tournament, we just hope that they rise to the occasion.

The film's official synopsis reads, "A hit and run of an 18-year-old girl becomes the hub of a wheel that sets into motion many a spoke – a journalist, a raging mother, a cop, and a system all caught in an ethical dilemma. Questions raised only to realize that the truth is rarely pure and never simple".

The middle-order had a different look in the opening game against Sri Lanka in Mohali, with Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane out of India's Test team after a spate of low scores.
Hanuma Vihari batted at No. 3, and he didn't perform terribly in the short opportunities he's had, scoring a fifty to show he's more than capable of batting at one down. Shreyas Iyer, on the other hand, batted at No. 5 and has looked like a million dollars since making his Test debut against New Zealand.
    View this post on Instagram
With so many alternatives, the legendary Sunil Gavaskar chose his top five batters for the Men in Blue in the longest format of the game and supported Vihari to bat at the vulnerable No. 3 position. Mayank Agarwal was chosen above Shubman Gill, who is also a member of the Test team and had scored 52, 47, and 44 in his last three innings, according to the India legend.
However, Gavaskar was not completely convinced with Agarwal’s approach towards batting especially on non-Indian pitches and said that he often slumps when it comes to scoring overseas.
    View this post on Instagram
“... if you see carefully, Mayank Agarwal always scores big in India's home series. He bats like a boss in India but doesn't score runs overseas,” Gavaskar said on Sports Tak ahead of India’s second and final Test match of the series against the touring Sri Lankan side in Bengaluru.
As far as home series are concerned, Gavaskar was in favour of having Agarwal open the series alongside the Indian skipper Rohit Sharma and make Vihari stick to the number three spot.
    View this post on Instagram
Gavaskar was fair in his assessment of Iyer's ability to bat at No. 5. He was coming off three consecutive fifty-wicket hauls against Sri Lanka, and he kicked off his Test career with a century on debut against New Zealand.
The second red-ball match between India and Sri Lanka will start on March 12, 2022, at the M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru. Rohit Sharma and Co. were able to dominate the touring side in the first match. After building up a stunning 574-run total in the first innings, they decided to declare on Day 2.
    View this post on Instagram
It took the Indian bowlers a day and a half to dismiss the entire Sri Lankan batting order twice and by the end of Day 3, the Men in Blue were back in their hotel rooms, while giving themselves two extra days of break.
