Fans of Dulquer Salmaan are surely having a blast today. Firstly it is his birthday today, a day when he normally takes time out to engage with his fans on social media. Secondly, and more importantly, the first look, or rather, a teaser for his upcoming film just dropped today, much to the delight of fans of Telugu & Malayalam cinema.
Our extraordinary man... Happy Birthday 'Lieutenant' RAM, @dulQuer
Here's the Glimpse: https://t.co/RpHJnAEt90#declassifiessoon #HBDDearestDULQUER@hanurpudi @Composer_Vishal @AshwiniDuttCh @SwapnaCinema @VyjayanthiFilms pic.twitter.com/kaDpeS69or

Vyjayanthi Movies, one of the oldest production houses in India, and also one of the most prominent ones, took to Twitter today, to wish the Mollywood star on his birthday and share the first poster of the film, that still doesn’t have a name and is being referred to as ‘Production No.7.’ They also dropped the first teaser/glimpse from the film.
Although not much is known about the film with regards to its story, and characters, what can be said with certainty, is the fact that ‘Production No. 7’ is going to be a period film set sometime between the 1960s and 1970s from the look of the teaser, and a concept poster that the production house had released last year.

Speaking of uniforms, in the film, Dulquer plays a character named Lieutenant Ram and looks absolutely stunning in his uniform. We also get to see the boyish charm that has won him quite a substantial fan following, all across the country.

‘Production No.7’ is being directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, and, apparently, the film will also have Pooja Hegde and Rashmika Mandanna, although, neither the director nor the production company has revealed anything as far as casting is concerned.

The last Telugu film that Dulquer was a part of was called Mahanati, in which he played the role of veteran Tamil actor Gemini Ganesan. He received critical acclaim for his performance in the movie, as well as adulation from fans of Tamil cinema.
Other than 'Production No.7,' Dulquer is also awaiting the release of his upcoming Malayalam film, titled Kurup, where he delves into the world of insurance fraud. Kurup is a little special for Dulquer, as it has the highest budget that any of his films have had, of about Rs 35 Crores.

Are you tired of your natural hair colour? Do you want to experiment with something new and exciting at home, such as bleached hair or highlights? Men's fashion is currently favouring blonde or platinum grey hair. Everyone from celebrities to supermodels are using different hair colours to take their look up a notch.
When it comes to getting blonde with hair bleach, you have the option of visiting a decent salon or doing it yourself at home. Yes, you read that right. Bleaching your hair can be a DIY project. However, there are a few things to bear in mind when it comes to bleaching your hair at home without causing damage.
How To Bleach Hair At Home:You just need to follow a few easy steps to avoid making some common mistakes:
1. Put On The Gloves :The first step is to put on your disposable clothing, as bleach might harm your clothes, especially if they are dark-coloured. When you enter the bathroom to apply the bleach, you can wear a synthetic apron to keep your clothes clean. Wearing a pair of plastic or latex gloves to protect your hands from the toxins is the next step.

