    Decoupled, starring R Madhavan and Surveen Chawla, has been streaming on Netflix. On the surface, it looked like it’s a story about a couple who are separating after marriage as they have seen all the ups and downs. Although they decide it’s time to part ways, the two get in the loop of a question of whether they should or shouldn’t be together.
    Comprising of eight episodes, Decoupled tells the story of Arya Iyer (Madhavan) and Shruti Sharma (Surveen), who have been navigating a dead marriage for the sake of their daughter. 

    As per the PR handout, while explaining about the show, Creator Manu Joseph said, “Decoupled is about a guy who can see in any situation what others are trained to ignore. Naturally, it gets him into trouble wherever he goes, and this sort of objectivity is not healthy for a man in a marriage. One of our goals was to keep it all real. The thing about comedy is that if it is not real it is not funny, and what is difficult about comedy is that every component in a scene has to fire for it to work. It was amazing to watch Madhavan throw away his good-boy image for the lead role and reach deep into his delinquent side. Surveen Chawla, playing his long-suffering wife had a particularly challenging role because it is extremely hard to play a normal sane person. And I’m grateful to the director, Hardik Mehta, who taught me that men with great hairstyles can still be very grounded and hardworking.”

    If you have seen the trailer, you would agree with the fact there is causal sexism as in one of the scenes R Madhavan explained how women make noises while making out and men don’t. Many viewers gave it a green flag thinking it might be one of the cases but turns out that show has ended up upsetting people.

    Yes, you read that right. Not just the viewers, critics have also pointed out massive loopholes in the story. From islamophobia to transphobia, people found the show to be deeply toxic.

    Salman Khan’s relationships are never for the public but he never denies or accepts any claims or rumours made around him as well. His last known public relationship and probably the longest one was with Katrina Kaif. Post that he was spotted with a Romanian model and actress Iulia Vantur and they made heads turns, fuelling dating rumors when he walked into Preity Zinta’s reception party with her.

    The two were supposed to be going strong and there were rumours that they’d even end up tying the knot soon, but 5 years later, they are still spotted together but not married for sure. Not many know but Iulia was once reportedly married to a Grammy nominated singer back home and he is a Romanian Rockstar. According to a MissMalini report, his name is Marius Moga and the two were going strong for over 4 years before calling it quits.

    Leonardo DiCaprio is associated with a lot of movie roles throughout his massive and highly successful career, however, superhero movies are definitely not included in them.

    Unlike many superstars in Hollywood, Leo takes time to choose his projects and then follows it up by putting his best put forward in making the roles look as memorable as imaginably possible.

    However, while it may be some time before we actually get to see him play a superhero in the future, it looks like he's already a superhero in real life.

    This is because of an incident that just happened recently.
    As per reports, what happened was Leonardo had brought two of his dogs along with him to the sets of his upcoming Netflix film Don't Look Up, which stars actors Jennifer Lawrence and Jonah Hill.

    It was there when one of the huskies fell into the water, and Leo being Leo, straightaway jumped in.

    While speaking together in an interview, Leo, director Adam McKay, Jennifer and Jonah, all spoke about the incident from turn to turn.
    Narrating the incident, McKay says, “The funniest thing was, Leo has these two rescue huskies that are just absolute tornadoes. Jonah would send me pictures of your ripped-apart couch,”
    To which Jonah says, “Basically they both fell in a frozen lake.”
    Now, as you already know Leo jumped to save them instinctively, and the actor says that he didn't exactly know what else to do.
    “And then I went in. Living in California, I didn’t understand what you do at a frozen lake,” said Leo.
    Jeniffer then explains, “As soon as he pushed the one dog out of the pond the other one jumped in.”
    This is continued by Leo, who goes on to say that it was then that the dogs needed saving, “the other one started licking the one that was drowning and then we all were in the frozen lake together,” he said.
    Later, Jeniffer also highlights exactly how Leo proceeded to warm his body, “and I’m sure you guys are all wondering, I was too, he immediately got naked in the car,” said Jennifer.

    Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, featuring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel in lead roles, was released in 2001 and turned out to be a huge blockbuster. After a gap of 20 years, the makers are now helming Gadar 2 in which both the lead actors along with their on-screen son Utkarsh Sharma will be seen reprising their roles. Earlier this month, the shooting for Gadar sequel finally started in Himachal Pradesh and has been going on in full swing.

