Kejriwal’s obsession with mocking the PM is a fact that is known to the entire nation. So, recently when Modi tweeted about meeting his mother before starting his day, Kejriwal couldn’t help but make a joke out of that.
Skipped Yoga & went to meet mother. Before dawn had breakfast with her. Was great spending time together.
    — Narendra Modi (@narendramodi) January 10, 2017 So apparently skipping Yoga and meeting his mother didn’t go down too well with our CM .

    — Arvind Kejriwal (@ArvindKejriwal) January 10, 2017 Of course, Twiterrati returned the favour of giving him a piece of their mind and we all know how that turns out.

If you’re ever that lucky, you’ll get to attend one of his talks. If you’re the chosen one, you’ll get to work with his research team. But, you probably aren’t. I sure as hell am not.
I was just one of the few human beings to have lived in a time when I get to understand his contribution to science and, by a default extension, humanity. You might think I’m exaggerating. Hell, maybe I am, even. But, think about it. If we can eulogise personalities like a Donald Trump to the point where he can take over the Oval office; a Stephen Hawking is really one of the best choices you can make while choosing ‘men of recognition’. But, here’s the real reason why I think Stephen Hawking is hands down one of the most intelligent human beings alive.
    © Hawking.Org
He did 10 times as much as you and I could ever do; and he did it without his limbs. The man exemplifies the idea of a beautiful mind. He’s going on to his 75th year now and he’s still as bright as most of the millennial population of the world, put together will ever be.
And he does all of this as someone with what you normal folk would call a ‘disability’. But, here’s the thing; Hawking has a knack of turning that word around on its head.
Diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gherig’s disease, at the age of 21, doctors had already pronounced the finality of his life. But, he fought it and became a man whose entire life has been a treasure trove of knowledge so enriching, it wouldn’t be affordable to the richest man on the planet. Okay, exaggeration, maybe but, I wouldn’t be so sure.
    © Reddit
The nature of his condition was such that it slowly paralysed Hawking so that he could not perform any bodily functions. To add to it, he was hospitalized in 1985 with pneumonia and an emergency tracheotomy left him without the ability to ever talk again. But, that never got in the way of his magnanimous contributions to cosmology, general relativity and quantum gravity. He went ahead to prove that Albert Einstein’s General Theory of Relativity actually meant that space and time would have had a beginning in the Big Bang and would have an end in black holes.
He published a book in 1998, A Brief History of Time which sold more than 10 million copies across the world and became a bestseller. No, it wasn’t jargon. It was plain simple English that you and I can understand.
    © Instagram
He remains, to this date one of the most popular voices on space theories and cosmology; who not only knows how to tell it like it is; but he does so with a sense of wit and humour that most wouldn’t even get.
Did his disability ever hold him back? No. Did it factor in any of his achievements or accidents? Never.
Whatever the man accomplished and made for himself was all because he had a beautiful mind, a set vision and a belief system too strong for anyone to shake.
And that’s the only reason why Stephen Hawking should be a role model to anyone out there. Because his message is clear:
“My advice to other disabled people would be, concentrate on things your disability doesn't prevent you doing well, and don't regret the things it interferes with. Don't be disabled in spirit as well as physically.”

There is no dearth of talent in India and it seems that every other day the world is getting a glimpse of it. Not that we are boasting or anything but Indians have proved their mettle in almost every field. While actresses like Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone are making it big in Hollywood, the people working behind the camera aren’t too far from tasting success. Without further ado, let’s introduce Parag Havaldar, an IIT Kharagpur alumnus, who will soon be honoured with the prestigious ‘Technical Oscar’ i.e. Scientific & Technical Award 2017 by the Academy of Motion Pictures and Sciences. Until now, there are only 5 Indians who have won Academy Awards.
    © Twitter
Parag graduated in the year 1991 with a degree in computer science and engineering and is a software supervisor at Sony Pictures Imageworks. He is being awarded for “the development of expression-based facial performance-capture technology at Sony Pictures Imageworks.” This technology that he and his team developed is used to create stylized character animations.
Just in case you are wondering how talented this guy is? Well, some of his popular works include ‘Watchmen’, ‘Green Lantern’, ‘Hancock’, ‘Beowulf’, and ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’. Parag will be awarded a certificate from the Academy on February 11.
    © Global Panorama
“It is heartening to see how Parag’s interest in image processing, which germinated from project work at IIT-Kgp, has flowered into a technical art which has now been recognized by the prestigious award,” said P P Chakraborty, Parag’s proud teacher and IIT-Kgp director.
Reportedly, The Scientific & Technical Awards were first presented at the 4th Academy Awards ceremony in the year 1931. Given the talent-house Parag is, he has many feathers in his cap of hard-work. He is also a part-time teacher of multimedia at the University of Southern California, from where he pursued his PhD in computer vision and graphics.