2. Mix The Developer With The Bleach Powder :To mix the components, always use a non-metallic bowl. For this purpose, plastic bowls would be the finest choice. Add two portions of the developer to one component of bleach powder when mixing the reagents in a 2:1 ratio. The mixture should have the consistency of whipped cream and no lumps. You can change the amount based on your hair type, colour and consistency.
3. Apply The Bleach On Your Hair :When the mixture is complete, use a brush to apply it to your hair. When you want to thoroughly bleach your hair. Begin by painting the tips and mid-lengths of your hair, as these take longer to develop than the roots. Once your hair is covered from root to tip, then leave it to do its work.
© Instagram/Arjun Rampal
4. Leave It For some time :After you've applied it, let it sit for at least 30-40 minutes, but no longer than that. Continue to inspect it in the mirror to see whether the colour is lifting. If you have darker hair, it may take a few more minutes to properly bleach it.
5. Wash Your Hair :The next step is to wash it out of your hair. On your hair, use a balancing shampoo, followed by a protein balancing conditioner, and then rinse with warm water. Never skip the conditioner since bleach can cause your hair to dry out and become frizzy and messy. After that, air-dry your hair before using post-wash serums.
__ECOMPRODUCT__2181__
6. Apply Toner On Your Hair :While most people are aware of how to bleach hair, they frequently overlook the need to tone it. Toner helps to neutralise any brassy yellow tones in the hair, helping you achieve the cool platinum look. Allow it 15-30 minutes for it to work after applying and then thoroughly rinse it.
__ECOMPRODUCT__1069__
7. Put A Hair Mask :Because bleach might dry out your hair, it's a good idea to use a conditioning treatment afterwards to make your hair softer. To keep your hair from becoming brittle, conclude with a moisturising hair mask.
How To Take Care Of Bleached Hair At Home:After learning how to bleach hair at home, the next step is to properly care for your bleached hair. This ensures that your bleached hair looks fantastic!
1. Wash Your Hair Less: Bleaching hair at home tends to strip the hair and scalp of sebum (natural oil). Sebum keeps your scalp from becoming itchy and your hair from drying out and becoming brittle and it can also be rinsed out when you wash your hair. So it's worthwhile to forego a wash now and then, in order to keep the hair moisturised.
__ECOMPRODUCT__2182__
2. Use Specific Shampoo And Conditioner:As previously said, bleaching your hair at home can result in a brassy appearance. After bleaching, your hair can turn a brassy yellow due to pollution. Shampoo and conditioner made for coloured hair are recommended to neutralise the yellow and give it a cooler tone. If you prefer the yellow tone, you can use regular shampoo to maintain it.
__ECOMPRODUCT__2183__
3. Avoid Hair Dryers And Straighteners:Hair that has been bleached is more brittle, and it will break if you use heat styling on it. So it's critical to stay away from hairdryers and straighteners as much as possible. You should avoid over-styling your hair if you have bleached hair. You can use them in some situations, but only after conditioning your hair. Also, always use a cool setting on your hairdryer.
To Wrap UpTrying something different with your hair is always a good idea. You can ensure that your bleached hair is not damaging by using suitable care and application techniques. If you don't want to go global, start with highlights or bleached tips. It will still give you a fresh look, but it will not entirely transform your hair. Take extra precautions after bleaching your hair highlights to ensure a good-looking final outcome.

It’s a commonly believed notion that men are only ever interested in a relationship for the ***.
Having been reduced to nothing but ***-crazed beings who are often accused of thinking with their d**ks instead of their brains, men have garnered an infamous reputation of valuing only what happens under the sheets.
© Dharma Productions
But because all it takes to dirty an entire pond are a few fish and a misunderstood perspective, we decided to seek the answer to the long-asked question ourselves - ‘how important is *** to stay in a relationship?’
Here is what they had to say:
1. “I think lack of physical chemistry in a relationship might eventually lead you to cheat, which is why I would say *** is as important as any other factor for a stable and sustaining relationship.” - Gavin.
© Netflix
2. “For me, it’s more about the intimacy than the act of ***. It matters more to me if I feel connected to my partner, as opposed to feeling so just in bed. So, overall, I’d say it plays a role, but it wouldn’t be a deal-breaker for me.” - Mehul.
3. “Honestly, I’ve been there, done that, and I’ve come to a realization that *** is overrated. To me, it’s not at all important, because there is so much more to a relationship than just ***. There are things like understanding, communication, building a life together, these are what really matter, whereas *** is just another need that doesn’t have to be equated with trust issues. I feel love and lust are two completely different things and if there is love, the latter would never become a deal-breaker.” - Sowrav.
© Dharma Productions
4. “I think intimacy is extremely important in sustaining a relationship whereas ***, not too much. But I also believe that not having the right sexual chemistry may just create problems and distance between two people in the long run.” - Mansij.
5. “*** creates a bond between two people, that is more than just physical. It is emotional and to a level, spiritual. And when there is a lack of sexual chemistry, it keeps you from experiencing the relationship in its entirety. Which is I look at *** as more of a way to bond with your partner, than just the raw act.” - Raghav.
© Eros International
6. “When the relationship is fairly new, *** becomes one of the most important things to judge a partner on, because so early on in the relationship you don’t know much else. If the *** isn’t good, chances are most people wouldn’t want to go further to explore.” - Rishabh.
7. “It kinda depends on the relationship, sometimes the only thing that binds together is *** but in some relationships even if you have a spell dry for a long time nothing changes the love is still there. I have had platonic relationships also and its sort of the best ones.” - Ishaan.
© Dharma Productions
8. “If it’s healthy *** coming from a place of wanting to please rather than being pleased and if both parties are doing it, then it also manifests into better emotional communication and understanding and makes it easier to be vulnerable.” - Hardik.
9. “A relationship anyway invites a lot of stress and *** is supposed to be a release, a stress buster. Which makes it all the more special and important to have comfort in. Not to forget the post-*** cuddles which are just as important to forge a bond.” - Saurav.

