*** addiction is not a myth and it's time we start talking about it. *** addiction is a serious issue and several Hollywood celebrities, who struggled with it, are coming forward to spread awareness about this problem. Most recently, in an interview, Oscar-nominated actor James Franco revealed being a *** addict while talking about the accusations of sexual misconduct against him by five women.  

He is not the only Hollywood star who has talked about his struggle with *** addiction. In the past, various known names including Kanye West and Colin Farrell too had confessed to being *** addicts. Below, take a look at the list of 5 Hollywood celebs who struggled with this problem:

The actor, who is known for his roles in the Spider-Man franchise and 127 Hours, recently confessed sleeping with his acting school students, adding that it "was wrong". He also talked about his struggle with *** addiction and revealed that he had to seek treatment for it. He reportedly developed *** addiction at a young age after becoming sober from alcohol addiction.

When he was only five years old, Kanye had been exposed to a Playboy magazine which reportedly fuelled his interest in *** and things related to it. In 2019, he revealed becoming an addict after his mother breathed her last in 2007 and added that he himself controlled it after finding God. Well, that's commendable.

The Tigerland actor too struggled with *** addiction. Farrell, in 2015, shared that the chemicals caused an imbalance in his case. After undergoing therapy and rehab, Colin Farrell is now sober.

Known for his performance in X-Files, David too sought treatment for *** addiction. Confessing the same in an interview, he had added that it was a difficult situation for Tea Leoni, his former wife. He denied being a *** addict for several years before voluntarily going into rehab.

After breaking her cocaine and alcohol addiction, Lindsay Lohan reportedly struggled to overcome her *** addiction. In an old interview, her then-boyfriend had revealed that she replaced her addiction to alcohol and drugs with ***. Later, at the age of 29, she reportedly was completely sober after going to rehab several times for ***.