This is the final goodbye from MS Dhoni, the captain. The guy who renounced his captaincy for a younger chief-in-waiting, smashed the English lineup for 68 runs in just 40 balls at a strike rate of 170. He hit eight fours and two sixes in his scintillating knock at Brabourne Stadium.
    © BCCL
A good crowd had built up to watch Dhoni captain the side for the last time in an international game and he acknowledged this support and love from his fans at the toss. He, however, started off slow as he took the crease but got into the groove in the death overs. He scored 23 runs in the final over and showed that he is ready to play like he did when he first arrived on the international scene, under Virat Kohli. This is the last game Dhoni will ever captain for India internationally, if we exclude his IPL formalities.
    © BCCL
The Indian team wears an unsettled look as of right now with plenty of players vying for at least three spots in the squad. Manish Pandey, Ambati Rayudu and Sanju Samson don’t quite fit right into the team as of now and will need to prove their worth on the international scene and make the middle order a little more stable with their performances.
    © BCCL
The Indian team will bank on Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni as experienced players to finish off the games. Dhoni will fit in the finisher’s role quite comfortably now that he is free from managing an entire squad. The first ODI against England at Pune will provide a glimpse into the post Dhoni captaincy era and plenty of changes are expected to find a suitable mix of players before the champions trophy in June.

Last month, renders of a new device were leaked and it was assumed that it would be the new Moto X (2017 versions). There were some hands-on pictures and then there were reports that the phone will be sold as the Moto C. However, new leaked images by a Romanian dude who is trying to sell the phone on OLX revealed that the next phone on Lenovo/Motorola's agenda is the Moto G5 Plus.
    © OLX
The phone is the immediate successor to the G4 Plus from last year and these images prove that Lenovo can announce the phone anytime soon.
    © OLX
The prototype of the G5 Plus is listed on OLX and is gives us a good idea about the specs and the build quality of the phone. The user details that the Moto G5 Plus is set to launch in March 2017 and the phone is said to have a 13 MP primary camera, a 5MP selfie camera, 5.5-inch display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 chipset, 32 GB of built-in storage, 4 GM of RAM and a 3,080 mAh battery.
    © OLX
The phone will also run Android 7.0 Nougat and will have a fingerprint sensor on the front. The model number as described by the seller is XT1685 and is currently being sold on the marketplace for $387.

HDFC, India’s second largest private bank, on Monday, revealed that they will be deploying humanoid IRA (intelligent robotic assistance) to provide assistance to the bank’s customers.
    © Facebook
The country head for digital banking, Nitin Chugh, said “The humanoid will be operational at one of the branches of HDFC Bank, in about two weeks’ time,” He also said that more ‘humanoids’ will be deployed after sometime, based on the response received from customers.
    © Reuters
“We are evaluating all kinds of use-cases on blockchain, including document management, KYC (know-your-customer) and transaction processing, among others,” said Chugh. “However, it is early days for this and we have not come across mature models in India. We are also interested in network blockchain, where multiple banks come together for this technology.”
    © Reuters
This step is part of an Artificial Intelligence project that began last year with an aim to improve the company’s technological capability. Apart from Artificial Intelligence, HDFC also aims to focus on areas such as Internet of Things (IoT), block chain, Virtual Reality (VR) and rural fintech, to enhance customers’ banking experience.
    © Reuters
HDFC claims that the bank now has 71 percent of its financial transactions carried out through the internet and mobile phones. Keeping in mind, the increasing involvement of the Indian public in internet banking, more and more banks in India are adopting Artificial Intelligence and robotics.
In November of 2016, City Union Bank had launched Lakshmi, a robot which is capable of answering about 125 questions from interest rates charged by the bank to product details.  ICICI Bank, Axis Bank and YES Bank have also recently started using robotic technology.
It really looks like the future is here and if you’re not impressed, just remember these robots are only the first version. Can you imagine what life will be like in 30 years? We sure can’t!

Fashion bloggers have a knack for wearing cool clothes and some of them are responsible for creating sartorial combos that eventually go on to become street style trends. In search of fashion gold (read: inspiration), we stalked the Insta-wardrobes of some of our favorite fashion bloggers to unearth what the cool kids are talking about (and wearing) in 2017 (so far)!

