People Found Out What Jeff Bezos' 'Special Breakfast' Is & They Just Can't Digest It

Jeff Bezos has it all - and that is a sentence that just makes sense in every way. He in fact even has things that money can't buy - like good health and a jacked physique. Remember when the internet went into a tizzy when pictures of his buff physique first materialized?

Anyway, let's jump to the main topic here. Jeff apparently has a special breakfast that he immensely enjoys, and it frankly is one of the weirdest things one can have for breakfast.

He has octopus for breakfast. Yes, you read it right. While one would wonder why exactly of all the things one would choose that sea creature for breakfast, Jeff Bezos reportedly has it for health reasons, as well as because he enjoys having it. Octopus is regarded as a delicacy which is high in protein, low in fat, and provides many essential vitamins and minerals you need for good health.

However, according to some reports, the above may just be 'mythical' and there is another story associated with his philosophy of eating this particular breakfast that actually stems from an incident.

Apparently, the reason for Bezos eating octopus is rooted in his business philosophy. "In a 2014 Dallas' D Magazine profile of Matt Rutledge, who sold his daily-deals e-commerce company, Woot, to Amazon for $110 million in 2010, Rutledge shared the story of his first meeting with Bezos after the deal. During the breakfast meeting, Rutledge asked Bezos why he bought the company. Bezos famously looked down at his plate and said, "You're the octopus that I'm having for breakfast ... When I look at the menu, you're the thing I don't understand, the thing I've never had. I must have the breakfast octopus", reported Business Insider.

Since it's Jeff Bezos we're talking about, anything can be the truth as that man is shrouded in mystery, perhaps rightfully so. People can't seem to digest his 'having octopus as breakfast' story, and honestly we don't blame them. But again, it's Jeff Bezos. He does what he wants!