There was a time when we used to wish we could work from home more often. It would save us a leave of absence, all the trouble of commuting, getting stuck in traffic and a lot more hassle and still get our job done in the comfort of our homes.
Little did we know 2020 would make this dream a reality and we would be forced to work from home indefinitely.
© iStock
Although it was a big relief and an interesting change in the beginning, after more than a year of working from home (working from bed, actually), I don’t think I would ever ask for a WFH from my boss. Why? Because it has gotten so boring and annoying.
Let’s not even talk about the back problems and eyesight issues that have gotten worse because of it.
© iStock
Apart from the tea breaks with my colleagues and fun discussions in the meeting rooms, what I miss the most is getting up from bed, getting ready and heading off to a different place to work.
Also, at the end of the day, I would come back and jump on my couch because that was a space specifically for leisure and R&R. The line is now completely blurred.
© iStock
If you feel the same way, here are 5 places away from home you can work remotely, until the office resumes. These are some chill places you can take your work to (with proper safety precautions, of course) and get out of the rut of WFH, at least for a while:
1. Cafes & Coffee Shops © iStock
A lot of freelance employees already think of cafes and coffee shops as the best place to work as you get caffeine, a snack and even free wifi at some places.
You can be around people, eat and start your work with a delicious cup of coffee.
2. Coworking Spaces © iStock
There are coworking spaces that you can book and get the same feel of that of an office if you are missing your desk, the sound of printers and meeting rooms.
Although a bit pricey, these places are buzzing with young professionals and are quite popular these days.
3. A Friend’s House © iStock
Why not get together with your work friends or your college squad at someone’s house, order some food online and make working from home actually fun?
Also, you can always rant about the pandemic, never-ending deadlines, bugging clients together just like old times.
4. A Local Library © iStock
If you spent your childhood in a local library, you will love working from one too. You can get the ambience, seriousness and silence to work in peace.
What’s more interesting is that you can take a short break from work by reading your favourite book while you are there.
5. Book An Airbnb © iStock
Think you cannot travel and work from the hills or with a beautiful sea view?
Now that most places have relaxed travel restrictions, you can book an Airbnb in another city or your own just to take a relaxing break from the same desk (or bed) at home.
You can also wind up early and explore other places in a different city or town.

