We all have heard that irrespective of whether you win or lose, the most important thing for any athlete is to exhibit true sportsman spirit and respect the opponent, but we have often seen athletes indulging in unsportsmanlike behaviour, bringing themselves and their country down.
One such incident occurred at the Tokyo Olympics on Tuesday when Morocco’s boxer Youness Baalla tried to bite the ear of David Nyika -- his fellow boxer from New Zealand.

“Did you see that?” Nyika said after the bout. “I don't think the ref did. She was closest to me. He didn’t get a full mouthful. Luckily he had his mouthguard in and I was a bit sweaty.
“I don't remember what I said to him but I gave him a little bit of a cheek. I have been bitten once on the chest before at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. But c’mon, this is the Olympics,” said the NZ pugilist.