Whenever we talk about external racism and discrimination, most of us sympathise with Indians who are being ill-treated in other countries. In fact, we often go all out to support them and fight against the racism they go through. But, just like there are two sides to a coin, hypocrisy is something really hard to ignore. On one hand where people constantly rant about external discrimination, the same set of people don’t think twice before calling anyone from the North-East a ‘Chinky’ or ‘Momo Wala’, let alone consider them a part of this country. And this incident has yet again proved the same that discrimination breeds inside India as well.

A really shameful incident took place recently where a group of students were allegedly barred from entering the Taj Mahal by CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) personnel who thought they weren’t Indian enough! The students were asked to produce proof of their nationality. A complaint has been lodged with the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) and an inquiry has already been ordered.
The students were from the Central Agricultural University, Imphal and were visiting Taj Mahal as a part of a Pan-India educational tour. What’s worse, they were apparently stopped because they looked like foreigners, trying to pass off as Indians to get cheaper tickets – Indians pay Rs. 40 per ticket while foreign tourists, other than those from SAARC and BIMSTEC countries, are charged Rs. 1000 per ticket.
    © Pixabay
Despite producing their ID cards and a letter stating the details of their national tour, the personnel were not satisfied and argued with the students and a professor accompanying the group. They allowed only those students who carried their Aadhaar cards. It was only after the local tourism police intervened that the students were allowed to enter. RP Pandey, SHO of the Tourism police station said, “The students alleged that CISF personnel misbehaved with them and that they were asked to show their nationality proof. They then called the tourism police, who reached the spot and intervened to allow the students to enter.” Reportedly, the security staff has been asked to provide CCTV footage of the main gates and the matter is being investigated after these serious allegations.

CES 2017 wrapped up last Sunday and there were some interesting, some bizarre and some groundbreaking products that were announced. Amazon’s Alexa has been thrown in everything imaginable, even a damn car. However since there were so many things that were revealed at CES, we list down some of the top gadgets that really caught our eye.
    Honda’s Self-Balancing Bike
Honda has beaten BMW to the punch and showcased the company’s own self-balancing bike that uses a ‘Riding Assistant’ in order to achieve this amazing feat. However, the bike needs to be moving at a speed less than 5 km/ hour. Basically, this will definitely come in handy when you are stuck in a massive traffic jam or have a long wait at a traffic light. The self-balancing mechanism will also work when the rider is not onboard, i.e. the bike will never be left off balance, even if you are not by its side.
Honda launched this as a concept but as we can see that it works like a charm. The tech is so useful that you might expect to see it on bikes very soon.
    Razer’s Mind Boggling Three-Screen Laptop  © Razer
The ****? Yes, that was my exact reaction when I heard about this insane laptop. ‘Project Valerie’ is a prototype of a gaming laptop that uses not one but THREE 4K displays. No doubt, the inclusion of three screens is nuts, however, these three 17.3-inch screens can push millions of pixels with a stupendous refresh rate. Intel’s Kaby Lake processor and Nvidia’s GTX 1080 video card power the laptop. The two monitors slide out of the main monitor and make it easy for storage, in case you are on the move.
Super Retro Boy  © Retro Bit
The NES Classic Edition sold like hot cakes the moment it hit the streets and it proves that people will pay anything to get their hands on some nostalgic piece of gaming gear. These people (like me) are obsessed with retro games and there is nothing more classic that Nintendo’s classic Game Boy.
Retro-Bit made a custom/modded iteration of the classic Game Boy that uses cartridges from the original Game Boy and Game Boy Color in order to play your classic games. If you thought that wasn’t enough, the Retro Boy also lets you play GBA cartridges which make this an all-in-one piece of gaming gear.
Lego Now Makes Robots Too © LEGO
Lego has been infamous for making some of the most popular sandbox building toys in mankind’s history. However, the company has upped the ante as they have now introduced robots that can be built by their customers. Lego Boost, as they like to call it, is Lego’s latest concept which lets us finally build robotic toys. These robots can be controlled by Lego Boost’s companion app as well. You can drag and drop different actions on the app so that you can control the robot.
A TV that disappears © BCCL
TVs are among the most popular pieces of tech showcased at CES and this year was no different. We can finally say that the CURVED gimmick, which many companies tried to sell us, has finally gone out of the window.
However, the trend amongst TV companies like LG, Sony, Samsung and various others is that all of the hardware that is used by TVs including ports are now housed in a separate box. Sony’s subwoofer is now also used to home the TV’s guts and can also be used as a TV stand.
    © LG
However, LG won the show as they introduced their latest TV the ‘W7’. This TV has an OLED screen, which is only 2.5mm thick. That is thinner than any smartphone ever made and is also thinner than our fingers. Literally, everything that might use to power the TV is all jammed into a Dolby Atmos soundbar.
    ASUS Zenfone AR  © ASUS
The Asus Zenfone AR is probably the first phone that has pushed every boundary imaginable by a smartphone. The device promises the use of both virtual reality and augmented reality via Google’s Tango project. No other smartphone in existence is doing this and it takes a lot of guts for a company to imlement both on a single device. The phone has 8GB of RAM and three camera sensors to do justice to the said features. It even has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 processor and features a 5.7-inch AMOLED display.