Dhanush has been around for a while, having made his debut in 2011 with Thulluvado Ilamai. Since then, he’s gone on to forge quite the reputation as a reliable hitmaker.
However, he’s evolved as an actor over the years, taking on meatier, grittier and more socially relevant causes as the subjects for his films.
Let’s take a look at 5 incredible movies by Dhanush that show his acting skills are truly hatke:
1. AsuranAn adaptation of Poomani’s novel, Vekkai, Asuran is a fantastic film that keeps us gripped with its grit and action from the first frame.
Dhanush plays Sivaswamy, a small farmer from an oppressed caste who is forced to confront Narasimhan, a rich upper caste landlord, after the death of his elder son.
His performance was astounding and has rightfully received immense critical acclaim.
2. Vada ChennaiIt’s a cult, gangster classic where we have the tremendously talented Dhanush playing Anbu, a small-time criminal with a penchant for carrom.
The narrative is non-linear as it goes back and forth in time to build the story. It’s an undeniable epic with Dhanush impressing as always.
3. Kaadhal Kondein The second film in Dhanush’s illustrious career, Kaadhal Kondein gave him his breakout role as Vinod, a quietly eccentric and unsettling character.
While he may look seemingly unassuming at first, Dhanush magnificently brings out his character’s darker intentions in his attempts to win the affections of his love interest.
A controversial role that early in his fledgling career showed the risks Dhanush was willing to take for his craft.
4. Karnan With Karnan, Dhanush exceeded the already lofty expectations set by his body of work.
He truly immersed himself into his character, letting unbridled rage and sheer agony be visible on his face as Karnan fights systemic oppressions that have been inflicted upon him and his fellow villagers.
5. Aadukalam Rooster fighting is an age-old practice that is still prevalent in rural Tamil Nadu. In Aadukalam, the premise revolves around this taboo sport and Karuppu’s passion for it.
At first, it might seem like that’s all there is to it, but the movie covers subjects such as politics, treachery, violence, romance and drama as well.
Dhanush rightfully earned a National Award for his portrayal of Karuppu.
Let’s be honest, Dhanush is undoubtedly a generational talent. We’re excited to see what more has to come from this new age superstar!
Which are your favourite films by Dhanush? Let us know in the comments below.

Who doesn’t know of Rajnikanth? Any discussions about the ‘best’ actor in India slowly gets pushed into the realm of Rajinikanth vs others. And rightfully so, as he's dominated an entire film industry in a way no one else has.
Perhaps, MGR (Maruthur Gopala Menon Ramachandran) may be the only one who’s managed to come close to the reverence Rajinikanth enjoys.
In an era where Bollywood was the moneymaker’s industry of choice, he forged a name for himself as Thalaiva in Tamil Cinema, earning love and affection across the globe.
Here are 6 reasons why Thalaiva will always be one of India’s biggest superstars ever
1. Humble Beginnings © Avargal, Kalakendra Movies
Everyone’s beloved Rajinikanth did not come from the world of cinema, he was originally a bus conductor with the Bangalore Transport Service, even working as a coolie prior to this.
It was K. Balachander who noticed a young Rajinikanth learning the craft at Madras Film Institute.
2. The Everyman © Moondru Mudichu, RMS Productions
While other actors of the time played characters that were more interested in being held on a pedestal, Rajinikanth (like MGR) took up roles that showed the struggles of the ordinary man, who rose to the occasion against all odds.
He initially made his presence in the Tamil film industry through negative roles in Apoorva Raagangal and Moondru Mudichu.
3. A Hero To Root For Let’s get it out of the way, Rajinikanth's films have been infamous for over the top action.
Often called the Indian Chuck Norris, Rajinikanth’s films have spawned an entire genre of satire. Most of the action has been physics-defying and mind-boggling, however, the reason why the audience resonates with such scenes is because it makes them feel empowered.
He’s rarely shown punching below his weight, he always takes on the bigger evils in society. Even in Baasha, he takes on an entire crowd all by himself. A hero to root for, indeed.
View this post on Instagram
4. Off-Screen Persona Rajinikanth’s off-screen persona is a stark contrast to the characters he plays in front of the camera. He isn’t pretentious about what he looks like, choosing instead to be simple and humble in his public appearances.
Often publicly exclaiming, “Nowadays unnatural has become common. I like being myself.”
View this post on Instagram
5. Midas Touch It’s rare that an actor of his age is still able to command a hold on the audience the way he does, but that’s what makes Rajinikanth extraordinary.
He’s kept up with the times as is evident with Kaala and Kabali. He finds a way to play characters that inspire, even in modern-day cinema.
While the elder statesmen of Bollywood such as Amitabh Bachchan may have seen their powers wane considerably, Rajinikanth is still going strong.
View this post on Instagram
6. Made It Big Despite Bollywood © Hum, Dharma Productions
Rajinikanth is no stranger to Bollywood, having made numerous forays into the industry in the 80s with Andhaa Kaanoon, Geraftaar, and Hum to mixed reception. Most actors would have been disheartened by these efforts, not Rajinikanth.
He came back to the Tamil film industry and ended up building a legacy that has outlasted his contemporaries like Amitabh Bachchan.
Rajinikanth has been a blessing for the Indian film industry as a whole. While a majority of his body of work might be in Tamil, he still found a way to transcend boundaries in a way only Thalaiva could.

