Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa’s relationship is a testimony to the fact that true love exists. They got married in an intimate wedding ceremony on November 15. The wedding ceremony took place in the presence of the couple’s close friends and family members. They got married at the Oberoi Sukhvilas Spa Resort, an 8,000-acre luxury hotel in the Siswan Forest Range, at the foothills of the Himalayas in New Chandigarh. The couple shared a wedding video wherein they are seen bashing patriarchal norms.

If you have seen the video, you would agree with the fact it’s magical and they look deeply in love. Rajkummar greets her with loud whistles before exchanging hand gestures for 'I love you.' Patralekhaa said, “Raj, it's been 11 years but I just feel like I have known you for a lifetime and not only this lifetime. I am sure it has been many lifetimes.”

Rajkummar said that their connection is so deep that it doesn’t feel like they have known each other for these many years. “Honestly, it has been 10-11 years but it still feels like we've just started dating. We just love each other's company so much, we thought let's just do it. Let's just be husband and wife,” he says. As they exchanged the ‘varmalas’, Rajkummar tells Patralekhaa, “We keep saying this to each other but we are soulmates and I truly, truly believe that. Thank you for being my wife.”

The biggest highlight is that Rajkummar finishes the video by putting vermilion on her forehead and asking her to do the same. With this, Rajkummar has shunned the patriarchal norms and proved that he is a real man and also a true feminist. The idea of feminism is to make sure that both genders are on an equal platform and, Raj and Patralekhaa are proof that equals can be happy together.

In one of her earlier interviews with Humans of Bombay, Patralekhaa revealed how she first perceived Raj when she first saw him in Love *** Aur Dhokha  (LSD). She said, "I thought that the weird guy he played in the film was actually what he was like. My perception of him was already tarnished. He told me later, that he had first seen me in an ad and thought, 'I'm going to marry her.' It was so ironic."