Ronaldo, who had a successful year for both club and country, had scored an incredible 16 goals in 12 games to win the Champions League title. He also led his country to the first ever Euro Cup with an amazing turnaround in the knock-out stages.
"2016 was the best year of my career, it was a year that was magnificent at a personal level and at a sports level," Ronaldo said after being handed the prize from FIFA President Gianni Infantino.

Claudio Ranieri, Leicester City’s coach and manager was awarded the best men’s coach award for the miraculous Premier League title win last year. This was the first time after disassociating from France Football Magazine for the Ballon d’Or that FIFA successfully organized the new series of awards.

Does the name Taurine sound familiar? Well, yes, if you are someone who drinks Red Bull frequently and have actually cared to check the ingredients. For those who haven’t, you can check out the word “Taurine” written in a stylish font at the back of the can. There`s a reason why it’s added to Red Bull and if you weren’t aware, we’re going to break it down for y’all.
What is Taurine? © Thinkstock/Getty Images
Taurine is an organic compound, a naturally occurring amino acid which is found in high concentration in white blood cells, skeletal muscles, the central nervous system and as well as in the heart muscles. It is a major component of bile (bile helps in digestion of fat) in humans. It’s found in the large intestine and accounts for up to 0.1% of your total bodyweight.
Is It An Essential or Non-essential Amino acid? © Thinkstock/Getty Images
For those of you who are hearing these terms for the first time, let me clear them doubts for you. Amino acids are the basic building blocks of proteins which are categorized into two types:-
Essential Amino Acids :-  These cannot be made by the body. As a result, they must come from food or supplements. The 9 essential amino acids are: histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, and valine.
Non-Essential Amino acids:-These are made by the body itself but some of these can be termed ‘conditionally essential’ as well.  That is because external dosage becomes essential under conditions of physical stress or trauma, when the body cannot produce a sufficient amount to meet demand. Some conditionally essential amino acids are: glutamine, arginine, cysteine and ‘taurine’.
What It (Possibly) Can Do  © Thinkstock/Getty Images
Not all supplements act the same way on every consumer. Effects of supplements are very subjective, that’s why we used the word ‘possibly’.
    1. Strength Gains:-It can act similarly to Creatine, increasing cell hydration. Not only will this make muscles appear fuller but also provide indirect stimulus for anabolism.
    2. Fat Oxidation:-In some studies, acute ingestion of 1.66 g of Taurine before exercise resulted in a small but significant increase in fat oxidation during sub-maximal cycling in endurance-trained cyclists.
    3. Improved Pumps:- Taurine has been shown to participate in the excitation-contraction coupling mechanism in skeletal muscles, which means that it affects the transmission of an electrical signal into muscle fibers. This has obvious importance in ensuring optimal muscle performance, which eventually leads to enhancement in gains.
    4. Improved (Aerobic) Athletic Performance:- A study published by Japanese researchers in 2003 examined 11 men aged 18 to 20, who were told to perform bicycle exercises until they were exhausted. After taking taurine supplements for seven days (each time, before their workout), the men showed significant increases in VO2max (the maximum capacity of a person's body to transport and use oxygen) and time until exhaustion sets in. The researchers credited the improvement to taurine's antioxidant activity and protection of cellular properties
    5. Taurine and Stress:- Taurine has the ability to calm the CNS, or central nervous system. It can work to reduce anxiety and stress levels as well. Low taurine intake can leave your central nervous system prone to stress and chronic high stress levels. As I mentioned in the start, since it’s a conditionally essential amino, its requirement can go up when an athlete is under physical or mental stress.
Dietary Sources Of Taurine Fish , Meat ,Chicken, Egg, whole milk and cheese
How To Supplement With Taurine Consume 1-3gm a day, 30 minutes before workout.
    Other Important Things About Taurine
    • Apart from its performance-enhancing benefits, it is also being heavily researched as an anti-diabetic compound due to its effects on various organs of the body of most concern to diabetics (kidney, eye, and nerve health) as well as controlling blood sugar while reducing some forms of insulin resistance.
    • Due to the multiple benefits it offers, it is a supplement which old people/Vegans/Athletes with medical conditions discussed above can benefit highly from.
    • More research is needed in healthy athletes and particularly for strength athletes and bodybuilders to determine the complete effects of taurine.

