The year was 2009, the craze was fresh and the hots for ‘Edward Cullen’ aka Robert Pattinson were real. At least for most girls, considering we all rode the Twilight’wave.
However, much to our surprise (and back then, disappointment) a lot of people chose to not go gaga over the vampire-human love story. And one such example is Robert Pattinson’s latest co-star, Zoë Kravitz.
    View this post on Instagram
In what was a People TikTok video, the Batman & Catwoman duo appeared to answer a few fun-filled questions, but little did we, and well, Robert, know that it was going to be one helluva revelation. And not the good kind.

    © Twitter
Zoë starts by admitting how she never saw Twilight, and throughout the video, Robert’s reaction to what she had to say was uncannily like our own.

She says, “it's not my taste," and Pattinson reacts by saying, “Yeah right. It's not even cool to be a hater anymore."
Upon clarifying she’s not a hater, just someone who didn’t watch it. Although she quickly retracts that statement by saying, “That's not true. I saw the first one because my best friend made me go.”
    © Twitter
Pattinson simply is caught shaking his head in disbelief as he says, “There’s a lot of experiences involving me you just completely erased.”

The two share a laugh while the rest of us are still left wondering how is it possible to have entered 2022 without watching the Twilight series.

However, if we’re being honest, Robert Pattinson himself didn’t understand the craze for the Twilight series for a very long time, for, in one interview, the actor said, “It’s a weird story, Twilight. It’s not just like — it’s strange how people responded a lot to it." Guess, he too grew around the idea of the vampire love story.

Meanwhile, The Batman has hit the theatres and received a mixed review.

Jeffrey Wright, Paul Dano, Andy Serkis, Colin Farrell, and John Turturro star alongside Robert Pattinson and Zoe Kravitz.

Every aspect of an actor's life, as well as everybody associated with them, becomes famous inevitably. However, not all siblings of Bollywood celebrities are as popular as their brothers or sisters. From Shahid Kapoor's half-sister Sanah Kapur to Anushka Sharma's brother Karnesh Ssharma, several siblings of Bollywood A-lister celebs are still lesser-known. While some of them failed to make a mark in showbiz, others chose to not become an actor.
Below, let's take a look at the list of lesser-known siblings of popular Bollywood celebrities
Sanah Kapur View this post on Instagram
Shahid Kapoor's half-sister Sanah Kapur (daughter of Pankaj Kapur and Supriya Pathak) made her acting debut with Vikas Bahl's 2015 film Shaandaar. Interestingly, she shared the screen space with her father and brother in it. However, the film flopped badly at the box office. Post Shaandaar, she acted in a few small-budget films like Khajoor Pe Atke and Saroj Ka Rishta but failed to become a popular face. She recently got married to Manoj Pahwa and Seema Pahwa's son Mayank Pahwa in a low-key wedding ceremony.
Karnesh Ssharma View this post on Instagram
Anushka Sharma's brother Karnesh Ssharma chose to be a producer instead of following the usual route of becoming an actor. He has co-produced several acclaimed projects like NH10, Pataal Lok among others with the actress. As per the latest buzz, he is planning to launch a streaming platform named Clean OTT on which female-focused content will be curated and created.
Isabelle Kaif View this post on Instagram
After witnessing her sister Katrina Kaif's mega-success in Bollywood, Isabella Kaif chose to follow her footsteps and entered Bollywood last year with Time To Dance opposite Sooraj Pancholi. The film turned out to be a disaster post which she bagged a few films and music videos, however, is still not a popular face like her sister.
Krishna Shroff View this post on Instagram
Jackie Shroff's daughter and Tiger Shroff's sister, Krishna Shroff is a fitness enthusiast just like her brother. While she is not interested in acting, she is famous on Instagram and has over one million followers.
Saba Ali Khan View this post on Instagram
Saba, Saif Ali Khan's younger sister and Soha Ali Khan's older sister, chose to stay away from the film industry. She is a fashion and jewellery designer, as well as the Chief Trustee of the Bhopal Princely States' Royal Trust. (https://www.filmfare.com/features/10-famous-bollywood-stars-and-their-lesser-known-siblings-47767-1.html) However, every now and then, she makes headlines by posting interesting throwback pictures with her siblings Saif-Soha, brother-in-law Kunal Kemmu, sister-in-law Kareena Kapoor, and her nephew-nieces including Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan.

A few days back, filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri took to Twitter and claimed that he won’t be promoting his upcoming film The Kashmir Files on The Kapil Sharma Show as they refused to invite them due to lack of big stars.
He tweeted, “They refused to call us on their show because we don’t have big commercial star. #FACT”.
Soon after his claims, a section of people on social media decided to go after Kapil Sharma and a few even called for the boycott of his highly popular show.

