Falling on the wrong end of the results after a closely-contested clash is perhaps the worst feeling an athlete can experience, and the Indian women’s hockey team players went through the same emotions after they came up short in their bronze medal match against Great Britain at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Every player on the Indian team wanted to end their historic Olympic campaign with a bronze medal but their hard work couldn’t yield the desired result and they broke down completely after the final hooter.
The visuals of the players shedding tears in the stadium melted every Indian supporters’ heart, including that of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

After their match, PM Modi made a phone call to the Indian women in Tokyo and conveyed that the entire country was proud of their campaign and they shouldn't be disappointed with the loss because they were able to accomplish so much in the last few days that their predecessors couldn’t.

Heart breaks for @ImRaniRampal & team. You can see it in their faces here as they get a call from PM Modi. But they must know that history has been made, a country was on its feet, a whole generation inspired. pic.twitter.com/VMsLX6pI6C

“You all have played magnificently well. You all have worked so hard for the last 5-6 years and each one of you lived and breathed hockey, leaving everything behind. Your sweat didn't fetch you a medal but your hard work has become an inspiration for millions of young girls in the country. I congratulate all the players, support staff and the coach and you all shouldn’t be disappointed,” PM Modi told the players over the phone.

Hearing PM Modi’s motivational words made the players even more emotional and many of them couldn’t hold back their tears and broke down while the call was on.

What followed was the genuine care that PM Modi showed towards the women’s team and people loved how he consoled the players and tried to help them deal with the result of the match by highlighting the positive outcome of their campaign, including how it revived the sport in the country, which used to be India’s identity at one point in time.

Another instance that highlighted PM Modi’s genuine affection for the players was when he enquired about the injury that Navneet Kaur suffered in the previous game and how shocked he looked after being told that she received four stitches in her eye.

“You all should stop crying. I can hear you all crying. The whole country is proud of you. There is no reason for you to be disappointed. Hockey, which once used to resonate with the Indian identity, has been given a new life after so many decades, just because of your sheer hard work and performances,” he added.
PM encourage them like father. Team have great future. Kudos to them . Good Luck.

When you are a superstar down South and live in a magnificent heaven of your own in a posh area of Hyderabad, it is only fair that a home up North has to be equally classy.

Telugu star Ram Charan and his entrepreneur wife Upasana Konidela's modern, minimalist Mumbai penthouse looks straight out of a futuristic Hollywood movie.
As he is currently shooting for Rajamouli’s RRR, the actor and his wife’s work plus social commitments keep them occupied with frequent trips to Mumbai.

Naturally, if one has the means to own a sea-facing penthouse, why would one spend on lush hotel suites instead?

The modern house is designed by a famous Mumbai-based architecture firm and a little internet stalking allowed us to have a peek at how the interiors look like.
A European style marble dining table with a modern kitchen behind it, and a view of the sea?  Yes please, even a slice of plain toast will taste like a freshly-baked croissant over here.

Who wants a dressing room or a full length fancy mirror in the room when you can have a walk-in wardrobe which looks straight out a Marvel movie?

Coming to the private section of this gorgeous house, the bathroom, the rooms and the guest room spell luxury like nothing else. Who would not dream of the stars and the moon if one was coming home to THIS every day?!

Pardon our vanity, but this is a dream house for anyone who loves a tinge of warm beige splashed on a minimalist design.

The price of the penthouse is unknown but looking at the interiors and the place, let's just say it is probably more than one can assume.

The thing about *** is that it is almost always on peoples mind. The saying that “everything in this world is about ***”, is perhaps true considering it is one of the strongest human drives. And so, the urge to satiate that need often comes out in different and sometimes adventurous ways. Like getting at it in the backseat of a car which is a thrill in its own.
While making out in the car and sneaking a few kisses here and there is still doable, when we talk about hitting a home run, things tend to get a little complicated.
    © iStock
The confined space, the inexperience and the overall unconventional nature of making love in the car, everything plays on the mind and often makes one nervous than excited for the adventurous experience. However, there are always ways to navigate the apprehensions that come when you’re planning to get frisky in the backseat. Here are a few things to keep in mind before having *** in a car:

    © iStock
    1) First things first, engaging in indecent behaviour in public is a crime. And it doesn’t matter that the car is your property, as long as it is parked on a public space, *** in a car is illegal. Which is why, your best bet would be to attempt having it while your car is parked in your own private property - whether it is in your parking or a garage, that way you will eliminate the risk of being charged.

    © iStock
    2) Since the space in a car is confined and offers a lot less surface area than you’d be used to, it is advisable to stick to a few basic positions than to go all out and end up with a muscle pull. Think missionary and sitting cowgirl, two positions that won’t disappoint you.

    © iStock
    3) Keep them clothes on. It’s okay to take the clothes off and feel the skin-to-skin intimacy when you’re in a more private and conventional space, but when you’re in a car and the stakes are high, do what you’d do in a quickie and power through!

    © iStock
    4) Make sure your car is parked well and you’re not trying to do anything while still driving. As thrilling as it may seem, it is dangerous and even a second of distraction might put you at the risk of an accident.

Pro tip : use that handbrake because the only sliding you’d want to do is inside the car and not outside.

Ever since the video of a Lucknow girl slapping a cab driver claiming he was trying to hurt her has gone viral, a lot of mixed sentiments have been floating around on the internet over the issue.