    Name/Author: Sumit Singh Marwah
Time taken to transform: 3+ years
It all started in 2008. I was in the 11th standard and my friends had this new found love for smoking and drinking. But it never attracted me. I always had a thing for things that are hard-earned and not easily bought. One day, I asked my brother for a video game CD, he gave me the CD of the movie 'Pumping Iron’ instead and that was the day it all started. I was so fascinated watching that movie and it totally influenced me. I decided to join a gym. I went to the gym and told the trainer that I wanted to be like Arnold. He mocked me and said everybody wants to be like him and it’s very difficult. I got a bit low but deep inside I was determined. So I started working out and in around 6 months I started getting results. My nutrition was still off.

I started getting knowledge online about nutrition and found that protein was something I was lacking so I started eating a lot of eggs and chicken. As much as 80% of my pocket money was spent on completing my protein requirement.2 years passed but I was still the same. That time I realized one thing that bodybuilding requires consistency. So I promised myself to be consistent and never skipped gym for the next 2 years. Again, the results were there but not as expected. I was getting bigger but there was no vascularity in my body. I consulted my trainer and he told me that I am taking good amount of protein but that’s not how it goes.

He told me to cut all fats and carbohydrates from my diet. I did that and saw some results but I was getting weaker and thinner instead of bigger and stronger. My parents were worried as well since I had stopped eating home-cooked food. My immunity had gone for a toss. I started adding carbs back and even fat into my diet. Now I was getting stronger. Over all these years I learned, applied and failed. But I never gave up. While everybody around me was injecting steroids I decided to stay natural and built my physique from scratch. Today I work in a corporate job and I am still ripped and in good health.

A BSF Jawan is going against the system and risking his own life by exposing some shameful truths about the level of corruption within the Defence Forces of our country. The internet is obviously as outraged as much as it is heartbroken.
BSF Jawan Tej Bahadur of the 29th battalion made 4 videos, highlighting how difficult it is to survive in such extreme weather conditions and how the jawans along the border at Jammu and Kashmir are not even fed properly. The quality of food they are served, for a 10 hour shift everyday, is a real matter of shame for the whole country. Watch this video and see for yourselves.

He revealed his identity and also urged everyone to share the video as much as possible, because he is afraid his life might be at risk for taking such a bold step against higher officials. Jawan Tej Bahadur raised a very important question about the survival of Indian soldiers, the heroes who make sure the rest of country can sleep safe and it is something that needs to be addressed immediately.

He reveals that the rations sent by the government are sold off in markets and the food that reaches the soldiers is so substandard, it’s impossible to even survive on it, forget about performing well. “Mai sarkar ko dosh nahi deta. Sarkar humey sab kuch deti hai. Ye adhikari hain jo sab kuch bahar bech detey hain. Iski jaanch honi chahiye,” he says.

These videos have been going viral and the matter seems to have escalated quickly, and rightly so.

These incredible videos highlight what nobody will ever tell you about the Defence Forces of India. Here’s hoping Jawan Tej Bahadur’s videos bring about a much needed revolution because the men who protect us everyday deserve so much more than this.

Nitesh Tiwari’s Aamir Khan starrer wrestling movie ‘Dangal’ which was released this Christmas has officially broken records and become Bollywood’s highest grosser of all times. This record was previously held by Aamir Khan’s own movie ‘PK’ and before that it belonged to ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan.’

Aamir Khan is of course no stranger to breaking such records as his ‘Ghajini’ was the first Bollywood film to cross Rs 100 cr and ‘3 Idiots’ was the first to cross Rs 200 cr whereas his PK was the one that created Rs 300 crore-club and was subsequently followed by Salman khan’s 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' and 'Sultan'.

