Jacqueline Fernandez is in the news for all the wrong reasons as she is currently under the scanner of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) as a witness in a Rs 200 crore money laundering case.

Jacqueline was leaving for a show in Dubai on Sunday evening and was stopped by the officials based on a lookout circular issued to her by the ED in connection with the extortion case. However, she was allowed to leave the airport after a brief detention.

As per a report in India Today, sources told the portal while the actor was completing the process to board a flight for a foreign country, the officials stopped her and informed her about the look-out circular. The airport officials have informed the officials of the Enforcement Directorate about the detention of Jacqueline Fernandez. The sources also added that she would be soon be questioned in Delhi. 

According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, Salman Khan who’s Jacqueline’s close friend won’t be able to help her out in his case and she is likely to be arrested soon. A co-star of hers told the entertainment portal on condition of anonymity, “She is a very sweet person. But too ambitious for her own good. She always wanted the good life. Only the very best for her, always.”

Salman is looking at replacing her for the Riyadh concert. A source told Bollywood Hungama, "Jacqueline is in trouble, serious trouble. She is likely to be called for questioning by the Enforcement Directorate a number of times in the coming weeks and may even be restricted from traveling out of Mumbai. Salman is looking at replacing Jacqueline for the Riyadh concert."

People are bashing her for trying to leave the country considering the situation. People went on to say that she is a ‘bhagodi’ and if she was genuinely planning to escape the country, she should have probably taken lessons from Vijay Mallya.

As per the charge sheet, Sukesh and Jacqueline have been talking to each other since January 2021. Sukesh used to speak to Jacqueline over his mobile phone even while he was in jail. 

The expensive gift items include jewellery, diamond-studded jewellery sets, crockery, four Persian cats (the cost of one cat is around Rs 9 lakh), and a horse worth Rs 52 lakh.