Recently, when a user requested Kapil to promote The Kashmir Files on his show, Vivek Agnihotri responded, “I don’t get to decide who should be invited on @KapilSharmaK9 show. It’s his and his producers choice whom he wants to invite. As far as Bollywood is concerned, I’d say what once Mr. Bachchan was quoted  saying about Gandhis: वो राजा हैं हम रंक…”

Another tweeted, “There is no point why kapil sharma will invite team of The Kashmir Files with Salman Khan running the show.”
One comment read, “#Boycott_Kapil_Sharma_Show The producer of Kapil Sharma show is Salman Khan the so-called being human and rest is the story”.

International Women’s Day - it’s a day for men too. To celebrate the women who’ve impacted their lives, been their rock and continue to inspire them.
But celebrate them, how? We suggest taking some inspiration from Dia Mirza.
Dia Mirza shot a Women’s Day video about embracing our imperfections and celebrating small joys, and it’s the most beautiful thing we’ve seen in a while. Take a look-

    Such an empowering video, right?

Dia Mirza’s monologue made us sit back and introspect - why are we so obsessed with “perfection”? Why do we only celebrate women when they become CEOs, a zero figure, get a promotion, or perhaps get married?
Why wait for annual bonanzas (or the 8th of March) to celebrate a woman? Instead, tell her - you’re perfect just the way you are…you are valued today, tomorrow, everyday!
We loved the part where she contradicts the popular maxim, “zindagi bahut chhoti hai”. Instead, she urges us to believe that life is rather long, and is sprinkled with loads of small happy joys.
The video is all about celebrating the little things, finding our real purpose and creating an impact in the hearts of people. But more than anything, it’s about going easy on ourselves, by not holding ourselves to the high expectations and standards of society. It’s time to embrace our imperfections.
So, forward this video to all the special women in your life and celebrate them in all their forms. Happy Women’s Day!

    Colourism runs deep in India.
While women face the wrath of relatives and family members and are taunted on a daily basis for being blessed with a dusky skin tone, men don’t have it any easier as well.
The phrase ‘tall, dark handsome’ is just in theory because dark-skinned men too have confessed to being felt inferior and insulted for their skin tone.
    © Drishyam Films
Someone on Reddit asked desis who are dark-skinned about what struggles they face in daily life. Upon reading the comments, we realised there were just as many men as women (even more) who shared the daily trauma, slurs and prejudice they have to face due to the colour of their skin.

    © Viacom 18 Motion Pictures
From being perceived as poor and unhygienic to facing troubles in romantic relationships, here are different experiences from men on what it’s like to be born slightly darker in India:

    1. “Well people perceive us as less cultured or poor. In my new apartment where I moved to a fellow scolded me for not collecting his garbage that day!” –greenmonkey48
    © Colour Yellow Productions
    2. “Wore a yellow t-shirt once and some schoolmates name-called me 'taxi-man' (for the dark & yellow contrast) which stuck for a while.” –AlpacaRatz

    3. “Every time I go to the local Mart, other customers would assume I work there and ask for directions, I always thought it's because of the way I dress or something but turns out it's because of my skin colour (and the way I dress too!). Honestly, I find it hilarious and try to answer where they can find what they are looking for.” –Takisaki
    4. “My relatives suggested I avoid coastal areas until I get married ( f*cked up, yes I know)
Even in adulthood, I have to deal with rejections solely on basis of my skin colour. Dudes with less appealing facial structures but with fair skin often score more than me. I can lie and say that I am over it, but I am not. Stuff like this does bother me from time to time.” –DesiOtakuu
    © Pooja Entertainment
    5. “Dark skin people are perceived to be less hygienic compared to a light-skinned guy and this applies to your attire. As a dark-skinned guy, I can literally turn invincible when I am with my friends. I do apologise if I come out as ignorant.” –killer-1o1

    6. “I remember when Sarfaraz Ahmad got caught on stump mic calling a SA player 'kaaliya' and was reprimanded for racism. I remember discussing with a friend (both of us are quite dark-skinned) about how we both throughout our entire lives have been called kaaliya multiple times either as derogatorily (mostly by family and friends) or jokingly…we never realised that kaaliya could be a racist term. Just goes to show how much kaaliya as an epithet is ingrained in Indian society.” –us_against_the_world
    7. “People think you're South Indian or "Madrasi"” –bagels-6
    8. “I am dark-skinned, My wife is brown. And I was asked the question when we had a baby, "bacha gora hai kya?"” –axyz77
9.“Didn't face any difficulties but there's always prejudice that I'm not intelligent, teacher's always used to get surprised if I answer something correctly…Friends always crack jokes that I'm invisible in dark.” –-TheInvisibleGuy-
    © Excel Entertainment
Men too fall target to colourism and prejudice due to their skin tone just as often as women and face insults from their friends, relatives, family members and complete strangers on a daily basis. When will this end?