Now, if we talk numbers, the movie has collected Rs 31.79 crore domestically over its third weekend, taking its box office business to a total of Rs 345.3 core whereas 'PK' had earned Rs 340.8 crore in its lifetime. Yuvraj Singh’s comeback into the Indian team will be a good debating point when India takes on England in Pune for the first ODI under the leadership of Virat Kohli. Yuvraj, who has had a good run in the domestic season before he took a wedding break, will want to perform well in home condition especially with the Champions Trophy coming up later in the year.
After his comeback into the Indian team, the Indian batsman sat down for a quick chat with BCCI TV and these are the five takeaways from the conversation.
It Takes A Lot Of Effort To Tide Through Tough Times And Make It Back To The ODI Squad After Three Years © BCCL
Yuvraj Singh has been away from international cricket for a long time. This was the result of a policy undertaken by Dhoni who wanted to develop younger players for the future and now that Kohli is at the helm of affairs, those policies are bound to change. Yuvraj, if he plays in the first ODI against England, will make a comeback after three years in ODIs and it will be a big achievement for him considering the declining shelf life of players today. No matter what people say, Yuvraj has still some cricket left in him but nobody knows for sure till when he will continue, not even Yuvraj himself.
And All It Takes Is One Game To Get Back Into The Groove © BCCL
He is fluent when he gets his groove back and there’s no doubt that on his day he can run through the opposition without much effort. What a guy like Yuvraj needs is a good game, and that is wherein the actual problem lies. That one game could be the first of a series or none of many.
Mental Toughness Is A Part Of Being Fit And He Might Be Able To Offset His Physical Liabilities © BCCL
The Yuvraj of ago was a firepower at point. Now, he’s just a caricature of his former self and that is a big liability in the shorter formats where speed and agility is everything. That he is determined to do well for team India is some consolation but the fast games could prove to be his undoing in the near future.
MS Dhoni Is Arguably The Greatest Indian Captain But Yuvraj Is Never Going To Say That On Camera © BCCL
Yuvraj goes on to say that under Dhoni, Team India has achieved everything but just stops short of calling him the best Indian captain to ever take the field. Everyone knows that there are some unresolved issues between both of them and it’ll be interesting to see how they react to Kohli’s command in the upcoming series against England.
Kohli Will Demand Aggressive Performances And Those Who Don’t Deliver Will Vanish © BCCL
Virat Kohli is an aggressive captain who demands results unlike Dhoni who was more focused on the processes. Under Kohli there is a definite need to perform to the potential and those who are unable to deliver might be booted without much consideration. Dhoni was a hard taskmaster and Kohli might just prove to be a little more aggressive in terms of delivering results.

One of the most loved presidents of the United States, Barack Obama will always be remembered fondly by people. As his term as president comes to an end, and the next president-elect Donald Trump is all set to take the reins in his hand, America is giving Obama an emotional farewell.
In this video titled ‘'Yes We Can: Your Most Memorable Moments from the Obama Presidency’, actors, sportpersons, philanthropists, and children share their fondest Obama moments and it’s heart-warming to see how deeply a leader can affect his people.
While actor Leonardo DiCaprio reminisces about the moment President Obama stressed on the issue of climate change at the UN,

Tom Hanks applauds him on his policy with regards to Cuba, "When he just changed all the rules on the table in regards to Cuba with the most succinct motivation imaginable, which is 'What we've been doing hasn't worked' — which made all the sense in the world."
    © YouTube
But the most heart-warming tributes are the ones by the little kids. A child confesses his favourite moment as the one when he said, “Eat your peas”. Another young girl says, "He's my role model, my idol, because I want to be president.”

You know the worth of great leader by the way he impacts a whole country, an entire generation. In Obama, people not only saw an empathetic leader but also a great model of a man, and that is the silver lining of hope in this cut-throat world. It’s simple, he gives them hope, He inspires them to be better versions of themselves. And us too.

Om Puri’s death has left the entire country in shock and a state of sadness as the nation lost a powerhouse of talent. While the demise and the horror are too fresh in our minds, self-proclaimed Pakistan’s number 1 news channel has a bizarre claim and a theory that describes the veteran actor’s death. Pakistani news anchor Aamir Liaquat explained in detail how Om Puri was actually murdered.
    © YouTube
He explained that Puri earned a lot of flak for his fondness towards Pakistan and even talked his son into embracing Islam. After his tweet earned backlash and he was forced to apologise for his comments about the Indian Army, Om Puri’s haters started the plotting. That is what he claims. He then went on to abuse Modi and called him a ‘ganda’ aadmi, and said that a Parliamentarian was backing his thoughts. The channel then played a clip of none other than Kejriwal!

