Of late, sports biopics have been getting more popular in Bollywood.
It's such a good way for the movie business to go as obviously, the producers and other moviemakers have understood to take advantage of India being an insane cricket-loving nation.
We Indians, love our cricketing heroes! The game is just a religion to us.
Thankfully, Bollywood knows of that, which is why we got to see Ranveer Singh's biopic of Kapil Dev, 83.

Looks like Kartik Aaryan, too has joined the biopic bandwagon and he wants to play a cricketer as well.
Who? A very, very good one.
Kartik, who recently saw the release of his Netflix film Dhamaka, was speaking with Bollywood Hungama in an interview when he was asked whose biopic would he be interested in playing.
Well, the actor instantly responded, 'Virat Kohli!'

This one name in cricket sends chills down the spine of Indian fans as well as anyone who watches cricket across the world.
The Team India cricket captain is without a doubt one of the best cricketers in the world and looks to cement his name as an all-time great as well.
Now, with cricketing legend Kapil Dev's biopic already done and dusted by Ranveer Singh, Virat Kohli sets to be another name that could join MS Dhoni in having their biopics.
I personally think Kartik is more than fit to play the part.
I mean, look at it.
Both Kartik and Virat came from humble backgrounds, worked really hard, and got success against all odds. Secondly, both the stars are in their prime right now, and with Kartik already in a rich vein of form, he could really be the perfect choice to play Virat.
Moreover, it looks like Kartik has already started prepping for the role, as seen in his Instagram posts.

Kartik has a long list of movies that are going to release this year, with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 being one of them, and Freddie being the other.
