It's been a wonderful year for Punjab-born Miss Universe Winner Harnaaz Sandhu. 

The 21-year-old beauty made India proud by winning the Miss Universe 2021 beauty pageant, bringing the title back home after a period of 21 years.

Now, having seen many models making their way into Bollywood, it looks like Harnaaz could be going down a similar path.

Speaking during an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Harnaaz was asked about which Bollywood actress' biopic would she like to be a part of if she had the choice.

Now, while there is obviously no dearth of talent and beauty within the Bollywood industry, gave the name of Bollywood and Hollywood actress Priyanka Chopra.

Speaking with Bollywood Hungama, she said, "(I would choose) Priyanka Chopra. I would love to love to be part of that. I think she has inspired me throughout her journey and she will keep on inspiring millions of us."

We don't really blame her really. I mean, in all honesty, Priyanka has reached certain heights that not many can think of.

Having conquered Bollywood, the actress is now plying her trade in Hollywood, with The Matrix Resurrections being the latest project she is a part of.

As it turns out, this is not the first time Harnaaz spoke about her love and preference for Priyanka.

In an old video, Harnaaz spoke about Priyanka after winning Miss Diva 2021. “I love Priyanka Chopra. So whatever lessons I can learn from her is nevertheless. So I will always choose Priyanka. Priyanka Chopra has been my biggest inspiration. She has created her own brand and represented India not only in beauty pageants but also through her acting and singing talent. She has made India proud and I am hoping to follow her footsteps and bring glory back the way she did." said Harnaaz.

If we really think about it, there might just be parallels between Priyanka and Harnaaz, due to their background.

While she obviously would have to work really hard to reach where Priyanka is, one can only be proud of what all she has achieved at the age of 21.

However, as it turns out, Priyanka too lavished praise on Harnaaz when she won Miss Universe 2021. 

“I was very excited about it. The last time India had a Miss Universe was Lara Dutta in the year 2000. That was the year that I won Miss World as well. She (Harnaaz) has brought home the crown after 21 years and she is 21, so she was born in the year that I won Miss World. I’m so excited for her and I hope this is the beginning of an incredible journey. She’s very smart and gorgeous, obviously, and I’m very excited for her.” said Priyanka.

That's some compliment, Harnaaz!