    It's only been a few days since Gadar 2 went on floors and the film has now courted controversy over the shoot location. According to reports, the makers have been accused of cheating and fraud. 

    Some important sequences of the much-awaited film were shot recently in Bhaled village near Palampur in Himachal Pradesh. The team shot at a property for 10 days in the village and the owner has now accused the makers of cheating.  
    He has claimed that the film's shooting was supposed to take place in 1 hall and 3 rooms only and the Gadar 2 makers had agreed to pay Rs 11,000 per day as rent.  
    “But, now the makers are using the entire house for shooting the film. The makers are also using the house of my elder brother. Makers have cheated us. We are facing a lot of trouble due to shooting,” the News18 report quoted the owner.
    Also, he has now asked the makers to stop shooting the film on his property and has reportedly given a bill of Rs 56 lakh to them. The Gadar 2 team is yet to react to the same. 
    Earlier this month, announcing the film on social media, Ameesha Patel had shared a few pictures from the set revealing her as well as Sunny Deol's look. In the photos, both the actors are seen posing together for pictures. Looks like they have not aged at all!

    Reportedly, the story will be continued from where it was left off two decades ago. 

    For the unversed, Gadar had clashed with Aamir Khan's Lagaan in 2001. However, both films performed really well at the box office and turned out to be superhits. Fans are now eagerly waiting for Gadar 2 and it'll be interesting to see if the makers will be able to create the same magic onscreen or not.

    When Virat Kohli contradicted BCCI president Sourav Ganguly’s statement during a press conference last week, it sent shockwaves throughout the country, the tremors of which are still being felt almost a week after the incident.
    Like many of us, Indian batting legend Dilip Vengsarkar also feels that this whole episode was “very unfortunate” and raised many questions in the minds of billions of fans who follow this game like a religion in the country.

    “It’s very unfortunate, the whole thing. I think it should have been handled more professionally by the cricket board,” Vengsarkar told Khaleej Times.

    Unlike many people who blame Kohli’s arrogance for his whole mess, the former chief selector feels that the foundation for this whole controversy was laid out by the BCCI president, when he started to speak on behalf of the selectors in the media.
    Vengsarkar, who played 116 Tests for the country between 1976-92, said that “Ganguly had no business” to speak on the behalf of the selectors committee and called him out for interfering in their matter.

    “The thing is that Ganguly had no business to speak on behalf of the selection committee. Ganguly is the president of BCCI. Any issue about selection or captaincy, it’s the chairman of the selection committee who should speak,” said the former India captain.

    Vengsarkar argued that the manner in which Kohli was sacked from ODI captaincy and after Ganguly’s comments in the media, the 33-year-old cricketer was left with no choice but to address the situation and put everything to rest ahead of an important tour.

    “Ganguly spoke about the whole thing, obviously Virat wanted to make his case clear. I believe it should have been between the chairman of the selection committee and the captain. A captain is selected or removed by the selection committee, that’s not Ganguly’s jurisdiction at all,” he explained.

    Kohli was about to embark on a challenging tour for the next couple of months and one could understand why he wanted to make everything clear.

    As for the BCCI, they should treat this whole episode as a huge learning point going forward. LIke Vengsarkar said, each and every individual who is associated with the Indian cricket board has been tasked with performing a given role and it would be better if everybody, irrespective of their position, respected that and let everyone do their job.

    For the unversed, she was offered Ishaqzaade, but she rejected the film and chose to go to the Beauty Pageant. In an interview with Filmi Beat, she said, “I am that kind of person who always follows what my heart says. Along with Ishaqzaade, there was also another film that starred one of the Khans. But I choose my Pageant because that was my childhood dream. For other people, of course, that dream is bigger than my dream. But for me as a person, this one was bigger than anything.”

    She went on to add, “If at that point of time, someone would ask me what do you want Urvashi, which is your dream - then I would say my college is more important. Indeed Mr. Habib Faizal (writer-director of Ishaqzaade) approached me for that film, but at that time I was living, breathing, and preparing myself for Miss Universe. And so that thing was much more important to me than anything else.”  
    She concluded, “No matter what big opportunity I was being offered, but as I said, I always follow what my heart says and I always pick-and-choose what my heart tells me. And I have no regrets in my life, where whatever decision I take in my life, I am really happy about it and how things are shaping up now.” 
    She has surely come a long way!
