Hollywood actor Keanu Reeves is one personality that is admired by everyone, right from his industry peers down to his fans.

The reason behind the Matrix actor being so well-liked by people is mainly down to the fact that he's very down to earth, and there have been plenty of examples out there on the internet to prove just that.

Now, Keanu, who is around 57 years of age, obviously has done a lot of blockbuster films in his career, while also working with the biggest of stars the industry had to offer.

But did you know that there was once a time when the handsome actor was part of a Bollywood award function, where he casually handed over the prize to a Bollywood star?

Yep! That's right!

As per an NDTV report, it was the year 1999 when the John Wick actor must have been around 35 years of age.

What happened was that back then, Keanu was a part of an alternative rock band called Dogstar, where he was the bassist and backing vocalist.

He alongside bandmembers Bret Domrose and Robert Mailhouse had been performing at the Zee Cine Awards, following which the entire band was called on to the stage to present the trophy for the 'Best Female Debut' award.

After Keanu and the rest of the band appeared on the stage, they read the name of the winner, who actually turned out to be Preity Zinta.

The actress, who had won the award for her role in Soldier starring Bobby Deol, could be seen making her way through the crowd to the stage, before being greeted by a gracious Keanu Reeves.

Preity, who now lives in the US along with her husband Gene Goodenough, had earlier also shared the video of the throwback moment.

Wow! We know Preity has done exceptionally well in films throughout her career, but to be awarded by none other than Keanu himself, is surely an award in itself.

Keanu will be seen with Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra in the newly released The Matrix Resurrections film.