“Disgusting”, “shameful”, “sick”, “dirty”, are just a few words on top of my head that are often hurled at people who indulge in the act of masturbation.
Not because there is anything really wrong with pleasuring yourself, but because of the taboos around it that have contributed to its infamous reputation.
It wouldn’t matter if you’re single or in a relationship, the guilt you’re accumulating will have very little to do with your partner (or lack thereof) and more to do with the society that has managed to convey to you just how sinful the act of masturbation is. Not natural or healthy, but sinful. And that right there, is where the problem arises from.
© Eros International
No wonder men feel like thieves, tip-toeing around their own pleasure for the fear of being judged too hard or called perverts for doing something natural and with their consent.
Even though our bodies were designed to experience such pleasure, our minds have been told it’s wrong and hence, we experience what is called post-masturbation guilt.
But unlike what your parents or your peers may make you feel, here is why you shouldn’t feel such guilt:
1. It Can Help You Know More About Yourself © iStock
Usually, when we feel unsatisfied in bed with our partners, it is because we ourselves don’t know our bodies well enough in order to direct them through it. Which is where masturbation comes in.
It not only helps you achieve that satisfaction but also allows you to find your trigger points for that release and know what works for you.
2. It Helps You Release Stress © iStock
A scientifically proven method to relieve stress and help one relax, masturbation is one of the healthiest acts of self-love and self-care.
It helps you release endorphins as and when you orgasm, which in turn makes you feel good, relaxed and a lot lighter. In fact, in a lot of cases, it has also helped people fall asleep.
3. It Helps Improve Your Body Image © iStock
An underrated opinion, but masturbation has a way of making one feel good about their bodies too.
The act of pleasuring oneself involves touching and loving their bodies, which can be empowering for those who struggle with body image issues and consciousness.
It can help you feel sexy, desired and all the more confident, which, in my opinion, is a win!

"Not all men". This phrase is making more sense with each passing day. Why? Because there are stereotypes that are imposed on men as soon as they take their first breath and are seen from the same lens till their death.
Statements like “all boys are into sports” or “he must be a car or bike fanatic” are casually thrown by people who think all men are built the same way. However, that is far from true.
© Bright/Kauffman/Crane Productions
Not all men like action movies or think it’s cool to smoke just because society thinks it’s okay for a guy. Men have their own preferences be it movies, interests or anything in the universe.
This is not the 1700s and men cannot be defined by or confined to a few macho things anymore.
© Aamir Khan Productions
A group of men recently discussed all the ‘manly things’ that they are supposed to like but in fact, find quite unappealing.
From strip clubs to fights, not all men are into those things. And, this Reddit thread is one of the most relatable and wholesome discussions that men are having.
© Bays & Thomas Productions
Here are some manly things that men confessed to not liking, despite being expected to by society:
1. Strip Clubs Aren’t That Exciting For All Men"Especially strip clubs. The idea of having to pay for a woman to touch me is just a sad thought. Also being surrounded by a bunch of horny dudes doesn’t sound like a good time"
2. Hunting? Killing Animals Shouldn't Be Manly Or Fun “Hunting. I grew up in the country and hunted as a kid. As an adult, there are so many other things I'd rather do than go sit in the cold for several hours.”
3. A Man Is A Man Even If He Doesn’t Like To Smoke A Cigar"Cigar smoking. Every time I’ve tried it can’t get the taste out for days."
© iStock
4. If You Are The Man, You Must Mow The Lawn. No!“Mowing the lawn. That shit is a chore, not a passion project.”
5. Beer. Or Any Alcohol Really“Guys are suppose to like Beer for some reason and to me it’s disgusting.”
6. Not Every Man Is Into Cars. And, That’s Okay"Cars. I will never understand why so many guys spent so much money adding large spoilers or loud exhausts or body kits...it always seemed like a huge waste of money IMO."
© iStock
7. When Did Sports Become Gender-Specific?“I couldn't care less about sports of any kind and that often gets me some side-eyes from other men.”
8. Action Movies Are Fun. Not For Everyone, Though. "Action movies are boring as f**k, honestly. I know car chases and shootouts and explosions and plane crashes are meant to be exciting, but they're the total opposite to me."

