The new year is approaching with a ray of hope, new beginnings and new opportunities. It is that time of the year when people begin to manifest positivity in their life. However, where there is good, there is a shadow of evil which follows. Every year, the predictions by the famous Bulgarian blind mystic, Baba Vanga make the rounds on the internet.

Known as the ‘Nostradamus of the Balkans’, she lost her eyesight at the age of 12 and while her eyes got sealed shut, she believed that she was then gifted with psychic and healing abilities.

According to Astrofame, her predictions for 2022 include some severe climatic hazards and here’s a look at what might await us next year:

1. Increase in earthquakes and tsunamis

The 2004 tsunami was predicted by her and she has now predicted that in 2022, several Asian countries, as well as Australia, will be struck by floods.

2. The discovery of a lethal virus in Siberia

Researchers will discover a lethal virus in Siberia that was, up until now, frozen. Due to the catastrophic effects of global warming, said virus could quickly spin out of control.

3. Lack of drinking water

Many countries and cities can expect to be hit by a shortage of drinking water this year. Population increase and the pollution of rivers will see many of us struggle to find new sources.

4. An alien ship will attack Earth

She has predicted that an asteroid known as ‘Oumuamua’ will be sent by aliens to attack life on Earth.

5. Attack of the locusts in India

Baba Vanga predicted apocalyptic scenes in India and pointed out that the temperatures there will reach a whopping 50° Celsius which will lead to locusts attacking the crops and agricultural plots, leading to a famine.

6. Virtual reality will take over

The clairvoyant has further predicted that this year will see people spend more time than ever in front of screens.

Well, with a lot of these predictions already being backed up by researchers, it looks like Covid is not the only demon striking us right now.
