"Not all men". This phrase is making more sense with each passing day. Why? Because there are stereotypes that are imposed on men as soon as they take their first breath and are seen from the same lens till their death. 

Statements like “all boys are into sports” or “he must be a car or bike fanatic” are casually thrown by people who think all men are built the same way. However, that is far from true.

Not all men like action movies or think it’s cool to smoke just because society thinks it’s okay for a guy. Men have their own preferences be it movies, interests or anything in the universe. 

This is not the 1700s and men cannot be defined by or confined to a few macho things anymore.

A group of men recently discussed all the ‘manly things’ that they are supposed to like but in fact, find quite unappealing. 

From strip clubs to fights, not all men are into those things. And, this Reddit thread is one of the most relatable and wholesome discussions that men are having.

1. Strip Clubs Aren’t That Exciting For All Men

"Especially strip clubs. The idea of having to pay for a woman to touch me is just a sad thought. Also being surrounded by a bunch of horny dudes doesn’t sound like a good time"

2. Hunting? Killing Animals Shouldn't Be Manly Or Fun 

“Hunting. I grew up in the country and hunted as a kid. As an adult, there are so many other things I'd rather do than go sit in the cold for several hours.”

3. A Man Is A Man Even If He Doesn’t Like To Smoke A Cigar

"Cigar smoking. Every time I’ve tried it can’t get the taste out for days."

“Mowing the lawn. That shit is a chore, not a passion project.”

5. Beer. Or Any Alcohol Really

“Guys are suppose to like Beer for some reason and to me it’s disgusting.”

8. Action Movies Are Fun. Not For Everyone, Though.