With so many elements in the story now coming forward, there is common outrage across the country demanding that the cab driver deserves a fair trial of justice and both the sides of the story need to be authenticated and investigated properly.
Viral Video: A Girl Continuously Beating a Man (Driver of Car) at Awadh Crossing, Lucknow, UP and allegedly Damaging his Phone inspite of him asking for Reason pic.twitter.com/mMH7BE0wu1
    — Megh Updates (@MeghUpdates) July 31, 2021
The woman, in question, who has been identified as Priyadarshini Yadav has gone on record in several media interviews claiming that she was being traumatised by over 100 men for two consecutive years and how this cab driver was jumping the signal and she was sure that she’d be hurt, which is what led to her getting physical with him.

While this interview has really angered a lot of people because it has confused them further regarding the truth, an old video of Priyadarshini has now allegedly surfaced online where she is seen having an argument with her neighbours, over the 'colour of their wall'.

In the video, she is seen shouting at the Police to take action against her neighbours to repaint their wall because ‘yahan pe international drones ghumte hai’.
The wall was black and she apparently wanted them to change the colour.
Meanwhile, an FIR was registered against her in the cab driver violence case, and she was booked under sections 394 (voluntarily causing hurt in committing robbery) and 427 (mischief causing damage) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Kapil Sharma has been on the receiving end of people after he asked a fan to wear a mask as the particular fan, in question, was trying to click a picture with the comedian.

The video of the interaction was shared by celebrity paparazzo Viral Bhayani on his Instagram handle. “#kapilsharma alerts fan to wear a mask. Cannot take it lightly we are not done bro. We still on alert," the caption read.
    Here's the video:

After the video started to get traction, people started to criticize Kapil for saying no to a fan who just wanted a picture with him.

Kapil was called arrogant and haters also went on to say that his success has clearly 'gone to his head'.
Well, then there were people who understood the reason why Kapil said no to the picture and appreciated the fact that he asked the fan to wear a mask.
Here are some of the reactions:

We feel this is nothing but plain hypocrisy because Kapil wasn’t wrong in taking precautions.

In the pandemic era, it’s the mask that can somehow help us in avoiding contracting this deadly virus that has claimed so many lives.
What do you think about this unfair trolling? Let us know in the comments section below.
On the professional front, Kapil Sharma was on a break from work to be with his family. During a Q&A session on Twitter, when a fan asked the comedian why his show was going off-air, Sharma replied, “Because I need to be there at home with my wife to welcome our second baby.”
And now, much to his fans' delight, he is coming back with his popular TV show The Kapil Sharma Show, where he has reunited with co-actors Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Bharti Singh, Archana Puran Singh, and others.

Xiaomi has now become the world’s fastest smartphone company in the world after dethroning the likes of Samsung and Apple.
The smartphone manufacturer reached the milestone, according to a report by Counterpoint Research. The most surprising bit was that the company’s flagship phone i.e. the Mi 11 Ultra managed to capture 17.1 per cent of the global smartphone market.

The company managed to grow by 26 per cent despite the COVID-19 pandemic and was also the world’s number two smartphone brand for Q2 2021.

The company has now shipped over 800 million smartphones in the last decade. Xiaomi currently leads the global smartphone sales charts followed by Samsung at second place and Apple at third.
“Ever since the decline of Huawei commenced, Xiaomi has been making consistent and aggressive efforts to fill the gap created by this decline. The OEM has been expanding in Huawei’s and Honor’s legacy markets like China, Europe, Middle East and Africa. In June, Xiaomi was further helped by China, Europe and India’s recovery and Samsung’s decline due to supply constraints,” Tarun Pathak, research director at Counterpoint, said in a press statement.
The company’s growth has been attributed to aggressive offline expansion in China and India, where products such as the Redmi 9, Redmi Note 9 and the Redmi K series have been most successful.
Samsung suffered the most due to supply constraints in Vietnam which helped Xiaomi dethrone the South Korean giant. In order for the South Korean tech giant to reclaim its top spot, Counterpoint Research says that the situation in Vietnam needs to improve.

Apple, on the other hand, has now slipped to the third position even though the company has enjoyed massive growth thanks to the iPhone 12 series.

It is worthy to point out that both Samsung and Apple are gearing to launch new smartphones in the coming days and months. Samsung is expected to announce two new foldable smartphones that will be the replacement of the Galaxy Note series.
Xiaomi has been a leader in the Indian smartphone market for a while and now the company is also the top smartphone company in Europe after a remarkable June quarter. Xiaomi is also expected to launch its latest smartphone i.e. the Mi Mix 4 a day before Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event.

Bollywood’s creative directors have always been under the microscopic eyes of people who find their errors and keep constantly checking if they have plagiarised content.

Akshay Kumar and Vaani Kapoor’s new song Marjaawaan from the upcoming movie Bell Bottom has been released today but its poster is what has gotten the team in trouble.
While the film has been in the headlines since its inception, the new poster is in limelight for all the wrong reasons.

Turns out, the concept of the poster is not 100% original. Digital Creator by the name of Diet Sabya took to Instagram to point this out and shared the original shot too.
    Here’s his Instagram post:
    View this post on Instagram
After going through the comments, we dug out the original shot and also got to know this picture was taken by an Instagram influencer and a travel blogger Camille with her husband in Sri Lanka.
Sharing the picture on Instagram last year, Camille wrote, “OUR FAVOURITE 2019 PIC, THIS TIME WITH VIDEO It feels like yesterday that we were riding on this scenic train journey in Sri Lanka, with some of the most beautiful views in the entire country There were lots of different opinions on this picture, and we respect that, but for us this was one of the most fun pictures to create! Happy new year everyone (sic).”
    Here’s the original shot:

Seeing the uncanny similarities between the two shots, people have lost their cool and are calling it a tacky version of the original.

People also questioned the whole idea behind Vaani putting her foot on Akshay’s chest. Some even said that she looks like she is about to shove him off the train!
Some people chose the moment to point out their disgust to the fact that Akshay is always cast opposite younger actresses.
