Created by Prem Mistry and Abhishek Yadav, Campus Diaries manages to touch upon many societal issues, one of them being ragging and rampant drug abuse. 

The very first episode introduces us to the foreign return Raghav. Expelled from his old university for possessing drugs, Raghav is trying hard to fit in the new crowd. 

On his first day at Excel, he refuses to give in to an attempt at ragging. His fierce stance sets the tone for the show - nothing too preachy!

Campus Diaries is not just about any one student. It chronicles the life of 5 friends who form a lifelong bond with each other. 

There’s the yaaron ka yaar politically inclined Sudheer (played by Harsh Beniwal), the forever friend-zoned guy, Abhilash (played by Ritvik Sahore), the popular class rebel, Sushmita (played by Salonie Patel) and the type A class topper and girl-next-door, Sanya (played by Srishti Ganguli Rindani). It also sees Saloni Gaur as Priyanka, a righteous and independent girl who is a strong adversary for Sudheer and goes up against him in the elections for Hostel Secretary. 

From awkward first dates to hook-up sessions, smoking up and toxic exes, Campus Diaries touches upon deeper issues that mould our personality at an early age. It also highlights issues like discrimination based on a societal bias that leads to a deep-seated shift in our personality.
