After a long wait, the makers of Prabhas and Pooja Hegde's Radhe Shyam have finally released the film's trailer. Going by the trailer, the much-hyped movie looks like an out-and-out Sci-fi Romantic tragedy. The Baahubali star is essaying the role of a Palmist/future teller named Vikramaditya in the intriguing drama, directed by Radha Krishna Kumar.

Prabhas' character is shown as a flirt, who thinks that love and marriage are not meant for him. However, he eventually falls for Prerna (Pooja Hegde) and both of them are then shown happy together. However, with shots like blood-stained hands and a sinking ship, the second half of the trailer hints at a tragic climax to their love story.

Ever since its release, the trailer is trending on Twitter as netizens are continuously talking about Radhe Shyam on the platform. Overall, the trailer has been receiving a mixed response from social media users. Prabhas and Pooja's fans have loved the trailer and are appreciating their onscreen chemistry. Also, people are calling it a visual treat. 

However, a section of netizens aren't too happy with the trailer and think that it failed to meet the expectations. 

A user wrote, "Truly loved it man.. probably best Cgi work in Indian cinema till now.. Chemistry between Prabhas and Pooja worked excellently.. Cinematography on top-level". Another wrote, "Seems like #Prabhas is looking more stiff and less energetic in #RadheShyamTrailer compared to Bahubali duology. More proof Rajamouli brings out the best & energy of his actors well than others of late".

For the unversed, Radhe Shyam has been in production since 2018 and faced several delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic among other issues. In July this year, the team wrapped up the shoot. The much-awaited film is finally releasing in the theatres on January 14, 2022.