There was more rubbish that was dug out and Ajit Doval was named as the man behind the murder. We are not sure how to define this stupidity in simple words, so have a look yourself and decide:

The worst thing about fitness today is that most people keep on chasing aesthetics and ignore the strength part. Performing 30 above reps with puny pink dumbbells and then enjoying that temporary pump is what a lot of guys do at the gym. Now understand this thing: attaining aesthetics without gaining strength is like modifying your 100cc bike and giving it the outer look of a 600 cc bike. But the reality is that you are still a 100cc bike. It is always a smart to hit the gym for gaining strength, and functional strength to be precise. Aesthetics is a byproduct of your strength training, however, only if your nutrition part is on point.
Now, here are the 5 tips that can help you gain strength as well as aesthetics:
    1. Incorporate more compound lifts like squats, deadlifts, military press and push press. These lifts trigger maximum muscle fibers contraction and engagement. Simply put, they are the foundations of functional strength.
    2. Keep your working set’s rep range between 4-8. This rep range is ideal for packing on muscles as well as strength. Keep the loads heavy.
    © Crossfit
    3. Do not underestimate the power of progressive training. Your body is designed to grow and get stronger, in respect to the mechanical stress you put through the exercise. Try to increase the poundage with your every set.
    4. However, there may come a point when you may hit a plateau for the poundage you have been lifting. Now here comes the trick: incorporate drop sets, pause sets, giant set and fluctuate the tempo of performing a set. This way, you can still gain strength without adding the extra poundage on the bar.
    5. Always prefer free weights (barbell and dumbbell) over machines. Free weights give you better range of motion and enhance the symmetrical muscle strength.
Remember, there are no shortcuts to attainting stubborn strength. You need to train hard and lift heavy weights. Even if you use gear to boost strength, you still need to push your limits and have that extra edge benefit.
    © Crossfit
As far as the supplementation is concerned, Creatine is the most effective and pocket-friendly supplement you can incorporate in your stack in order to support your intense training sessions. Creatine fills up the missing ATP (energy source of cells) while performing an intense anaerobic workout. Apart from creatine, I would also recommend fish oil that will enhance your joint mobility, heart health and the brain function. Hence, train to gain strength and your aspiring lean shredded physique will follow you.

Before characters like Doraemon, Minions and Chota Bheem came into being to entertain the kids, there were some really cool cartoons back in the day which were sheer masterpieces. Virat Kohli will begin a new chapter in the history of Indian cricket when he leads the home side against England in the three-match ODI and T20 series, slated to begin from 15 January.
The Delhi lad, who has already proved his mettle as India's captain in Test cricket, will surely face a daunting task to fill the shoes of MS Dhoni who is the only skipper to win all major ICC tournaments.
Dhoni, recently, broke the hearts of a million fans after announcing his decision to step down as India's captain from limited-overs cricket.
Despite relinquishing his captaincy, the fact that Dhoni will still be available for selection will undoubtedly be a boost for India. Also, his availability in the side will help Kohli in his transition as limited-overs captain.

