Kapil Sharma has been on the receiving end of people after he asked a fan to wear a mask as the particular fan, in question, was trying to click a picture with the comedian. 

The video of the interaction was shared by celebrity paparazzo Viral Bhayani on his Instagram handle. “#kapilsharma alerts fan to wear a mask. Cannot take it lightly we are not done bro. We still on alert," the caption read.

After the video started to get traction, people started to criticize Kapil for saying no to a fan who just wanted a picture with him. 

Kapil was called arrogant and haters also went on to say that his success has clearly 'gone to his head'. 

Well, then there were people who understood the reason why Kapil said no to the picture and appreciated the fact that he asked the fan to wear a mask.

We feel this is nothing but plain hypocrisy because Kapil wasn’t wrong in taking precautions. 

In the pandemic era, it’s the mask that can somehow help us in avoiding contracting this deadly virus that has claimed so many lives.

On the professional front, Kapil Sharma was on a break from work to be with his family. During a Q&A session on Twitter, when a fan asked the comedian why his show was going off-air, Sharma replied, “Because I need to be there at home with my wife to welcome our second baby.”