Do you relate to any of these?

Let’s be honest, with so many languages, music streaming services and some really good singers and musicians, we are not really facing a dearth of options when it comes to good music.
© BCCL
And yet, we cannot help but get hooked to some bizarre, out of place, and sometimes very problematic songs. Call it a guilty pleasure, or actual pleasure, but some of our choices should really make us reconsider our whole lives.
© BCCL
We take a look at a few cringe songs which went viral for very bizarre reasons, but we can’t stop humming.
1. Bachpan Ka Pyaar
We start with the most recent one, Bachpan Ka Pyaar. The original song was released on YouTube over 3 years ago, but all of a sudden, it gained massive popularity after a 2-year-old video of a boy named Sahdev Dirdo went viral. Heck, Chhattisgarh’s CM, Bhupesh Bhugel actually felicitated the boy.
Here’s the original version of the song, sung in Hindi by a Gujrati singer, Kamlesh Barot -
2. Rinkia Ke Papa
The memes that this song had generated were hilarious. Although, not as hilarious and catchy as the song. We genuinely wonder what made this song pop on all of our radars, after almost 5-6 years of its release.
PS - Here’s one of our most favourite versions of this song in a meme, that combines two cultural phenomena.
3. Baby Beer Peeke
Still can’t believe that a mainstream politician actually sang this song. Ignoring the blatant sexism that was there in the song, the meme-worthiness of this gem of a piece knew no bounds, especially during the 2019 Delhi Elections. Again, it is baffling that how a six-year-old ‘B-grade’ music video became the talk of the town.
4. Its My Life - Vennu Mallesh
This gem of a piece was written, composed and sung by a guy called Vennu Mallesh. Now, it isn’t as catchy as the rest of the stuff here, but it is damn funny. Remember when Whatsapp was pretty new and iOS users had to pay annually for WhatsApp? This was the song that was forwarded like crazy.
5. Aye Raja Raja Kareja Me Samaja
Believe it or not, but T-series, the world’s most subscribed YouTube Channel, actually produced and recorded this song. Don’t ask us what the song is going on about, we are simply not capable of doing that. The song is epic because of its meme-ability, and how viral it went.
6. I-spider Man
It is not Spiderman, but I-Spiderman, who steals everyone’s ‘dil ka chain.’ This was a song that was maximum cringe and maximum fun all at the same time. The sheer number of times we laughed out like mad people while listening to this one is just countless.

We all have heard that irrespective of whether you win or lose, the most important thing for any athlete is to exhibit true sportsman spirit and respect the opponent, but we have often seen athletes indulging in unsportsmanlike behaviour, bringing themselves and their country down.
One such incident occurred at the Tokyo Olympics on Tuesday when Morocco’s boxer Youness Baalla tried to bite the ear of David Nyika -- his fellow boxer from New Zealand.
© Reuters
“Did you see that?” Nyika said after the bout. “I don't think the ref did. She was closest to me. He didn’t get a full mouthful. Luckily he had his mouthguard in and I was a bit sweaty.
“I don't remember what I said to him but I gave him a little bit of a cheek. I have been bitten once on the chest before at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. But c’mon, this is the Olympics,” said the NZ pugilist.
