Today, the counting of votes is taking place and the results of the Assembly Elections in five states of India are going to be declared. These states are Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa and Manipur.
People from these states, whether they are BJP supporters or AAP supporters, or want Congress to win or the Samajwadi Party, have all come together for the single purpose on the internet- making memes on the elections.

Bobby Deol was undoubtedly quite popular back when he first got his big break in Bollywood.
Being the son of Bollywood hall of Famer Dharmendra and also the brother of someone like Sunny Deol, there was of course a lot of buzz around the future of Bobby in the industry.

Well, he did live up to it with the release of his film Soldier, which proved to be a massive hit with the fans. The actor had a very different commanding presence to his brother and father, and that was what people really liked about it.

He had an X-factor that separated him from others, and he continued to get a lot of offers in films. However, two decades on, we've seen quite less of Bobby, with the actor going through his own share of struggles.
Bobby has, in the past, opened up on how difficult it was for him to carry on working in films.
It's known that Bollywood is a tough nut to crack, and Bobby, coming from a family of actors, still had troubles in cementing his place with the elite.
However, it looks like he's decided to put his struggles behind him and just saw the release of his latest film Love Hostel.

In the movie that stars Sanya Malhotra and Vikrant Massey, Bobby plays the role of a ruthless mercenary, Dagar, who is hired by Sanya's family to hunt down her and her lover Vikrant Massey. His performances are getting a lot of praise, however, it looks like Bobby has learned from his struggles and has a message for his younger son, Aryaman Deol.

As things go, there is a chance that Aryaman might also choose to step into films, and Bobby has had his say on it.
Speaking with Siddharth Kanna in a recent interview, Bobby reacted to his son being called good looking, and said, “When I was going to make my Bollywood debut, people used to say the same things to me, that he is good looking and he will be a superstar. But I know the reality. It doesn't matter what you look like, if viewers want to see you they will. Nobody knows what's gonna happen in the future. Definitely, his good looks are a plus point and I am very proud of it but there is no guarantee about what's gonna happen in this industry." said Bobby.
Speaking on the importance of education, Bobby had a message for youngsters wanting to join the industry.
“I wanted my kids to complete their education first. My son is studying business management. I want him to complete his education and make up his mind so that even if he fails in the film industry, he can do something else. So, it is very important for youngsters who can afford to complete their education, before becoming an actor because I am an example, I went through that being a star's son." said Bobby.
It's good to see Bobby be so candid about his son and Bollywood in general. We really hope we can see more of him in movies now.

Indian celebrities having a swayamvar on national television is not a new trend. Earlier, the swayamvars of various known names including Rakhi Sawant, Mallika Sherawat, Rahul Mahajan, and Shehnaaz Gill took place on TV. Now, the latest buzz suggests that another celebrity might soon be looking for a bride on a reality show.
Well, we're talking about Mika Singh. Reportedly, the singer is excited about his swayamvar and is going to charge an insane amount for it. There are rumours that he has charged a whopping amount of Rs 50 crore to be a part of the show. Yes, you read that right!

Revealing the same, a source informed ETimes, "When approached Mika Singh asking price is 50 crores for the participation in the show". However, the singer is yet to confirm the same.
According to reports, the show's concept is similar to the previous swayamvars. It is expected to premiere within a few months. Looks like Mika too will follow the footsteps of Rakhi Sawant and Ratan Rajput. He will reportedly just get engaged on the show and will take his relationship further once the show ends.
Interestingly, after the show, both Rakhi and Ratan broke engagements with their partners as things didn't turn out as expected. We wonder what the future holds for Mika.

Well, the singer is looking forward to his swayamvar. Revealing the same, a source informed TOI, "Mika is really excited to be a part of the show. Contestants participating in the show will be from across the country".
Talking about previous swayamvars, only Rahul Mahajan ended up getting married to Dimpy Ganguly on the show Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega in 2010. After being together for around four years, the duo got divorced in 2015.
Mallika Sherawat had chosen Vijay Singh as her life partner. After the show, they dated each other for a while and parted ways within a year.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi starring Alia Bhatt has proven to be a big money-spinner at the box office.
The biographical drama has hit a century at the domestic box office in just 13 days of its release. The milestone is worth celebrating considering Gangubai Kathiawadi was the first big Hindi film to release in theatres post the third wave of the coronavirus.
The Hindi film industry had its hope pinned on the Alia Bhatt starrer to revive the theatrical business and it didn’t disappoint.

As Gangubai Kathiawadi went past the Rs 100 crore mark on its second Wednesday, Alia Bhatt has achieved a new box office milestone in her career.

She has proven to be the top actress of current times leaving the likes of Kangana Ranaut and Deepika Padukone miles behind when it comes to the box office supremacy.
Alia is now the only actress to have not one but two female-centric films hitting Rs 100 crore at the box office.
Before Gangubai Kathiawadi, it was 2019 hit Raazi that was the first Alia starrer to go past Rs 100 crore mark. The Meghna Gulzar directorial collected Rs 122.39 crore in India.
Gangubai Kathiawadi is now expected to end its run in the same range as Raazi. However, the only difference is that the business of Gangubai Kathiawadi has come in the post-pandemic era which makes its success even sweeter.

Since the year 2020, the Hindi film industry has only seen three major box office hits - Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, Sooryavanshi and Gangubai Kathiawadi.

While Alia has two female-centric films in the Rs 100 crore club, Kangana Ranaut is yet to open that account as her Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi ended its box office run at Rs 90.81 crore, according to Box Office India.
As for Deepika, Chhapaak released in 2020 collected only Rs 32.55 crore.

Another interesting stat is that out of the thirteen films of Alia that were released theatrically, she has only delivered two duds - the 2015 film Shaandaar and the 2019 multistarrer Kalank.