    — BCCI (@BCCI) January 7, 2017 While we eagerly await the sight of Dhoni taking orders from the new captain, here's what Kohli has in store for Indian cricket in the coming years:
'Biggest Day Of My Life' © BCCL
"It's a very special moment in my life. It's a lot of responsibility and something that I am really looking forward to. I didn't realise when this transition really happened in my own head of starting my career as a player playing for India and now having the responsibility of captain in all three formats. I feel very grateful for the opportunity. When I was informed about it, all my feelings and emotions when I played club games as a child - were the first things that came to my mind. For every child growing up, it's a dream to play for the country. But, this is probably the biggest day in my life," Kohli revealed.
Prepared To Lead India Across All Formats © BCCL
"I was told a day before the meeting that MSD is not going to play the first Test in Adelaide and I was going to lead India. It was quite surprising for me because I didn't expect it at all because in my head, I was still finding feet in Test cricket as a batsman. But, the responsibility worked beautifully for me. It took some time for me to understand and process how it (captaincy) is done," Kohli said.
"The ODI and T20 captaincy has been something that I've tried to learn along the lines a lot more. But, at the same time, I feel a lot more confident about taking it up and starting it off straightaway because of the kind of cricket I've played in the shorter formats and what I've learned being in different situations," he disclosed.
"I've been preparing in my own head and Dhoni has also been speaking to me about certain strategies. He has been helping me learn how situations need to be approached. I think Dhoni has also understood that it's important to guide and teach me as well, knowing that the kind of legacy he has set up, it's very important for the person coming in next to take that legacy forward and not be in a state of confusion," he added.
Having MS Dhoni Around As A Player © BCCL
While discussing the importance of having someone as great as Dhoni at your disposal on the field, Kohli said: "It's a win-win situation for the new captain coming in. Still having that guy (Dhoni) for advice, for his inputs and for the cricketing brain purely that he has," Kohli said.
"But, what I am most happy about is the fact that he will now be able to play free cricket. He will be able to express himself as the aggressive MS Dhoni we knew when he walked into the team. Somewhere as a player you understand that responsibility can take that away from you. I think it's time Dhoni enjoys his cricket and express himself for as long as he wants," he revealed.
"He has taken so much burden for the country and now it's his time to enjoy it. We share a wonderful friendship and I couldn't be more lucky to have him around for his priceless ideas," he added.
On Being Dhoni's Successor © BCCL
"Obviously these are massive shoes to fill. You think of MS Dhoni and the first word that comes to mind is 'captain'. You don't relate MS Dhoni in any other way. For me, Dhoni will always be my captain because I started my career under him. He guided men and gave me the opportunity to represent my country. He gave me ample space and time to grow as a cricketer. He saved me from getting dropped from the team on multiple occasions. And, that's why there is a lot of mutual respect between us," the new Indian captain said.
On Dhoni's Batting Position © BCCL
"As far as his batting position is concerned, I would love to see him bat higher up the order. But, knowing someone like Dhoni, I feel that he'll be happy to bat at any position as long as it serves the team," Kohli said.
"But, no matter where he bats, I want him to enjoy his cricket. If Dhoni enjoys his cricket and plays the way he has in his initial years, the team will definitely be in a solid space. His cricket ability, understanding of the game and match situations is priceless. To have this burden off his shoulders, I think he is going to enjoy the best phase of his career as a batsman. And, he will be able to enjoy his cricket far more than he has ever done before without the burden of being under the scanner," he added.
Challenges In Limited-Overs Captaincy © BCCL
"I feel that captaincy in Test cricket, still, gives you an opportunity to come back into the game. But, when it comes to limited-overs cricket, the shorter formats don't allow you to stage a comeback very often. Ricky Ponting is considered one of the greatest Australian captains of all time because of his ability to consistently extract fruitful results in the shorter versions of the game. And, that's exactly what Dhoni has also done for India over the years," Kohli said.
"Captaining in limited-overs cricket is very difficult; couple of players can just walk in and take the game away from you. And, to keep coming back from such situations and derive a favourable result for your side requires a different set of thinking," he revealed.
"Added responsibility has always worked for me because you don't have room to be complacent. And, that's why in the IPL, it's very easy for me to throw my wicket away after scoring 60-70 runs, but the fact that I push even after that is because of that added responsibility as captain. I need to lead from the front and set an example for my team. I have to make that effort myself first, before asking my teammates to do something like that," he added.
On Leading India In 2019 World Cup © BCCL
Asked about his take on leading the Indian side into the 2019 World Cup, Kohli revealed: "Just hearing about the World Cup gives me goosebumps. I've played a 50-over World Cup alongside a couple of T20 events. But, to play a World Cup for India as captain would be the biggest achievement of my life. But, what needs to be understood and addressed is the fact that it is a gradual process. The good thing is that everyone's young and excited to grow as a cricketer. It is the most exciting place that a captain can be in. I think it's a wonderful phase for Indian cricket where the youngsters coming in can seal their place for the big occasion."
    Champions Trophy © BCCL
"We have the Champions Trophy coming up and everyone's really excited and raring to go for it. Everyone is fighting for their place in the ODI squad. We are still figuring out the best possible team combination for the tournament. The main goal is to indentify players who can play in different positions and can work around the batsmen who have been featuring in the ODI setup for a long time," Kohli said.
"At the same time, we are also focussing on giving the players their own personal space to prepare for the big event and grow as a cricketer. But, understanding who is suited for a particular position or a job in the team, is the most important thing," he added.
On How To Stay On Top © BCCL
Kohli also shared his plans for Indian cricket and how he intends to keep the team on top: "For me, the mindset doesn't really change in formats. The team needs to realise that the ultimate goal is to win. And, in this age, you have to play consistent cricket at a very high intensity for a long period of time to win games. That's one of the reasons why we have been able to do well in Test cricket. We have been able to apply that extra pressure consistently on the opposition, enough for them to make a mistake."
"I think we've become more resolute, patient and mentally stronger than our opponents in terms of difficult situations where we test them to the limit of them making mistakes rather than us committing that error," he said.
"It's been a gradual process to get to that level in Test cricket. But, I think in shorter formats, the guys will give their very best and play at a higher intensity. We train well, practice really hard and everyone takes equal ownership of the results we have. And, that's the only way you can stay on top in international cricket nowadays," Kohli concluded.
While Dhoni's era as Indian captain has come to an end, Kohli's rise in Indian cricket and, more importantly, as the new skipper is probably a sign of many good things to come in near future.
